Made an appointment for 1:45, and arrived on time. The stylist took a walk in and told me I would need to wait. (no apologies, just told me she was taking the other client first) She spent an entire 13 minutes on the my son's cut. Then after we got home, the cut was beyond bad, chunky, uneven, and definitely not worth $40. I was forced to come back to get the cut evened up and repaired. No apologies about the horrible cut, and a unpleasant attitude about having to fix it. Blamed the bad cut on "messy hair" when I arrived, not lack of ability and professionalism on her part. Bad customer service their areas not clean is not sanitize , they don't wear no mask. Or any body who works there and there Customers service is very bad . I needed a haircut badly. My own barber is so far away. I decided to take a chance here. I asked if they do flattops. They do military haircuts. I met a lovely woman named Alicia. She did a great job. The only thing i missed was the straight razor for the back and sideburns. But she took care of those with an electric razor. I will go back and it is much closer to home. You know for a small place and it being the only one is stead area it isn't too bad much he price is nice however the fact that there's hardly anyone working here doesn't faze me too much, however I do like the service people are nice and courteous. Last time I went in there the haircut was clean, the place itself is clean as well. Walked in at 2pm on a Thursday. No waiting. Hair cutter was friendly. The cut was done very quickly and looked good. She cut my hair to my request. I was surprised I was already done (15 minutes, maybe). Definitely recommend it for men who are looking for military style haircuts. Nice to have a hair cutter in Stead. read more

This place has some potential, especially since it's the only one in Stead. But it's always understaffed. Always. They have decent prices but the wait is horrendous. It seems like they don't account for higher traffic times and days. I want to keep coming back but the wait in this place is unbearable especially when your waiting in line and "appointments" come in. And plus, they once had a card punch program for a free haircut and the manager stopped accepting the cards 3 or 4 months later. She just stopped taking them. You should at least phase them out and honor the ones that have been punched. The place is pretty clean but I was very disappointed in the manager when she just stopped taking these cards on everyone that was accumulating punches. I had 5 punches and they just said they were not taking them anymore. I've seen others get turned down as well. It's ridiculous how they handled that promotion and should have never have had it to begin with. Also, as usual, they charge .50 cents for each ATM transaction. This is ridiculous. I don't use cash and most people prefer not to use cash. I'm sick of merchant off putting their costs onto consumers because they choose to use a safer form of payment which is plastic. What's ridiculous is that .50 cents on a $12 haircut is more than what the bank charges. Charging to use a credit/debit card is bull shit and they're going to lose customers because of it. In fact, just call your card company and tell them the merchant charged you to use a card and it will be reversed because it's against their user agreements as merchants. These merchants forget that there IS a cost of doing business and you can't just defer it all on the customer. Please hire more people and have them work on your busy days. Please entertain these recommendations and my rating will increase accordingly. read more
