Best hidden pedicures in the valleys always able to work you in and they do great work

I don't often get my nails done but have been needing some self care! I asked my friend to join me and we made an appointment for pedicures. When we arrive for our appointment we got in right away and didn't have to wait. The pricing was kind of high and I don't think the pedicure was worth it. We both got the deluxe pedicure. Our massages both were extremely short and I would have considered it an express or basic and at most would have paid $35, it was $55! The paint job was done well. read more

This is still my favorite go to for pedicures I have been coming here for about 3 years now, and have seen them really upgrade their services, as well as the equipment. I came in today , and they have new chairs that are absolutely wonderful I really enjoy how accommodate they are, as well as welcoming and caring. I have tried a few other places here and there, and always keep coming back. I usually do the detox pedicure. Today I went to get a pedicure. Service was normal just a bit of small conversation. The massage was decent. But once she started to paint my nails that's when it all went bad it seemed like a little kid did the work there were a bunch of bumps and missing areas with nail polish. I had to point out a lot of details that she had missed also I had nail polish al over my feet. I'm so unsatisfied with the work she did I'm even embarrassed to wear sandals. we got here and had to wait 30 minutes then the lady doing my pedicure didn't take off the previous gell on my toes and worked over it so now they are all lumpy and uneven. and there is also gell polish all over my feet and not on my toes. read more

Extremely disappointed. I've been coming here for 3 months. The last fill I got done 5 nails lifted. Okay so i come back today and get a pedicure and full set. I kid you not I'm in there from 10:30-1:30 (3 hours). The lady did my pedicure so quick and they kept trying to upsale me then I had to sit and wait for nails to be done for 30 mins. Then the guy took 2 hours to do a new set on my nails and they look terrible. Not only that when I was checking out he tried to charge me $50 for a plain gel set when every single time I've come in it's been $45. Tiny shop. Had an appointment but they accept walk ins. Not a very clean shop, the bathroom was a hot mess. She did a great job on my nails with my guidance of what I wanted. Over all, I would go again because the location is close to my home and she was done with my fill start to finish in 45 minutes. I have been here twice. First time wasn't too bad. They offer a lot for a reasonable price. Second time was awful. I was with my mom who wanted to get a gel pedicure. I don't get gel during the winter because I don't wear flip flops during the winter - imagine that! The lady doing my pedicure WOULD NOT LET IT GO. She kept saying, "You sure you don't want gel? She's getting gel. You need gel. Gel lasts longer. Come on get the gel." Seriously like 5-10 minutes of this. No is no. To top it off she was rough as hell and painted my nails sloppily. I'm so sorry I didn't give you the $ for gel. I can take the annoyance about the gel, but taking it out on me because I didn't get it- is ridiculous. Pedicures made in HEAVEN!!! The staff are so friendly, interactive, and joking. They have multiple options from basic to deluxe, with 5 different scents for you're tailored deluxe experience. It is with great sadness that I write my review. I have been coming here for about three years. I was fairly regular for a while and then took a break for about a year and then returned. To begin, like my 5-star ratings, I take my 1-star ratings very seriously and unfortunately this is my second one of the day. The last few months, service and quality has declined immensely. On one occasion two months ago, I asked if the nail tech could do special nail art for Autism Awareness. I gave her four choices and rather than tell me she could not, she chose one design and got to work. She rushed through my fill, making the nails uneven with one set of nails longer than the other hand. She started the designs and I didn't want to be rude so I let it go. After staring at them overnight, I was so embarrassed that I went back the next day, paid an additional $10 to have them remove the design and repaint the nails. My husband's pedicures declined as well. On more than one occasion, he asked them to take care on an ingrown toenail. One was done so horribly that he had to wait an extra three months for it to heal properly. He nearly had to go to the doctor to have it surgically fixed. When we finally went back, primarily due to the fact we have limited options in the North Valleys, I flat out asked if they had time for my fill and husband's pedicure. If she had said they were booked, we would have just gone to run errands and went back later. We did not have appointments after all. However, one of the techs stated "15 minutes." Stupidly we waited, knowing it is their standard response EVERY TIME. After 20 minutes, we got up to leave and by some miracle, a spot opened up. I informed them we were tired of waiting and we were done. Between the substandard work and consistent over-promising and under-delivering, I'm glad to drive extra to find a salon that will give me what I pay for...and not constantly trying to upsell me on services when they are incapable of handling the services we paid for. read more

Horrible. My nails started chipping the next day. The pedicure was $45 with no massage. My pedicure ended up with my nail being so sore for 3 days after. Literally 3 of my fingernails were bleeding. Went in for a full set. It's close to home and the reviews looked good. Great service, everyone was really nice. Was offered a mimosa or water when I walked in. Pretty clean. Sub par nails. I'm pretty sure girl they had prep my nails and glue my tips wasn't licensed. The lady who finished my gels pointed out to her the correct way to check length and trim. About 90% of the tips weren't glued down all the way, I didn't notice till I left. A lot of the nails are chuncky/uneven. But the number one thing was the cuts to my cuticles. Nothing makes me more pissed off then spending money to leave a nail shop bleeding. Maybe I'm spoiled by growing up in SF, I duno. This was my first time here, I had recently moved to the area. I normally spent around $35 for a full set, non gel and $30 for a deluxe pedicure with gel. I was told it was $55 for pedicure with gel and $45 for a full set with gel. I then looked at their prices and saw it was $30 for a full set and $40 for a deluxe pedicure. It was going to be an extra $15 for gel for each service. I have never been charged $15 for gel before. I think that is too much for gel so check the prices before you get your nails done. Other than the pricing, my nails look great. I hope they will last and not break off. read more

Ok, so I'm a "no frills" kinda girl--I mean, I've never even had a spa pedicure. BUT, I was in need of some major "me time" this weekend, so I popped on over to J&B on Sunday at around 4pm just to see if I might be able to get a quick gel manicure done to help boost my spirits. I was the only patron in the shop, which was nice because I received the full undivided attention of both the owner and her assistant. They were kind enough to advise me of a discount if I opted for the mani/pedi combo, and even though I hadn't shaved my legs in over two weeks, they were totally willing to work with me. Why not? An hour later, I'm in spa heaven! Mimosas are flowing, my prickly legs are getting the full-on massage treatment, and my fingernails are looking super cute and spring-like. What's more, I'm completely blown away by how inexpensive my visit is--less than $60 for both! I'll definitely be returning soon, thanks J&B! read more

My girlfriend and I just got pedicures here and it was definitely the worst one I've had in a long time. She left scratched all on the side of my leg from the "deluxe" scrub, neither technician paid any attention to us, poor customer service, and I didn't even want the deluxe but was hauled into it after saying regular 3 times. Will not be going back and truly wanted to walk back in and request a refund. Would not recommend for the price. read more

I was looking for a new place to go, I was a walk in. There were 2 men getting pedicures. Van took in right away. The place is very clean. My complaint is right off she Knick my thumb and it starts to bleed. I was there around half hour, I thought that was really quick. 3 days later my one nail bubbled up and peeled, it was so sticky. A few of my other nails were not smooth at all. I just wished people cared about there work. Won't be going back. $50.00 is to much for your nails to look like crap. read more

Both times I have never had to wait more then 5 minutes before seeing a technician. I had a look around and decided to take my girlfriend to the J & B Nail Spa. Hearing from some positive reviews we had a good impression going in, but leaving left a sour taste in our mouths. A design was shown to the nail artist. The color was proper, but the shape was completely off from the request, and the lady that did her nails also rushed putting on the nail glue, which ended up bringing the nails off just hours later. I had to end up going to another Salon to get them fixed, which they did a much better job with the picture shown. The entire process was rushed and aggressive with little care to the customers request. I hope in the future the lady's working here will put more care into their customers interests, and more care into their work as it all seemed rushed and overly expensive. $55 Wasn't even there 20 minutes before they try to get customers out the door. read more
