I met Michon through my son's girlfriend. Her hair color always looked lovely. I had been seeing a stylist for some time prior who did not seem to understand color. The final straw was when I wound up before Thanksgiving 2011 with orange hair! Michon assessed my hair, and set up an evening appointment for me the following day. She managed in one appointment to get the blonde hair color closer than my previous stylist had in 2 years ! She is dedicated to her clients and goes the extra mile and then some to make sure they leave satisfied . I am always proud to go out when she is done doing my hair . I feel pretty when I step out of the salon. I also feel uplifted and relaxed after an appointment with Michon. She makes my appointment about me , and this is refreshing after years of going to a place that overbooked and the stylist could not focus on one client at a time as a result. Michon is a perfect balance of professional and personable. She is also a Woman of integrity. I admire her for continuing education in her industry to keep up with ever changing trends. I was in Reno visiting my brother and his family. I asked my sister-in-law if she knows a good hair stylist. Luckily she knew the best hair stylist ever, Michon Kessler in Studio M. I showed up to my appointment armed with picture of a haircut that I wanted. Michon looked at the picture, and we talked about what I like to do with my hair which is basically the least amount of effort possible. We also talked about highlighting my hair and the color that I wanted. I had lots of grey and my roots were all out. Michon gave me the best haircut and the best highlight I have ever had. I go to a very expensive and fancy hair stylist in Santa Monica and what Michon did was so much better than what I get in Santa Monica. I am seriously thinking about flying to Reno every six months to have Michon do my hair. Since coming back to LA, I have received many many compliments about my hair cut and hair color and all I have to do with my hair is wash it and blow dry it not even using a brush. Michon is a talented and conscientious hairdresser. I first went to her nearly 20 years ago, when we both lived in another town. When I moved to Reno, I was so sorry that she would not be here to do my hair. About two years later, she moved here as well, and I couldn't wait to turn my locks back to her skilled hands. Michon is very creative and has an artistic talent that she uses in her craft. Now my husband goes to her, my sister goes to her, and my brother-in-law goes to her.
