Paul's trusted foreman Ramon and his crew worked extremely hard, they did not cut any corners and took pride in their work. After three days my backyard was totally transformed. I am extremely grateful I met Paul and his team. I highly recommend you hire Paul for any landscaping need. In case you are wondering Paul removed my old grass and weeds, installed St Augustine sod, cleanup my slope and plann, trimmed my trees and removed some palms that were damaging my brick wall. Installing sod is a process labor task when done right. You have to kill all the old grass and weeds and then remove it all until all you have dirt. Once that is done you work on the irrigation system to ensure you have water spread out evenly all throughout the ground with proper drainage. Finally, you add fertilizer to the soil and then lay down the sod which is best installed the same day it was cut. Check out my before and after pictures.

Over the years I've picked up bushes, herbs, flowers bushes, and free trees. This year i liked the sapling for a Flowering Plum Tree (no fruit despite the name). Prices are reasonable and the staff are helpful with selection and care tips, too. Additionally, they have all the tools and plant food you can possibly want.

I had called the nursery that is located about seven minutes from my house. It's not Parkview. I asked them if they had the particular root stock and tree in stock. Their response basically was we have that variety of tree Santa Rosa plum but we don't know what route stocks we have. I said can you look and tell me. Their answer was no if you want to see you can come down and look. After hanging up the phone and disbelief, I called Parkview nursery on Chicago Avenue and again I got the outstanding service that I'm used to there. I told the gentleman who answered the phone what I was looking for he said let him check. He came back in about a minute and told me that they had that rootstock, but asked me why I wanted that particular type of rootstock. I explained to my situation and the type of soil and he recommended a better root stock that I was not familiar with. I had even gone on the Dave Wilson Nursery the supplier of fruit trees and it didn't catch my attention. He was absolutely right the root stock that he recommended was 100 times better and they also had that in stock. Needless to say, I got in my car drove the 35 minutes. It was greeted with outstanding customer service by every employee I ran into. If you are looking for a true outstanding nursery, this is the place to come. They have caring employees who really want your landscaping/gardening adventure to be successful.

The perlite is about 4cu ft and it beats anything you'll find at the hardware store. It's such amazing quality and quantity for the price. They essentially have everything you need for whatever you're growing. I had some questions regarding some products and what I might need to grow certain things and the guy behind the counter was sooooo awesome and helpful. He recommended the minimal things I needed and the products didn't break the bank. He let me know where to place it outside and how long the growing process was. I'll 1000000% be coming back whenever I need more stuff. The only thing I didn't like is that the prices aren't posted. You gotta go online at their website and search the item you want to find the price. The only prices I saw listed were the sale items. But other than that, all great.

He told the workers and me the agave can be cut the long trunk and plant right in the ground, and I let him talk me into that, what I know about plant, if the plant guy say so, it will be fine, now 2 month later they are all looking dying. Also before he cash out the check he says next day he can bring some other plant to let me see if I don't like the looks of the stuff he dropped off, but of course he went to cash out the check right after he leave my place, then after he cashed out the check he won't pick up the calls and reply to the text. I tried my best still only used 6 agave he dropped off, so basically I paid $1,800 for 6 agave? The only reason I trust him because he was my pool guys plant guy, so end up my pool guy agree to cover this guy's ass, take back and credit me that 6 agave I didn't use. But my front yard still look bad, but I already paid and planted so i stuck to something I don't want.
