What a gem of a place. I've been driving past Etavele for years now and each time I always think to myself, "I should check them out." Well, I finally did and I'm so happy about it. Everyone that I've met has been great. I've had the dermaplane facial and also had an appointment with the owner, Christa yesterday. She's personable, skilled, and I look forward to having this spa as my place to go for my skincare needs. They also offer mani/pedi's - I met the woman, Crystal (I think that's her name) who does them when I was in the waiting room and she was extremely friendly too. We had a chat about my favorite LV bag that I had that day. I also can't wait to try their massage services. Overall, I'm mad at myself for waiting so long to finally check it out. Lesson in all of this: Don't be like me and wait years. :) read more

My first visit to this Sparks spa. It is at the intersection of York and Pyramid and easy to locate. I arrived a little early as it was my first visit and I was immediately greeted by a very nice lady and offered a drink. She also messaged Sarah to let her know that I had arrived. It is a very cute location with several different services. Sarah is a very sweet, kind, knowledgeable young woman. I had never had this service before so I didn't know what to expect but Sarah put me immediately at ease and explained the procedure and when I was ready, we began. She has a very gentle touch and I was very comfortable throughout as she explained everything that she was doing. I find this location lovely and the people are extremely kind and I will be returning next month for another appointment. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for spa services as there are several different services available. read more

The owner, Christa, reached out to me after my last appointment to discuss my experience and how they can improve their services. I have never had someone do this and I definitely believe this a great way to keep customers and have them coming back. I was given a refund for the tint on my last appointment because there was no drastic change from my original lashes. Christa then invited me to come back for a redo of my lash lift and tint. On the day of the appointment, Christa greeted me. She was so kind and I can tell she wanted me to have a better experience than the first time. The person doing my lashes this time was Rosa. She was amazing and professional! Rosa used extra lighting to help her see my lashes better, a face shield, and a fan to decrease the drying time during the appointment! As Rosa, put on the the piece under and above my eye, she did not have to readjust multiple times and it was on so smoothly on her first try. She was also really gentle throughout the whole process. I was really tired, so I fell asleep five minutes into the process. When I woke up, she was almost done. Just drying the lashes with a fan. When looking at the mirror, there was a big difference from what I expected the first time I came in. All the lashes throughout was evenly lifted, and A LOT more lifted compared to the first time. I can tell they were darker from the tint too! This was everything I expected it to be! Rosa walked me out to be checked out. Everyone at the front desk were really nice. I even received a small gift with samples! I would definitely recommend Rosa if you want a lash lift and tint! I just wanted to thank Christa for reaching out to me and gave me the opportunity to have a better lash lift and tint experience. Everything you did showed me how much passion you have for this field. Thank you! read more

I am a huge fan of Etavele Day Spa. The owner is an esthetician herself so she understands the client experience and the products and everything in between. I've actually been a client of Christa's for years, long before she opened Etavele. I go regularly for waxing, facials and massage and have nothing but great experiences there. I've been particularly impressed by how diligent they have always been about cleanliness but especially since reopening after Covid hit. They have systems in place that always let me feel safe and comfortable. read more

Amazing service. I had microdermabrasion and my skin has never felt better. The wonderful lady who helped me hooked me up with a ton of samples and I even but some full sized products because of their amazing quality. I will be returning for more appointments in the future. I went on a Saturday and there was barely anyone there in the afternoon. I got in and out and this appointment for perfectly into my daily schedule. The location was incredibly clean and high quality. It also smelt very fresh because of the natural oil infusers going. Great experience, very pleased. read more

I absolutely love this place. The customer service was out of this world. Cynthia and Jessica were true angels for my friend's first facial and both had hands made of clouds. It's was such a beautiful experience and I will 10000% recommend and drag every friend that is willing to listen to me over for a service. Fair pricing, incredible staff, and most importantly they care about how you feel walking out. Super glad to have found my spa :) read more

I saw Jame and she was awesome! Super easy to work with, knowledgeable, and pro. I'm definitely coming back.

Was a first timer here and not local to the area. Don't typically pamper myself but thought I'd give it a try. Etavele was very professional yet down to earth and welcoming. Received a pedicure and facial. Carla did my facial and was very thorough and sweet and fun to engage with. Prices were very reasonable for the effort and attention to detail that was given for the services Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Reno/Sparks area. read more

Beautiful relaxing space, lovely music, excellent products and state of the art equipment all in the incredibly gifted hands of a master esthetician. Review update! So excited to tell you about Etavele Day Spa! Christa, The Skin Care Girl, has joyfully, for all of her very happy clients, expanded her business! I believe you will love your experience here as well. Enjoy!! I have another great experience at Etavele to tell you about. I had the pleasure of having Becky Bailey cut my hair and I'm so happy! I was recommended this place after my previous salon had to cancel my wax appt and had no availability the same weekend. I booked with Laura for a full leg wax, but I came in and was told that she was out for an emergency. Sarah stepped in to do my wax and I'm honestly not sure the last time she waxed someone. Yes, my hair is gone (for the most part, there are some stragglers which is fine), but she would rip the same areas multiple times. Certain patches around my ankles are raw and she claimed that she didn't pull the same area multiple times because she wasn't laying new wax? That doesn't matter if you're sticking down the freshly ripped cloth with wax and ripping over and over again. Honestly, such a waste of $40, I'll just stick to shaving from now on. read more

Since I moved to Nevada it has been a challenge to find a good nail shop or technician. I would like to say I have found her. However I will still be looking further into another one. Very lovely girl that did my nails also the only one there licensed to do so. I am feeling so so about my nails. I am happy to have them done but the shape could be a little better and yes she asked me if they were ok to me, however I just agreed realizing how long I was in there I didn't want to be in there longer. My jewels I got have fell off but I could go back she would fix them she said I do think me driving that far would justify it. By the time came to clean the area she was working in , she blew all the dust in my face . I can't say it was on purpose just not sure if she was thinking about what way she blew it ?? But my biggest thing with the appointment was that in the beginning she was itching her nose with her bare hands and was proceeding to touch my hands while doing so . With everything that is going around I think hygiene should be important.. read more

Made an appointment for an eyebrow wax. The place is super cute and smells amazing. Very calming and relaxing. I was asked if I wanted my eyebrows cleaned up or shaped. I like my eyebrow shape so I opted for a clean up since I had been growing out my brows and my last esthetician did a great job on shaping my brows the last year or so. But now my eyebrows are uneven, too short and way skinnier than when I walked in. I honestly hadn't realized how bad they were until my boyfriend asked "what happened to your eyebrows?" So as cute and relaxing as this place was she totally messed up my eyebrows. Definitely won't come back unfortunately. read more

I have been going to Etavele Day Spa every month for almost 2 years now as a religious waxer. You walk in as a customer, and walk out feeling like you just made a new friend. They have always been respectful and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and to provide top notch service. I should have created this review years ago, purely so others would know about this gem in Sparks. What got me to finally sit down and write the review is Recently they started laser hair removal. I was VERY hesitant, as I had this service done elsewhere, and it hurt 100 times more then waxing. The owner convinced me to give her new laser a try, and I have been "OVER THE MOON" pleased with not only the darn near pain free experience, but the results as well. I will be adding on more areas in the future for hair removal, and I recommend more then ever if you need laser, GO TO ETAVELE. Christa has the magic touch, and the best laser I've experienced. PS--don't forget to tack on a massage or facial as well! They rock at everything ;) read more

I've had a rough year like many people and needed an updated skincare routine. I wanted something more affordable than these other spas I've looked into. I had an appointment with Cynthia and it was so wonderful! The atmosphere, the time she took to listen to my needs or concerns. It truly was an amazing experience and I am so excited to go back! read more

I have been Christa's client for almost ten years! Etavele is her business baby and she puts so much into making it the wonderful experience that it is. The spa is so clean, comfortable, relaxing and inviting. I never feel pushed to buy product, Christa educates and then lets you decide your purchases (the products smell so good though they are hard to resist!). I happily drive from South Reno to go to Etavele, it is so worth the drive to enjoy an hour with Christa! read more

I've been going to Christa for 10 years! She's never done me wrong. Whether it was a brow wax, Brazilian wax, or leg wax it was wax pain, but went away rather quickly. She always makes sure my skin is hydrated and if requested, covers up my redness with makeup. She's also given amazing facials as well! I also saw Michelle for a very relaxing shoulders, neck and head massage. If it wasn't for Christmas dent, I'd be back sooner rather than later! I love that she asks the type of pressure and is very detailed on where you feel your tension. I've never been good with pain, but her encouragement to breathe through the pain helped a lot and I felt more relaxed! Lastly, I've gotten my pedicure with Sarah and got my first gel pedi. First, the pedicure was a callous remover pedicure and my feet felt so incredibly soft after. It's been awhile since they were quite that soft! They weren't nasty, just not soft as they could be! I've now booked her as my normal every 6 weeks girl! It's nice to be 1:1 with your technician, but only thing I'd change is to have more than one chair so a friend and I can get a pedi together. read more

Donna does a great job, very peaceful and relaxing, no complaints. I had a hot stone massage which was fabulous.

This was my second haircut by Jamee and I couldn't be happier. She really understood what I wanted. I randomly found this place several months ago and booked an appointment. 10/10 would recommend Etavele. The name is Elevate backwards and their goal is to elevate their clients. I've been going to Nichole for a few months now and she does a great job at waxing!
