She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She has products on site and also has a wealth of knowledge of other products depending on what price point you're looking at. The room has a wonderful spa vibe. Very professional and easy to talk to. She uses high end wax and makes that experience as painless as it can be. Previous client was leaving while owner was inviting me in. I do not even think she changed the head towel between us clients. Owner had me lay on an old bedspread that was certainly not changed between clients for goodness knows how long. All the owner did was repeatedly rub a greasy mixture over my face for 45 minutes. The owner asked me dozens of personal questions and I felt obligated to answer to be polite. While I was answering her questions she kept getting the greasy mixture on my teeth and I still have a chemical taste in my mouth despite the fact that I rushed home to rinse my mouth out with mouth wash a half dozen times. The owner made a production of asking for medical paperwork to be filled out prior to the appointment and never even mentioned this paperwork despite the fact that I do have medical conditions. I have had hundreds of facials in my life and this was by far the worst. It was not refreshing or relaxing and I actually feel a bit traumatized. Not sure how or why the owner has received such glowing recommendations from so many people. If she doesn't want new clients she probably should just say that she is not accepting new clients at this time. I am simply baffled at how ridiculous the entire experience was. I received appointment reminders which included an intake form. I was looking for a local aesthetician and came across Envy Skin and decided to give it a try. I reached out to Kristin before I booked anything and asked a couple questions. I booked the February special since I couldn't decide what to start with. Kristin is so sweet and knowledgeable and really provides an amazing facial. She asked about my questions about me and my skin and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The facial was great and I already booked my next appointment. After talking about skin goals I booked my first micro needling appointment (will have 3 every 4 weeks). Kristin has a cute little space inside of Simplique Spa and Salon Suites. The space is clean and relaxing and conveniently located in south Reno. I booked a 1/2 leg wax and having never had one before, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. Kristin was incredibly sweet and bubbly and made the process really easy. This place is great and Kristen does a great job at making you feel at ease and super relaxed! It is weirdly located, but once you know where it is, it's very easy to get there. This place is located in the athletic club at damonte. It's literally inside the gym! The services she provides is very affordable to not break the bank. This was my first visit and I definitely will be back once I am in need of another personal retreat. During this visit, I got a facial and a keratin lash lift. The facial was very relaxing and she did a great job at explaining everything that she was putting on my face. My skin felt the most hydrated I had ever experienced and had a youthful glow to it for days after. I didn't know what to expect when it came to the keratin lash lift, but I'm glad I did it. I suffer from a thing called itty bitty lash syndrome and this definitely revitalized my eye lashes. Not only were they super soft now but had a beautiful curl to them and it almost seemed like magic but somehow my itty bitty lashes became long lashes. Don't let the location (inside a gym) fool you. It was a very peaceful environment. First time getting a facial and I chose the "tailored facial" I was immediately amazed at the glow my skin had. I am writing this post one day after service and my skin still feels awesome. She is taking all COVID precautions. For the time being, you do need to wear a mask into the gym until you are in her private studio area. I thought it was so kind that she texted next day to check on me since I had some extractions during the facial. She is very professional and prompt. This is my 2nd time going to Kristin, and i am so glad i decided to go to her for my first facial experience. My first treatment was an express acne facial, i had originally booked the full facial, but i was pressed on time; Kristin was super understanding and customized it according to the time i had. Just with that first session, i noticed a difference. My face was a bit red and swollen after some extractions, but Kristin texted me the next day to check up on how my skin was doing, which i greatly appreciated! After the redness and whatnot went away, i was left with glowy skin. A month later and i got the full acne facial experience. Kristin explained what each step was and how it worked. I was super relaxed and happy at the end of the session. She also provided me with some samples of the products she used (which smell incredible), also to note, i have super sensitive skin, and none of the products she used on me irritated my skin nor broke me out.
