A True Gem of a Bike Shop - Thank You, Vincent!…read more Vincent's Bicycle Shop is an absolute treasure. My fiancé bought his bike from Vincent back in October, and nine months later, we came back for a tune-up--not because anything was wrong, but because we wanted the bike to ride as smoothly as the day it was bought. Not only was I able to easily get in touch with the shop, but I was also able to meet Vincent himself the same day. That level of accessibility and care is almost unheard of these days. Despite it being a scorching 94 degrees outside, Vincent jumped right in--checking, adjusting, and re-tuning everything with such speed, knowledge, and passion. He took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure we understood the condition of the bike and how to keep it in top shape going forward. And the best part? He did all of this for just twenty dollars. Seriously--$20 for professional, thoughtful, and thorough work. Of course, we made sure to give him a well-deserved tip, because his time and effort were worth so much more. Vincent is not just a bike expert--he's a kind, hardworking, and honest person who genuinely cares about his customers. In a world where great service can be hard to come by, Vincent stands out in the best possible way. We're grateful beyond words and will never take our bikes anywhere else.

I'm pretty disappointed with the service I received. I brought my bike in because the pedal crank…read morekept falling off. One of the service workers recommended the mini tune-up, saying it would cover the fix. When I picked it up, I was told the bike needed a new crankshaft because mine was bent. Fine -- I paid for it, assuming that would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, shortly after, the exact same problem happened again. I wasn't able to return the bike until this month (the original repair was done in August). When I brought it back, I was charged an additional $20 for parts, again thinking it would finally be fixed. But the crankshaft came off again mid-ride while picking up my kids. I took it back immediately, and the service employee told me the crankshaft was broken. I explained that I had just purchased it from them. He seemed frustrated, went to the back, and said that if this repair didn't work, I would need a new bike. At this point, I've spent about $120 on a repair that never actually fixed the issue. It's really unfortunate because I like the shop and thought it was a cool place, but this experience was frustrating and disappointing.

The second repair came out great.....and I know candy apple red is a very difficult color to work with, because I used to paint hot rods myself. Thank you Element6!

I needed to find someone to fix my son's Talaria XXX because I hired someone off of airtasker who…read moreclaimed to know what he was doing and ended up ruining my son's e-bike he just got. It now showed an error00 and the bike wouldn't even go at this point. I had two different people who fixes e-bikes come try and diagnose and fix it, both were unsuccessful. I called everywhere and no one seemed to work on Talarias especially electrical. That's when I found Doran. I explained the situation and he came down in a few days from Temecula. He did a diagnostic and it was determined that it needed a new hall sensor, I'm guessing the previous guy plugged wires into different plugs and it just messed the entire bike up. Which I seen him doing, which is even more frustrating. Doran told me he would order the part and fix the bike and agreed to take the bike with him to Temecula and wouldn't charge me for the drop off back. It took about a month for the part to get delivered. Once it got delivered Doran said he would start working on it. It took about 2 weeks to finally get my son's bike back, but honestly he fixed the issue and my son and I were happy about that! We had almost no hope at that point because no one could figure it out besides Doran. He also installed my son's bombers suspension forks as well. Doran dropped off the eBike and also fixed my son's light (needed a switch to turn the light off and on) for us free of charge which was really nice! I would say he does do this alone, so you do need to do your due diligence and follow up a lot with him. And understand he has other e-bikes he's working on and also experiencing some health issues. He told me he is trying to get better at that part so I would say if you take your bike to him just make sure keep on top of following up. He eventually will get back to you. Everything did seem a little pricey, but he does a lot of special work so I get it. I am in the end grateful that Doran was able to fix my son's talaria. He is very smart and definitely has a passion for e-bikes.
