Probably best to call and make sure the gates will be open before you make the trip (760-990-4762). The selection of plants is a bit overwhelming. One could easily buy a truck load. I wish the plants were better marked, I would have probably bought more. They are not priced either (there is a general price guide but limited)but if you can get one of the owners to walk with you to the plants in question, they will provide a wealth of information. I think they are probably more geared to wholesale sales to landscape professionals than to small garden hobbyists like myself. The prices are not give away, but very fair. In addition I got some kind of discount that was worth 15%, and to top it all off I got a gift plant priced at $15. The next location will be Yucca Valley, quite a bit further than my current one hour drive.

The store is absolutely beautiful. The moment you enter, you are warmly welcomed by friendly staff, beautiful gifts, fresh plants, and lovely scents. Instant relaxation. The candles, soaps, hand washes, and cleaning products have minimal/less harmful ingredients. Every purchase is beautifully wrapped in a bag with pretty tissue paper and fresh eucalyptus tied to the bag. Nice touch! The flowers and plants are fresh. The flowers and plants are grown locally at the Daily Ranch located in De Luz. Fresh lavender, protea, eucalyptus, wax flowers, and fillers are some of the items available. Great variety! There are lovely items for your home, office, and garden. They sell items from local artists and businesses as well. The shop offers bouquet making classes. They will teach you how to prep florals, balance color, design a bouquet, and care for your florals. They also have events at the ranch, check their website. The store has new and/or similar items regularly. If you see something you like, don't wait, chances are it will be gone.

I contacted through FB Messenger (Bill?) as well as text messages. After a hour drive, I ended up with a rio red grapefruit, oro blanco grapefruit, hass avocado, olallieberry and blueberry plants. I was told by Bill that the olallieberry grows good since I was looking for another berry plant. In person, I was slightly disappointed because it didn't have any flower or fruit but my girlfriend encouraged me to just get it. I'm hoping it will show signs of fruiting soon because my blackberry and blueberry plants are already fruiting. All 5 plants still needed a little bit of pruning at home because some or part of the leaves were eaten by unknown pests. Ended up with 4 mosquito bites as well. My only complaint would be the employee there didn't speak or understand much English. The good thing was another customer arrived shortly after, spoke Spanish and helped us translate. GPS to the address was correct for the most part except where it ends. It will take you to a locked gate just a little bit past the orange cones. Instead of following GPS all the way to the end, look for the orange cones and park on the dirt road to the side. The orange cones is where the entrance is at. I may be back for other fruit plants in the future.
