Good parking, quiet area across from a diner that has great food with huge portions. About the staff-I can't rave enough about the friendliness, knowledge, and honestly of the staff. They helped me pick milkweed for my butterfly garden and tried to call me after I forgot my Louis Vuitton sunglasses. I came back the next day and they had them set aside for me. Now I've done a review for a gas station across the way and I talked about this nursery but I never actually went inside untill today. Definitely a place to go to. Whenever I have gone they have closed earlier than when they have stated they are open. Last time I went, I asked if they were open and one of the employees said they were closed. He began to state that they close at 4:30. I was there at 4. I couldn't get there earlier because of work. I just wished they stuck to their schedule rather than closing early. read more

I am stunned, and bewildered, by the negative reviews here! I am familiar with the owner, Joe; I can't imagine a nicer fellow. He has a very good reputation around town (my personal experience) - with both customers, and other growers. I have never had any issue with anything I have purchased from Roseland. The fellow who manages the retail center in Rainbow is a pleasure to work with - and very knowledgeable. He IS always available to help - he just doesn't lurk over you while you are shopping - just seek him out - I just call out, if I can't see him. My bougainvillea from Roseland are the ONLY ones that have never died. I find all of their plants high quality, and very fairly priced. The succulents that I buy there FLOURISH. Amazing Commercial Nursery Open to Public! This wonderful, family owned commercial nursey has a huge assortment of high qualtiy plants are very low prices - about 1/3 of retail prices! The owners were friendly, helpful, carried the plants for us, were knowledgeable and just so welcoming. The address listed is the grow site, but the actual retail center isat 4802 5th Street, Fallbrook (you can see it from I-15), and is across the street from a Tom's Farms like place. Very dishonest owner and workers. I have purchased at least $3000 to $4000 worth of product from Roseland Nursery. Joe the owner has been extremely dishonest with me. I purchased two large oak trees, one of which didn't look healthy even though his worker Anselmo said it would be find and just needed to be planted. One day after planting it was obvious it was going to die. I called right away to let Anselmo know and asked him to come out and take a look. He did and said, "it's going to be fine." When after a month it al turned brown and was obviously dead Anselmo said, "Joe won't give you another tree." What kind of business are they running? I have never heard of nursery not guaranteeing their trees for at least a month! I practically begged them to give me another tree even a smaller tree but they would not do it. I will never do business with these people again and will tell all my friends in Fallbrook to boycott them also. read more

I love this place! The prices are excellent, the selection is awesome and the they are super friendly and helpful. I found this nursery after I did most of the relandscaping of my front yard. I bought all my plants at home Depot or Armstrong. I could have kicked myself because I would have saved soooo much money if I had come here first. Plus, the plant specimens are so much larger than at Home Depot or Armstrong and 1/3 to half price. Now I will never buy another plant from Home Depot or Armstrong only Roseland. read more
