I have shopped here a couple of times. Sometimes I find things, and sometimes I don't. I would suggest inspecting the clothes before purchasing. I grabbed a shirt that had a small cut in the fabric. I usually am one to just let things go but my experience this last Sunday unfortunately stuck with me. I went in the afternoon to go look as some summer dresses and when I went over to the fitting room I was met with not only a physical mess but also the behavior of the older woman who was working was truly deplorable. There was clothes everywhere! There was two racks at the front just overflowing with clothes it was overwhelming but that was not the worst part. The woman working had the worst attitude not only to me but seemingly her coworkers. She was loudly bunt and was visibly upset when I went to put the dresses that did not work for me on the rack. Also overhearing the way she talked rudely to this other coworker, but also about her when she left honestly left me feeling so disappointed. I just left because it truly made me feel sick. Store is clean, big, and organized and has quite a selection for the entire family's needs. The value, especially for designer name brands is definitely less than the regular Nordstrom store. Extremely disappointing experience. Due to employee incompetence, my card was charged twice for the same transaction. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they were dismissive, laughed, and gave attitude instead of helping resolve the issue. The manager was equally unhelpful and stated she "couldn't do anything until the next day," despite the error being caused by the store's own inability to properly process a single payment. No accountability, no urgency, and no professionalism. Being overcharged is frustrating enough, but being mocked and brushed off when asking for help is unacceptable. I have been in nicer, more well laid-out Good-Will stores, than what I found at the Temecula store. Racks of clothes crammed into random spaces, men's clothing mixed in with women's. A complete overwhelming mess. I went back a second time, thinking maybe it was me being cranky. Nope. I walked in, went over to make-up, decided I could not bear the store another second. I walked out. The thought of waiting in a ridiculously long line to check-out was another reason to leave. As I experienced the first time, there was a customer arguing with the cashier. OK, that's unfortunately becoming more common. Here though, the cashier was arguing right back with the customer!! Too many loops to just get to an answer about an item. Seems like these are the norms these days. Step 1: bots to answer non relevant issue taking up wasted time. Step 2: operator that will direct you to the department you need to speak to and when they do that sometimes the call drops so back to step 1. We were doing an outdoor event at a local winery and the night before we had been cold and wanted a blanket for the next night. I found a super soft throw that we both could share for $11. Score! My boyfriend bought a blue hoodie for $30. It had what we needed for the price we were willing to pay. Sometimes I find many clothing items at amazing prices! Sometimes I don't make it to the website or store and what I want is sold out. But that's what Nordstroms Rack does, they mark down items way below what you usually pay and it's a matter of beat the clock. Overall I've bought some really nice clothes and shoes here, watches too. When I go to the store the staff is very nice, always. So if you see something you like buy it! The Rack has flash sales and those are the best, like I said you need to buy buy the items when you see them or poof, they can be gone. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a few items on 11/03/2021 and when I got home I noticed that the shoes I purchased had been worn for a while. Obviously they were used and returned. The wear clearly showed that they were worn on concrete not inside the store carpet. I immediately went back to the store and returned them. I wrote a letter to the District Manager Katrin Barnabas and carbon copied the CEO Erik B. Nordstrom. Katrin called me and said that the wear was caused by someone trying the shoes in the store. It's convenient to return items here that you buy on-line from Nordstrom, since the local Rack store doesn't have all the items you need. Most of the time, the employees help to process returns quickly. Recently I went there on a Thursday (7/13/23) morning to return two white shirts from the Mother Brand. I didn't catch the employee's name but she is an older woman with white curly hair and dark frame glasses. I had my receipts ready from my phone, brought the shirts with their tags attached, and included the package the shirts came in. As someone who has done retail before (JCrew in San Diego), I take good care of clothes and especially try to return them as soon as possible. In this case, returning both shirts- within two days of receiving them. I wish one of them fit me right, but it is hard to guess size and material from a website. It's hard to explain but the interaction with this representative made me uncomfortable- implying she wanted me to provide a reason to return. I let her know while the shirts are pretty, they were quite sheer & I didn't feel comfortable as when I tried them on, one can see the bra thru the shirt. She was very dismissive & basically told me in so many words I should've have known that when purchasing the shirts, due to the material. After processing back my refund of over $400, she then asked me if I had gotten them during the Anniversary Sale. It made me super uncomfortable as my original receipt showed I had bought these on 7/6/23. Instead of checking that, she was implying that she had "over-refunded" me. I then had to tell her "No, it was bought on 7/6." Also, I am honest and would not ask a store to refund me a price that was wrong. As someone who buys a lot from Nordstrom and this particular brand, I know items sell out quickly. If I want something, I get it because I may not be able to get it later. In fact this shirt was sold out on the Mother Brand website so I got it from Nordstrom instead. I am taking the time to write this review because every time I have gone to this store and get this employee, she makes the transactions very unpleasant. When I worked at JCrew, I went out of my way to make customers feel comfortable and happy - even if they were doing a return. I never made them feel bad for returning an item. Sometimes it doesn't fit like it does the model on-line. Also, as I was leaving she was trying to pressure me to open a Nordstrom credit card. While I understand cashiers are trained to ask this, she just made the entire experience even worse. Because we live far from San Diego, I appreciate the ability to return items if they don't fit at the local Rack. But due to this one employee I will be making less purchases and/or wait till I am going down to San Diego to return items. The overall experience isn't worth the hassle. It's unfortunate because the other employees are nice, but I don't want to interact with this one clerk. read more

I love Nordstrom's Rack but I would rather order online & pay shipping or drive 40 miles to the next nearest store than go to this one. It is truly a hot mess. There's no organization of the clothes - they're just all on long racks everywhere for you to dig through. Honestly they're more messy and disorganized than Ross or Goodwill. This location also doesn't get that great of quality stuff. I typically will drive 40 miles to go to the South Coast or Brea one which has better selection. Lastly, the customer service could be better and more consistent. One day i'll get someone super helpful and willing to go beyond to help and the next day i'll interact with an employee that won't help me in the same way. Last week I went to return a coat and the customer service employee said that it was past the date but she would be happy to give me store credit anyways. I took a few days to think about it and went back a few days later and the customer service lady said there was nothing they could do to help since it was past the date. First time visiting this store and it was so hot like the heater was on and your bathrooms need a good cleaning. Prices are a hit or miss, most times I felt like I was rifling through racks of clothes in my grandma's closet. Organization had no rhyme or reason, even though everything was labeled accordingly, you could find shorts in every single corner of the store. Also sleeveless and tank tops were all separated as well which is weird how they just don't group the same types of clothing together to make things easier to find. I believe I paid $80 for a pair of shorts and 4 tanks, not sure if that's a good deal or not as I also don't shop at Nordstrom's either. read more

I came to this store because I forgot my phone charging cable when I was staying at an Airbnb. I know Nordstrom Rack has the Android C ones in the checkout line for $5.97. They held it at the cash register, meaning I had to stand in the line about 20 min, to buy it. Every Nordstrom Rack I go to , seems to have the same floor plan and arrangement of departments. LENISHA, the assistant manager, shouldn't work with the public to say the least. Her people skills leave much to be desired. She was so rude , condescending and tried to humiliate me in front of a line of people. She took my returned items out of the packaging and proceeded to spread it on the counter and- Sniff it!!! I was literally in shock. She refused to return my items because there was a hair on it. It was in its package with the receipt! I've never been so embarrassed, I couldn't even argue the situation because it was so horrific. I just made a hasty exit and will never return. I rarely go to the Rack anymore. The selection at the Temecula store is very limited. The clothes are cheap yet the prices remain high so not a good value. Their return policy is now 30 days. But, the worst part is their customer service at the front counter checkout. I went to return a beauty item from Nordstrom.com and MARIA stated that since it was used, they cannot accept the return. I called customer service and they stated this information is incorrect. The only things not returnable from Nordstrom.com to NORDSTROM RACK are fine jewelry and designer items. Apparently MARIA makes her own rules. I wish the Rack and their management would get their act together. read more

I wouldn't advise using PayPal at this location, bought a couple of items back in December 2022 canceled the order was still charged the full amount, and then was only refunded part of my money. I've been on a financial scavenger hunt with this transaction dispute since January with my Bank, PayPal, and Nordstrom to prove the items were never received. Came here yesterday after years of not coming due to previous experiences. I must say! The customer service was excellent. So glad that the rack takes returned from Nordstrom online. I returned a diaper bag and the lady doing the returns was so sweet and quick. She had me in and out. They had a greater who seemed genuinely happy to greet you as you walk in. I visited the store in Temecula today 08/25/2023. I was made to feel like a criminal with my own Nordstrom card. The cashier Maria G. Made up a story that my profile is not complete and she need to call customer service. She stated to customer service, "I don't see any notes on her account". From the sound of it, the person on the other line really didn't understand why she was calling about my profile. There was a long line and this took her 10 or 15 minutes. Initially when I walked in I had a return for three of the 10 items I purchased at the San Diego location a week ago. Two of the tags fell off in the bag, the manager told me to make sure when I make a return the tags are attached. She was not kind at all, and the tags were in the bag. Today I encountered a negative situation at this Nordstrom Rack. After calling customer care, they recommended I speak to the store manager. The store manager was unavailable, but I spoke with one of the Assistant Managers about the matter (which I have NEVER had to do). Her name was Lenisha. I cannot say enough positive things about this employee. Lenisha was FANTASTIC! She made sure that everything I needed happened. She also personally walked my items up to the checkout to ensure my remaining shopping experience was superb.
