I've never had anyone else do my eyebrows. I have always been a tweezing do-it-yourselfer. After a baby and working 60 hr weeks for months on end, let's say the eyebrows were neglected. I thought it the perfect time for someone to have a enough growth to shape something complimentary to my face. Sarah was the one! I found her on yelp, and she was wonderful. Not as painful as I was expecting - and she was quick and helpful with tips on eyebrow makeup. Will return when they need a re-do. read more

Pretty Parlor - Love the brows. Thank you ! - Hair Salons Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Sarah is soooo amazing! Go see her. The products used, care given, and vibe the entire time are so relaxing.

Micro blading eyebrow services: I went to Pretty Parlor back in early 2018 to get my eyebrows microbladed. They cost a pretty penny as microbladed eyebrows do. My qualm with their service is that I was told they pigment they were using was semi permanent and would fade after a couple years. This is what made me comfortable to have the service done.Fast forward 3 years and the eyebrow pigment is still on my skin. This is so unfortunate because not only was I not particularly happy with the placement and shape of the eyebrows but now it seems I am stuck with them forever. I never would have had this service done if I knew they were akin to tattooing my face. I contacted Pretty Parlor and was told they should have been faded by now-and if not they would be gone by spring this year. Spring has come and they're not budging. I am so dissatisfied that I am stuck with these on my face for life. read more

I love these ladies. They're all so sweet and welcoming! Their location is cute and small, I love it. I get overwhelmed in crazy chaotic salons where it feels like they give you a standard cut then shove you out the door. Pretty parlor is personal, you really feel like the attention is on you when you're in there. I've been getting my hair done by Ivy for about a year now, and I plan to stay with her as long as she's in Reno! My hair was a disaster and she saved it. I had her cut most of it off recently, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, she knew exactly what I wanted. I trust her completely. She gets me :) I highly recommend her if you're looking for a natural blonde look. read more

I'll start with the obvious; brows are everything. Finding an aesthetician who you can trust with your brows is soooo important and if there's one piece of advice I can give everyone-- it's go to Sarah for your brows!!!! I'm never ever going to anyone else besides her for all of eternity because I'm in LOVE. I recommended a friend after I got mine done and she said she had never been so impressed with her brows too! Not only are the brows amazing-- I've gotten a facial AND my hair done at the pretty parlor and i couldn't be happier with any of my experiences. If you're looking for a great hair cut/color-- Dena is just amazing phenomenal. She took me from a platinum blonde to a gorgeous chocolate brown in one sitting and I was just blown away. I recommend this cute parlor to anyone and everyone! read more

I decided to put my fear aside and come here to get my eyebrows done and I'm glad I did. I absolutely love my brows done by Sarah and already set up another appointment to get them done again with her. I will definitely be coming here to get them done for as long as I can! read more

Have been going to PP for 4 years. I travel two hours each way since the services are the ultimate! I highly recommend them!

Love this place. Hannah is so wonderful! I have been going there for about 7 months. I get my hair colored and cut there. I followed her from the other salon.I just moved to South Reno from another state and never been to Midtown before I started going to Hannah. It is just a cute area. What is really great about Pretty Parlor is booking all of my appointments online. read more

I booked an appointment online and when I showed up I waited outside for 20 minutes, called, knocked, and nothing. When someone finally came to the door, they had no idea what I was talking about. Why allow me to book an appointment online (as suggested) and then Not honor my appointment? Extremely disappointed read more

I love the decor and location. Katie tinted and waxed my eyebrows and it was a game changer! I am completely obsessed. I haven't had anyone touch my eyebrows but myself for about 10 years. I don't trust people easily when it comes to my brows. Katie was absolutely adorable and kind, and my eyebrows were perfect! She isn't wax happy, she left them as full as possible. Easy to schedule an appointment. I won't go anywhere else. read more

I'm so glad that they followed me on Instagram because Sarah is AMAZING! I have been getting facials from Sarah for awhile now and I can totally say I WOKE UP LIKE THIS! Not only is she amazing with facials, but with brows! I seriously bit the bullet because I didn't think I could trust anybody with my brows, but let me tell you, this is one relationship that I don't think is going to end anytime soon! GO SEE SARAH FOR YOUR BEAUTY NEEDS!! read more

My eyebrows are perfect every time! I like that they won't wax certain hair and are honest because they want to help you grow into the shape you want naturally and I've completely thrown away my tweezers after going here they're so goid read more

What a hidden gem in Reno! I see Alyssa, she's the fastest hairstylist I've ever been to. I usually have to bring my kid/kids with me and it's never a problem because she's so fast. Her highlights are perfect and she does a dry haircut which is different than I've had before. The salon is so stylish and all the staff are very friendly. Parking is easy, at least during the week. Sarah knows how to pick great talent! Thank you Alyssa for great hair. read more

So this was my first experience here, I haven't let anyone touch my hair other than my mother and grandmother (cosmos out of state). Now that I live too far away I have been in need of a very reliable and talented stylist (who isn't scissor happy). I was very reluctant to go to someone, however this stylist came highly recommended by another stylist. Allyssa has blown me away, she first asked me how I preferred my hair cut (wet or dry)? Dry was my preference, she took me to the bowl, washed, massaged, then dried my hair. She cut it perfectly, being that it had been about two years since my last one, my hair needed more TLC than I expected. She truly transformed my locks and made a masterpiece! I've never been so thrilled about my hair, even the way she styled it. All in less than 45 minutes!!! Sorry not sorry mom and gma, Allyssa is my new girl! read more

5 stars across the board! Hannah is an amazing hairdresser with a terrific attitude! It has taken me 2 years and countless bad hair cuts and colors to find a place that offers every little thing I was looking for! The shop it's self is so clean and nice, I can not think of a better name for the place than Pretty Parlor! They offer so many awesome services all in one shop. I'm so happy to have such a skilled hairdresser to return to. I walked out of the Pretty Parlor looking better than i have in so long!!! Thank You Hannah!! I should also add that the web sight is great and you can book on line, and find prices and general info. read more

I went to go see Katie M. to do a brow wax. I have been going to the same aesthetician for years up at the lake - since relocating, I needed to find someone local. I was a little nervous changing up, but Katie did an awesome job. I told her what exactly I wanted and didn't want - and she handled with care! She took her time waxing, trimming and shaping - they even tint at Pretty Parlor too! I decided to try it (for the first time) and my brows looked awesome, it is my newest addiction. Katie's sweet and spunky personality in addition to the super stylish, vintage, chic atmosphere/decor was a really pleasant time. Happy to have found my new brow gal! read more

I was so excited to get my hair done here but all I ended up with was a terrible baylayage (actually just orange stripes in my hair) and burned a huge hole in my pocket. My hair was extremely healthy before and even with a deep conditioning treatment my hair was destroyed. I thought since I was paying a lot I would end up satisfied but instead I ended up crying for two weeks about how hideous my now orange hair looks. read more

I've been getting my brows done here for awhile now and today I just tried Sugar Waxing! It's a gentler form of waxing and it was awesome for people with sensitive skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and I left with barley any redness. I recommend this to everyone!!! I loved it read more

Got a fabulous facial from Katie!! It was my very first one ever and it was fantastic! Will definitely go again and highly recommended!
