This is the fourth nursery I visited close to Hemet. They have a huge nursery, friendly staff and great selection of plants except for herbs and veggies. So I was a little disappointed. Prices a little on the higher side compared to the nurseries I visited. Staff is friendly and ready to help. read more

French Valley Nursery has a fantastic selection, competitive prices, and the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of trees, shrubs, flowers, and drought-tolerant succulents, as well as all of the soil and gardening materials you might need. I am impressed with the size of this nursery and the amazing selection offered by this family-owned business! Additionally, the owner is a stand-up guy and I think he deserves recognition for his involvement in the community. Every year, he hosts an Easter egg hunt for the kids in our community and he's also volunteered his time to help our local Cub Scouts learn about plants and gardening. read more

I bought 250 myporum plants from them on 3/14/26. Within 120 days 80% of them died, the remaining ones are still struggling. When purchased they looked very rough but the owner assured me that once planted they would come back. About 60 days in I replaced 50% of them with myoporum from another nursery on the same drip irrigation and the same planting and they are all thriving. I replaced most of the balance of them about 60 days ago. Even the ones replaced 60 days ago look much better than that ones planted on 3/14/26 from French Valley. They were very friendly, it's just the quality of the plants that I received were bad. read more

Second time I have been here both times the place is so massive with so many plant selection that are not over priced and dying! The best thing about this place besides the plants is the service. Knowledgeable, friendly, and they help you with everything including carrying the plants up front and to your car if needed. Not only that they offer you advice on how to take care your plant. I love this place my first plant is 4 years old and beautiful still so I had to redo my garden again and here I am same great quality and service thank you for all the help. Come check them out!!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this French Valley Nursery! If you are tired of the sad, generic, and overpriced selections at standard big-box retail stores, do yourself a favor. They have a massive, dazzling variety of everything; their inventory is a plant lover's paradise! I could tell immediately that these plants are meticulously tended to by people who genuinely care about botany. My plants have adapted flawlessly to their new home and are already showing vigorous new growth. What truly sets this company apart is stellar customer service; Lexi is a dream! She is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, and patient. She happily answered all my hyper-specific questions regarding types of plants, soil types, sun exposure, and irrigation schedules, offering expert advice tailored specifically to my plant environment. Lexi didn't just sell me plants; she ensured I had the tools and knowledge to help them thrive. read more

The best service ever from the two ladies that helped us. Very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the plants to make our landscaping project look absolutely amazing. I can't speak highly enough for the team that helped us. We came in on a hot August day and left with around $500 in plants and mulch. Pricing was fair as well. Way better than going to Home Depot or Lowe's for plants. read more

They have some great quality service, plants, and trees here. If you are looking for something specific, this place is worth checking out. Some things are on the pricer side, but you get what you pay for. read more

French Valley Nursery - These two beauties came home with me for $40. I am so happy! - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Winchester, California

We came here to pick out our trees and flowers for our front yard and backyard and we were impressed by their selection. They have tons of acres full of plants, flowers and trees! My favorite place is the greenhouse. They have so many beautiful flowers and rose selection. They also treat and care for all the flowers to help them flourish before buying! I worked with Josh who was super knowledgeable and friendly! He made us feel welcomed and provided a lot of insight towards our vision. We will definitely be returning customers. The prices are a little higher than the other local nurseries we checked out but it's definitely worth it because of the quality and selection. We also met the owner who was super helpful and made it easy to get a citrus tree as a pre-order! read more

Best nursery in the area! I've visited Armstrong in Temecula and Moon Nursery. Bit overpriced and quality didn't seem worth it to me. I've purchased from Armstrong before and the quality was fine but the price was a bit high. French Valley Nursery has a fantastic selection and the prices were moderate. Yes, you can save by shopping a big box retailer (Home Depot or Lowe's) but you also get what you pay for. I've never been satisfied with the selection or quality of those stores. The staff at French Valley Nursery was extremely knowledgeable about every plant on their grounds. There is a wide variety of drought tolerant, desert friendly plants as well as some of the more tropical variety as well. We bought succulents today and they had a wide variety to choose from. All shapes and sizes available for any budget. The small ones were just $10 which is a great price and some of the bigger pots were $30-$50 but those are more mature plants that are ready to thrive. The staff was also very helpful in gathering the plants and delivering them to my truck which made getting in and out easy. Paid via Square on their iPad right at the back of the truck. Very impressed with the service, quality, and price. Will certainly it be shopping here again! read more

Would never return. Purchased three plants from them and went over there four times--all were very different and unexpected experiences. First time, great experience, no issues, employee was helpful. Second time, the worker offered us a discount (without us asking for one), if we paid in cash, but then said he had no change when we gave him a $100 bill for a $87 charge. He told us he could not give us a receipt ("computer down", but would email us one. He never did, and the next time we went in, they had no record of our purchase. Cash in pocket--no money trail for employee or taxes for owner. Either way--SHADEY. The last time we went there to exchange one of the plants that had died two months earlier, they refused to return the shrub saying we had ruined it by planting it. We showed them the shrub and manager called the owner, who offered us half off another plant, but would not guarantee this one. We decided against buying anything else from them and coming back. We spent more than $500 on three plants and they don't back their products. Not the guarantee we were told when we purchased the plants. Very shadey and dishonest---you've been warned. Go see Santiago at L&M Nursery, he runs a great nursury and backs up all of his plants 100%. read more

Large selection of various types of plants that are easy to find. Plants look very healthy and you'll be able to purchase most 5 gallon plants for $20. Some varieties might be $30. Great prices. Super friendly and helpful staff. AFFORDABLE delivery. The plants are healthy and well taken care of. Do NOT go down the road and pay 10x for the same quality at moon nursery. Save your money and come here, they take care of their plants just as well.
