To start, the shop is payed out well with road bikes, mountain bikes, cruisers, and all of the gear you might want. They offer high end products at a reasonable price, and have a fantastic array of bike available. There was some hot tar that splashed onto the bike's Quintana Roo PR 5 frameset, Reynolds Carbon Wheelset, Di2 Groupset Drive train, and Continental tires. Got a quote for $8,112.71 from Rigo stating that the components were all damaged and had to be replaced. The sealant supposedly went into the device and other intricate parts that damaged everything. I had an acquaintance (who is a bike enthusiast and has been working on bikes such as the one being mentioned for 10+ years) take a look at it. All he had to do was use a solvent to remove the tar. Nothing had gone into the frame or system. He took apart the entire bike and examined everything. It just needed some detailing.... read more

Rigo has been nothing but amazing and has always treated me with respect and concern for what I need and what I am trying to achieve with my cycling. He always gives me an honest answer and he is an amazing mechanic. He took care of my wheel change over from through axle to quick release when my wheel manufacturer sent me the wrong wheels. He has helped me out numerous times over and over. Is the best bike mechanic in the valley in my opinion. He is an asset to have in the community. Some bike stores have personal preference and biases that I do not care for or to hear. Rigo has always valued me and my opinions and my needs and I really appreciate that. Lastly he has always hit his due dates when he has my bikes. If he says it is going to be done on a specific day he gets it done on that day. They did so much work on my bike. I was impressed. They took the flat tube and replaced it with a thicker tube and lined it with plastic so that it won't pop as easily. They fixed my basket. They fixed my brakes and my grips. They did it in about an hour. They turned up my bike, too. It was reasonable amount. Much nicer than the one in Menifee. I am hoping that I don't have to come back as often for a flat. I am happy with the work and customer service. read more

My husband and I are in the market for new road bikes and accessories. After all...you can't stop with the bike, you need socks, helmets, shorts, jerseys, water bottles seat bags and supplements, you don't stop with just the bike. On this day my husband was looking for socks and I was looking for jerseys. We walked in and there was one other customer in the store. I strolled to the back of the store where they have the work area, there was one guy working on a bike and we made eye contact but no greeting. I started looking at some of the bikes, checking out the price tags (I hadn't bought MY new bike yet so I was still looking) and looking at the colors. No interest from the guy behind the counter. An older gentleman came in the back door and told the other guy he was taking out the trash and he would be right back. He went out the front door. I lingered at the counter checking the prices of the supplements...still no greeting from the guy working on the bike. At this point...I was ready to leave. My husband was in the back of the store looking at a small selection of socks. I spotted a rack of jerseys so I figured I would take a look...I did have a $2,000 commission check burning a hole in my pocket and I wanted a new jersey! I saw the price tags...$100 and $200 but I didn't care, I just got paid...I was ready to spend. The older gentleman came back in, he paused next to me, looked at me and looked at my husband and STILL DID NOT GREET US OR ASK IF WE NEEDED HELP! At this point...I gave up. I gave them plenty of opportunities to help and greet me. If they don't want my money...they won't get it. They have no idea what they missed out on. I have since bought a $1,400 Trek a $800 Scott and plenty of supplements and supplies over at Jax on Margarita Road. One store to cross off my list...guess my money isn't good enough for them. read more

I have been using Stage 2 for a number of repairs and purchases. Rigo, the Manager/Mechanic has been spot on every time. Great repairs at a reasonable cost and great with advice. This is why I have posted on Yelp for the first time. The other day while waiting for Rigo to finish my bike, two young boys came in with a bike that the rear wheel had come off. One boy was carrying the wheel and the other the rest of the bike. Rigo stopped what he was doing and spent the next 10 minutes fixing the boys bike and sent them out the door with a smile and asked for nothing. Very nice work from our local bike shop! Outstanding local bicycle shop, excellent service and can't say enough about Rigo for all of his excellent help and recommendations. German has been very helpful as well stepping up and assisting every where he can when Rigo is busy or not at the shop. This past summer I started riding bicycles again after a long long break (12 years) due to injury and have brought all of my vintage bikes to Rigo for complete rebuilds. My sons Specialized Allez Epic from the 90s, other sons Austrian Puch with campy from the 70s, my brand new but 20 year old Davidson Signature have all been rebuilt by Stage 2 and are riding like brand new rides.
