The place is huge and has a really nice selection of Palm tress and other plants in all sizes. Court was very friendly and helped us to pick and tag our plants. You need to come with some ideas already. They are not as professional in consulting than the other place. However we enjoyed that there were no aggressive Sales Men here, trying to make you sign a contract right away. Pricing was only one third of what Moon Nursery quoted to us. Also we got great advice on how to handle the planting and take care of our new trees. Delivery was only $80 to our house in Wildomar. I don't understand why there's not more reviews here - it's a great place to go!!!

They are not priced either (there is a general price guide but limited)but if you can get one of the owners to walk with you to the plants in question, they will provide a wealth of information. I think they are probably more geared to wholesale sales to landscape professionals than to small garden hobbyists like myself. The prices are not give away, but very fair. In addition I got some kind of discount that was worth 15%, and to top it all off I got a gift plant priced at $15. The prices were also higher than expected and we were required to pay nearly 2000.00, the balance of our order upfront. We could not get information on the delivery until the day before. Our plants were not as ordered and arrived strapped to a flat bed truck after we were assured they would be delivered in a box truck to protect the plants. It was not what we had ordered and the plants were damaged. We have been awaiting a 375.00 refund, which we have not received to date. There is no way I would recommend Plants of Joy.

I found that they stock some pretty uncommon succulents and "indoor" plants, which I appreciate, because I love the rare and variegated varieties! She also mentioned that if I wanted anything that she didn't have, she could have it within a week. With orders, you can pick up, or she will deliver. Although it's preferred that you make an appointment to shop, you are still able to shop without an appointment if they are in the store. The day I shopped, I did not have an appointment. She met me at the gate with a smile and walked with me all over her garden showing me all the herbs I asked about, and even some I hadn't. It was a private lesson on herbs. I felt so special!
