It was a great experience! I was a walk-In and they immediately greeted me and took me to the chair to get my nails done. My nails came out wonderfully, and I also had my eyebrows waxed which was very relaxing! I wish that the woman who was doing my nails wasn't on her phone though. I thought it was kind of rude, but other than that she was nice and very kind. I would definitely go here again! read more

Maya did a great job on my nails. I wasn't sure what I wanted and she helped me to decide. We went with dip powder. They aren't thick and fake looking, no lumps. It stayed on and didn't lift. read more

Absolutely awful & way over priced. I got charged $40 for a fill, and at another salon I spent that much to get a full set. My nails are in so much pain after getting my nails done here. The lady dropped the polish brush on the floor in a pile of nail dust and broken old acrylics and didn't even rinse it. It went right back into the bottle. They kept tacking on more money for nothing. I also got charged more for wanting an overlay of acrylic over the whole nail, typically that is included with the fill at other places. If you can go somewhere else, please do. It's not worth it. read more

I've tried this salon several times over last few years....mainly because they take walk ins- they are always busy, but the owner (Vicky) is so rude to customers, complains a lot, seems to be yelling or complaining to other nail techs in a different language- constantly switching people around in seats- moving them from one tech to another - even though I had an appointment - was not seen for 1/2 hour - this always seems to be the case when I've gone there- most of the techs are nice once you get in but for a business owner, she really needs to be a bit nicer to people- I've seen her arguing with customers over their service, what they want etc. I won't go back there again read more

Iv always given this place the benefit of the doubt despite what people have always told me. I do my eyebrows here at least once a month an iv never really had any issues with that. I also usually always do my nails here but it has been a few months since iv gotten them done an when I went in 2 days ago for a full acrylic set it was just a horrible experience. I walked in with my girlfriend an straight away I asked if they do Chrome nails, it's not that new of a trend so when the owner said yes they do I figured it wouldn't be a problem. I always come in with a picture of exactly what I want an it's never anything super complex so I show her the picture she says "OK choose a color from my chrome powders that best match" so I do then she sits me an my friend down an says it will be a couple minutes. They were pretty busy so I wasn't to upset about having to wait I was a little bothered tho because I did call an make an appointment ahead of time. So I waited about 30 min before she started on me and my friend only waited 15 minutes. So they started her first and mind you we weren't able to sit by each other which also kinda bothered me because you go there to relax an talk with your friend. Oh well.. So once mine start she starts asking all of her co workers around her about chrome nails as if she has no idea what she is doing an if u know anything about chrome nails it's just a powder u apply after ur acrylic nails an gel color is on. Well that's not at all what she did she ended up mixing the crome powder into the acrylic powder then adding a bunch of acrylic color to it to make some pinkish color. It was just a mess! Then after she applied the acrylic she then added a gel top coat then rubbed more chrome powder on top needless to say it was nothing like it was supposed to be it was just horrible. I ended up paying 55 dollars which the owner said was the price after her "discount" she was giving me. I payed an left an trust me I will never be returning not even to do my eyebrows it was just such an unpleasant horrible experience an also I ended up being there almost 3 hours!! read more

I cannot believe how rude and disrespectful the owner/manicurist of this establishment is! Not only did she talk non stop on the phone the entire time, she asked me to do something on my phone! She ripped off 5 of my nails when I only wanted a fill and of course charged an extra $5 for that service! Then 6 of my 10 nails are scratched,or chipped. When confronted of these items I was told I was rude and in a bad mood. I could get my money back only if she cut my nails all off or charge me $10 more to change the polish! UNBELIEVABLE!! read more

I go to this place since I moved here in Sparks, in 2010. But since there's a lot of people who come here they don't take time cleaning & sanitizing their foot spas. I acquired a fungal skin disease on my leg. I knew it was from them. And they don't sanitize their tools. The lady who did my manicure insisted that the nipper was new but it wasn't because there was a customer before me from whom she used the same nipper with. So I insisted to sanitize it. I sure hope she did because I did not see it with my own eyes. I guess I need to look for another nail salon to go to. read more

first of all i would like to say that this place has always done quality work, however in my last experience here i was extremely pissed off and will not be returning. my mother is disable due to a stroke a few years ago and doesnt have control of her right hand and does not speak. needless to say she use to do nails as a career many years ago and knows how she likes them, when she showed Vicki (the manager-owner) that she missed a spot while polishing vicki said do mai in vietnemese, which i was married to a viet for many years and can understand the language a bit. it means fuck you. i was angry but did not want to upset my mom so i let her finish and we left. they do speak in their language and most of the time are talking shit about the customers. Vicki if you are reading this you just lost 2 customers and whom ever else i will not be reffering to you read more

I went in today with my best friend. I was getting a pedicure, she wanted a manicure. To start there is zero ventilation in the building so it smelled so bad of chemicals it turned my stomach. They told me to sit and have my pedi started. I waited for nearly 15 mins before anyone came to me. Midway through my pedi my girl was told to set the station up the station for my friend My friend waited 40 mins as others were directed to stations before her, before anyone asked her to go to a station. The quality of my pedi was fine, just disappointed in the customer service. read more

Let me start off with viki the owner is so unprofessional and rude etc. to bad she owns this place where her employees are great I would hate having her as a boss she make you feel like shit she talks about you in her stupid language it's so obvious it's like Viki your business is running because of your costumer that no way to treat them. Don't go here and if you go don't get her do anything to you the other lady's are supper nice. read more

Horrible! I had a gift card so I decided to use it but I'll never go back. It was dirty, they were rude and rushed through my pedicure only to go sit in the break room in the back. My pedicure was horrible and looked so bad that I needed to take the polish off and redo them myself. Awful! I won't be back. read more

I received a coupon to this salon, and since I am new to the area I thought I would take advantage of it. The coupon was $40 for a pedicure & manicure, good until 2013. When I went to pay for my services, they would not honor the coupon. I was told they had to raise their prices because of their higher costs. My total charge with out tip was $45. No big deal money wise, however I will never go back to the salon. That's what brought me to them in the first place. I was a loyal customer to my previous salon...now I will continue to search for a salon here in Sparks that I will be loyal to in the future. read more

If you are looking for a quick pedicure, this is your place. If you are looking for a quality pedicure without feeling rushed, look elsewhere. It's a nail frenzy. They get you in and out in 30 minutes. read more

Vickie and Jolie are awesome! They listen to your needs and are great at Nails. I am always happy when I leave there!

Very busy nail salon. They take everyone that comes in. No one is turned away which is good but can also be annoying because then they tend to rush. I've worn acrylics for years and my last nail tech back in Oregon was AWESOME! When I was getting my fils done here I asked if they could be filed "thin" because I HATE the way acrylics nails look when the nail tech puts on way too much acrylic. I mean I know they're fake but seriously the world doesn't need to know as well. I am not a flashy person and I don't get those glitter tips that is so popular nowadays. Well, she did file them down but not enough even when I asked. My nails afterwards felt bulky and heavy. The nail tech was nice but she was definitely rushed due to the amount of customers that kept pourimg in. I will not be going back. I have started looking for another place in town. Hopefully, I can find one with better success. read more

Beware: don't buy gift certificates at this place. I was given a gift certificate and was not aware they "expire" after 6 months. Apparently this was written in small font at the bottom of the certificate and I was not aware. At two weeks past the date, the owner would not honor it. I suppose I can appreciate policy in some cases, however, they are more concerned with profit than having a loyal, returning customer and making more money in the future. Besides that, they already had the money for the gift certificate. I am fairly new to the area and went for pedicures every 2-3 weeks at my old salon. Now, I will never return to this place because I was treated so rudely regarding the expiration date on the certificate and will spend my time telling everyone I know not to go here. I do not recommend this place because of their horrible customer service. read more

This was a first visit for me in search of a new shop. This will not be it. I made an appointment, but still waited amongst all the other people who walked in. The pedicure was mediocre at best. They don't spend a sufficient amount of time on it, so it isn't worth the cost. When I asked about the appointment, they said they were behind and I needed to wait. No, I will not return. I am willing to spend money to pamper myself, but expect good service when doing so. read more

I have gone here for years its quick and easy when I need then done. But it all depends on who you get, Hannah, and Casey are great I love their work they know your face and remember what you want but the owner Vickie and her " right hand lady" do half ass jobs because they want u In and out don't care about the work at hand all they want is the money, not even a smile on their face! And when you know the language the all speak maybe you shouldn't be talking SHIT about people its hurtful . Trust me I've been to everyone in the salon. And I only trust 2 woman read more

I was in on 10/25 and I came in for a pedi. I have been here before to get my eyebrows done and then I was burned with the wax on my right eyebrow so I stopped going. I was looking at the water fall on the left and my eyes went down to the floor to the rug and all the black dirt in front of the water feature. It was disgusting to see the dust where the power strips are. Once I sat in the chair, I was soaked and in a regular pedi, nails and cuticles are shaped and the rough skin around the nail is trimmed off. This did not happen with me; there was the soak, the scrubbing of the heels and then the exfoliation. There was no cuting/trimming nor was there any "massage". There was the exfoliation and that was it. I wanted a basic french with the lines to be thin, but the tech would ask "thin enough hunny" and I would say no, thinner. After the fourth time I was so frustrated and pushed for time that said it`s fine. I was then sent to the light table and I was in the chair for 25 minutes waiting for POLISH TO DRY!! It doesn't take 25 minutes to have polish dry. There was no attention to me when I was sitting there and I finally had to get up and ask if I can leave. Not to mention, this look 1 & 1/2 hours!! It was horrible and not very relaxing. I will not be back and will not recommend people to visit Beyond Nails because their lack of personalization and customer service. The floors where there are high traffic are clean, but else where is another story. The service is inconsistent and not worth giving a second or third chance. read more

This time i won't be back. I've been in and out of this nail salon for a couple of years. There is no consistency in skills by the technicians. The owner is extremely rude and unwelcoming and my last acrylic fill is the worst by far. The owner must have sat me with a very new nail tech, but who would know since she only speaks to them in Vietnamese in front of you. My nails are thick, lumpy and uneven.......they look like crap, and now after one week, im having to go get another fill. I will never go back to this nail salon again. There are plenty of good ones around town! Pay attention to the ratings, there's a reason for them and for yelp. read more

I tried it there it was ok. I love Salon Galleria next to Costco, and behind the I hop pancakes house. Van is awesome the pedicures are fantastic. Nails there art work is amazing and they don't charge for any designs. I highly recommend Salon Galleria. read more

I have had both very good pedicures and poor pedicures here in the past. This week I went in for a pedicure and it was poor. I was seated in a chair right away, 10 am mid week. This was good. However, the quality of work was poor, nail filing was poor (over filed), massage was weak, and the polish application was very sloppy. I had to request a touch up when she smudged one of my nails putting my flip flops on. I would have thought she would have noticed when she did it. They have raised the price for a spa pedicure to $30. Still pretty cheap. I won't be returning. read more

I've come here twice...with appointments...and both times they still took people before me after making me wait. Wouldn't recommend.

this place sucks. they are very bumpy and you don't get what you ask for. i could have done my own nails better.

I have gotten pedicures here and find them only slightly better than average for those. However, they are getting five stars for the gel nails I got. Sarah did my nails and she a great job! She was nice and friendly and spoke perfect English. After trying out several other places and not be satisfied I am glad I finally found a good nail tech here. read more

Do Not Go Here! They do not clean their tools and I ended up with a horrible nail infection! It was horrible !!!! Also when I was there they would pick and choose who went first based on how people were dressed, etc. I guess they thought they were better tippers or something based on how people looked. Go elsewhere!! read more

My mother in law and I made appointments for pedicures one or two days ahead of time. When we got there, the woman at the front desk, who barely speaks English, didn't even know we had pedicures booked! They got us in quickly, sat therefor 10 minutes with no help and then I started getting my pedicure. My mother in law wasn't even spoken to or helped until my toes were almost done! I was offered nail art, which I accepted, turns out it's an extra $5 for a single flower design! My MIL wasn't offered nail art at all. Once our toes were done they let us dry for 30 minutes!!! We were completed ignored after that, we put our sandals back on ourselves. When we went to check out the lady ASKED us for a tip!! We obviously declined saying that tips need to be earned but the lady answered the phone instead of listening to us. Not even 3 days later my toe polish was already wearing off!! NEVER AGAIN! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!! read more

Beyond Nails is an average nail salon - there is however seldom a wait if you are a walk-in customer with no appointment. The manager/owner at the store is a bit nasty and could use some customer service training! I do see ask for Kasey and she does an excellent job on my nails. No frills but the cost is comparable to most others and the location is a convenience for me. read more

We showed up and it wasn't crowded. It took a while to get three pedis. Once we sat down, two of the three of us didn't get to soak our feet more than 5 mins and the rush was on. Not only was is rushed , didn't get all the nail polish off and painted over specks left on. Also when cutting our nails i asked not short. They just did what they wanted. Then they were sharp edges. I even said not so short. When getting the nail polished we all asked to polish the whole nail and the answer I got was ...because of my cuticles trimmed it's like this. ( no it isn't ! )the massage wasn't a massage. It was throw some lotion on our legs and be done. Such a unpleasant experience! All three of us were so disappointed! Nothing like getting a pedi and being rushed and your person is always looking at the door. Oh and to put my shoes on RIGHT after painting my nails to have to retouch because you are in a hurry for the next client!!! read more

I have been going to Beyond Nails for many years. I know my nails are difficult to work on and with other salons they would be lifting in less than two weeks. Vicki the owner or Jolie are the two that I always go to for a new set or a fill. Not only do they do great work with innovative designs, but my nails stay on for at least three weeks without lifting. Plus, I usually get a lot of compliments from people I meet and they ask me where I get my nails done. I do not hesitate to recommend Beyond Nails. They also do great pedicures and waxing. read more

Well where do I start.... let's just say the OWNER is very UNPROFESSIONAL and actually MEAN spirited!!! I went to her nail shop to get a fill on my nails ...I went in as a walk-in and she said I can do your nails... so I thought wow I've lucked out I have the owner she'll do a great job. As I sat down she looks at me and says that my eyebrows are way too thin and they look bad... my face looks crooked and that she tattoos eyebrows on and would like to do mine ....she proceeds to say I have deep set eyes and she doesn't care if I tip her but she's going to be honest... Now just so you know I never ask for her opinion of my eyebrows nor did I ever say I wanted to get my eyebrows tattooed. During this conversation she starts insulting the customer next to me. So with that said I am going to be real honest about her shop and her ( I don't care if she tips me neither) .... I for one would never get a tattoo. Let alone on my face... but if I were to have my eyebrows tattooed on ..it wouldn't be at a filthy dirty nail salon like hers and with a lady and (I use that word loosely) ...who can't even paint a straight line on my nail. ...Her salon is filthy dirty they do not clean the pedicure bowls out well and there's dust and dirt everywhere ...she's constantly eating ...if anybody needs to get some honest advice she needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and drop a few pounds and put some make up on God wasn't that good to her either!! Also she's not only rude to her customers she's very rude to her nail techs she runs it like a sweatshop. She needs a lesson in professionalism!! Oh and if anybody is even considering getting their eyebrows tattooed on by her be weary!!!!! She has posted right up front no refunds we use the best products even if you have aa allergic reaction... doesn't sound like somebody who guarantees good results.. read more

This place has deteriorated in the last several months. The floors and furniture are dirty. I won't be going back

I've been a customer of Beyond Nails since they opened and have spend thousands of dollars there. I was in this past weekend and was told it would be 10 minutes, which ended up being 30 minutes. The owner started on my nails and was halfway through when she received a text from another customer that she was on the way. I was unceremoniously moved to another technician with the explanation "I know how this woman is". The owner cared more for an incoming customer who apparently could not wait 15-20 minutes than for a long time customer who had waited 30 minutes. I will never go back. read more

Doesn't even deserve one star. They were horrible. My pedi lasted at least 15 minutes, I have nail polish all over my toes. They laughed at me and were very rude when they saw my feet. It was more of a social hour for them than it was them working. They were rude about everything. I felt rushed and will never ever be going back.I am also going somewhere else in a few days so they can fix my pedi. read more

i would NEVER return to this place - i planned a relaxing girls day out experience with my 2 adult daughters...because i dont usually get pedicures i called the business about 3 times to inquire about the different services & different prices as i didnt understand the difference between a "pink & white pedi" - a "gel pedi" and a "pink & white wax pedi".........Vicky (im not sure if she is manager, owner or manicurist) was EXTREMELY rude to me on the phone however for whatever stupid reason i made reservations there anyway........it was the most horrible experience ever...after being in the salon a few minutes i realized how Vicky knew i was the one calling to inquire abouth the different prices/services as they have speaking phone id - vicky accused me of calling her a liar - stupid me kept my word as i had made reservations...after being there less thaan 5 minutes i heard vicky tell one of the manicurist that i thought she was a liar...she thinks i didnt understand this.....so we had the worst pedicure experience ever,....they didnt even paint the ends of my daughter's toes....i was told a pedi cost $27 (june special) and a gel was $7.00 more...WRONG - it cost me $37 per person and i wasnt about to argue over this once we were done as it was very clear that this vicky person would have made a scene i completley understand one google rating experience as she too received very rude treatment and the manager (probably vicky) made an obvious scene in front of customers....the place is loud - tv blaring...manicurists talking constantly to each other in their own language (which im used to but this was one manicurist talking to another manicurist 5 seats away)..again - HORRIBLE experience - dont waste your money....they certainly didnt ruin my day with my girls, tho - i wouldnt allow anyone to do that...i just learned a hard lesson - read more

I frequented this "salon" for over a year. My nail/pedi person was actually awesome, but she finally disappeared, so I tried someone new. The worst pedi ever, and it cost me 45$. The calluses were still on my feet, the polish peeled in two days, and to top it off, I got a PLANTER'S WART on my foot! One week after the pedi, the pain started and continued for a month until the damn thing came to a head, and I had it frozen off. The foot Dr said it was the HPV virus that comes from unsanitary cleaning of the foot baths. One of the most painful things ever, and I have to have it frozen AGAIN which hurts like HELL! I don't do public showers, and live alone, so it came from this place. After thinking about how little sanitary cleaning is done, I have moved on to Paris Nails, who use liners in their foot baths. Lesson learned - saving a few bucks is ridiculous if it means you might get one of these horrible things on your foot! read more
