This was my first experience at a Boot Barn and a first purchase of new cowgirl boots. I visited on "Halloween" ( the girls wanted to make sure I said that so if anyone saw their picture, they wouldn't think they were just dressed like that on a regular day, lol) Immediately I was greeted by the woman behind the cash wrap, who made small talk with me. As I found my boot size and went through the vast selection of boots, I was greeted by at least 2 other associates who asked if I needed any help. At the time I didn't, but I realize I would have some questions about the fit of the boot that I was considering. I saw one of that employees walking by and she gladly assisted me in the boot area and told me all about how a boot should feel and fit. She also put a pair of insoles inside of the boots so I could tell the difference when walking. She told me about the normal break- in, the heel, how it should feel, how the boot should not feel, and how much and when they would stretch and mold to my foot. Because of Callia's service, demeanor, and expertise, I ended up buying the boots but did consider walking away and "thinking about it" at one point when I was confused about some discomfort with the boot ( before her help) . At the cash wrap, I was offered a pair of wood ?boot stands? to keep the moisture out of the boot but I ended up going w/ a leather conditioner first and in all honesty I told her I would like to see if I would find some of the wood inserts on Amazon for less. She explained to me why the Amazon inserts were not going to be the same and it made sense with what she said. Before the total, she signed me up for a type of rewards program and I got 10% off for purchasing in my birthday month, which was a nice surprise . The store itself has soooo many cute items, accessories, nice hats, clothing and of course boots. But I will come back for the customer service for sure. I am over 50 and worked in an era where if we were working with the public, we'd better exemplify some amazing customer service and this is that same, good old fashioned service that seems to have disappeared in the last decade or so. Stopped in here with some girlfriends to help a friend use a birthday gift certificate on a pair of boots. I never would have expected such a fun experience at a boot store lol! This place is aptly named - they have an enormous selection of boots, as well as belts, hats and Western wear. The employees are super fun and enthusiastic. I wish I could remember the name of the girl helping us...she was so knowledgeable with just the right amount of attentiveness without being annoying! She even had great info on where to go line-dancing. I went in for the sole purpose of helping a friend out, with no intention of getting anything, much less some cowboy boots! WORST SERVICE EVER, GO TO MENIFEE!! My finance is a lineman and we came here to buy boots size 13. It's hard for him to find comfortable boots for 12 hours days and once he finds a pair we find a member and she lets us know we have someone else's boot and she was helping him first ..... she took the boot and said sorry. Who does that like at least provide us with an alternative boot or provide help? I don't understand how you get employed as a service worker when you don't provide services? Just fyi if you like a boot carry both with you because if someone else likes them and they get help faster then you they will take your boot because they only offer one pair. Disappointed with my first experience here. I came in several weeks ago to try on a pair of boots that I saw online to double check my size. I left and came back several weeks later to purchase them for my birthday. I tried them on again and confirmed my size and had a gentleman help me. He was telling me the pair I would purchase is the pair on the floor that I had tried on and they don't have anything in the back. I told him that these were too worn, they had scuffs all over them the soles were worn that I wanted a new pair so he said I should order them online. I went home and ordered them online and the pair I received was the pair I tried on from the store. I called customer service and they were of no help. No one ever apologized basically said here's a return label you can go to the store and return them. I asked if there was any in the warehouse that are unworn that I could purchase and thankfully there was one more pair in my size that came from the warehouse. When I received those they were new packaged in plastic with all the correct stuffing. I went to the store today to return the used pair and try and get an explanation as to why these were the ones that were shipped to me. They had the display tag still on the boot, a whole in the shaft from the security tag, scuffs all over, glue residue on the top and worn soles and again, not a single apology. The lady just returned them, and I asked if this is usually how things are sent out as this was my first experience and she says well that's how they come from the vendor and I said no these came from your store. They still have the display sticker and she said she didn't know. For $220 boots, I would expect better customer service or attention to detail a simple apology would've rectified this entire situation. If someone took the time to go out of their way to, put themselves in my shoes and find a solution instead of making the customer do all the work. I am still contemplating returning the new pair that I received as I do not feel comfortable with the customer service I received in this being my first purchase. read more

Today we went in and I saw boxes on the ground that said there was a Stetson black hat in it so I picked it up to look inside. Meanwhile my husband was asking a lady about cowboy hat can. C. To the Temecula/Murrieta location. The store was very well stocked and the staff was amazing and so helpful. Decent Boot Barn, conveniently close to the freeway. Clean and fairly organized, though a lot of the work shoes I looked at were missing their price tags. The salespeople were willing to help but didn't seem to want to go the "extra mile" - they simply pointed out where shoes were and kept on going. Selection was fairly good and I found a decent pair of work shoes that were within my company's shoe allowance for the year. One thing about Boot Barn - their entire inventory is out on the floor. I went to Boot Barn in Temecula today. And they gave me the best customer service I ever had. I was there last year bought some boots and jeans and I had the same 5 plus grade customer service. Mr Todd and Mr Tim were just helping me tremendously with a pair of Dan Post Boots. They offered to have them stretched and fixed for me. I am going to give Boot Barn and the customer service personnel five stars all around. It is obvious to me they love their job and they love helping people find what they need. I found me a pair of Dan Post black cherry cowboy boots. They were a half size smaller but they help me into getting them boots stretched and fit me just to my liking. Being a Texas native this is the kind of service I expect. Todd and Tim should be recognized because of the great treatment of their customers. I will definitely come here again and buy more of my Western clothing and More Boots if I need to. I would say to the big boss he should buy them a big steak.
