First time trying this Salon and I will not be going Back. I I was in a rush to find an appointment and I went with whatever I could book online before the weekend. I found this place I booked an appointment for today with Lorena. I wanted a highlight touch up on my roots, when I booked online it quoted me $65 which I was thinking wow that's an amazing deal so I was excited for the price, my confirmation email also said that my appointment would be $65. I showed up to my appointment at 11am, the process was really slow, it took about 2 1/2 for the hair stylist to do my highlights. My head was being ripped on the whole time and my head was getting sore. As she was washing the bleach out and shampooing/conditioning she kept ripping on my hair as well. We finally got through that and it was time to blow dry. My hair was so knotted from the lack of conditioner to make it smooth. She was pulled so much of my hair out on the brush from it getting caught and tangled. Twice she had to pull my hair off of the brush and throw it in her trash can. After finishing up she curled my hair which looked great, the highlights also look great but the lack of gentleness was brutal. When it was time to go it was almost 3pm at this time. I was expecting to pay $65. I asked how much I owed her and she said $220. My jaw dropped. I saw umm... ok well I only have $100 cash on me I guess I'll have to leave and get more. I showed her a screenshot of my original booking with her and the confirmation email that stated my appointment would cost $65. She said she didn't understand why it said that and that it was wrong but she will just charge me $175 instead. I had to drive 30 mins back home to get the extra cash and bring it back to her. It was the absolute worst salon experience I've ever had. My head has been throbbing from the amount of hair I've had pulled out today. read more

Leslie exceeded my expectations with my hair. I booked her for a consultation, cut, and color. The consultation gave us ample time to discuss what I wanted to do in the span of time Leslie allowed for my session with her. So PRO TIP: BOOK A CONSULTATION; it give you and your person time to discuss what you wish to do and what can be done. She definitely succeeded on giving me the wolf/shag cut. Lana Taylor did a great job with a cut and color. I normally don't like dyeing my hair but she made me feel comfortable about it. I have very sensitive skin, so she found a way to ensure the bleach wouldn't burn my skin. She turned my hair into a very vibrant blue that held up for a long time. Jenell has been fantastic! I just moved to Reno and had a half grown out asymmetrical bob with an undercut that needed some serious help. I wanted to grow it out into an a-line bob and pretty much expected to have an awkward in-between style that I would just have to live with until the undercut got long enough to work with. Instead, I love the cut so much I may not even grow it into another style. She was also wonderful about getting me back in to make a little change to the initial cut when I wasn't super sure about it. The salon itself is clean, with fun modern decor and a great atmosphere. OVERPRICED LASH EXTENSIONS DONE BY 20 YEAR OLD STRAIGHT OUT OF BEAUTY SCHOOL. Highly recommend not going to this salon for eyelash extensions. I went to Kayden for a full set of hybrids and paid $150 for them ($40 off for "Valentine's Day special) and the same day after getting them done about an hour later I messaged her letting her know I did not like them one bit and asked if she could fix them. She then told me she was going to have to charge me for a mini fill which would be $25. We then discussed it more and she said she would fix them the following Wednesday for free and adjust them. A time was determined and I ended up not being able to make it. Mind you by this time (6 days after my original lash appointment) about 3/4 of the extensions had already fallen out, not to mention my eyes were insanely itchy from the new glue she had just gotten. When I missed my appointment to have them fixed I then asked for at least half of my money spent on them back because she did not have any other time to fix them and I would need to pay for a fill, they were almost completely gone after 6 1/2 days and she then blamed it on "my spring lash shed." After consulting two other people I know that go to her for lashes I was told that their eyes were insanely itchy as well and that both of there lashes were falling out extremely fast as well. Kayden refused to refund me my money, even just half of it (because I did know she used her product and time on me to do my lashes) so I didn't ask for a full refund, but was still refused it. When I asked who ran the salon she told me it was irrelevant and didn't matter because she's an independent stylist. She was then extremely rude towards me and unprofessional. I would not recommend going to her for lashes what so ever. These are my "hybrid lashes" after 9 days of me taking extremely careful care of them. read more

I went In Thursday at 10am for my appointment, before I had already spoken to "Lana Taylor" about what I wanted done, she said she had "just the thing" perfect I go, she starts doing my hair it's done gets blow dried and says "omg so pretty!" I couldn't really tell how it looked inside the lighting is off, I pay... go in my car and really look at it I instantly did not like it! My roots are the same color I had before the bottom of my hair turned green definitely not what I wanted!!! I msg her and explained that this isn't what I wanted, she said she could go darker and "fix it" I thought about it but I'd be crazy if I trusted her with my hair again! I told her I was going someplace else to get it fixed and asked for my money back because I paid for a job that wasn't done! And she blocked me on social media!! My biggest problem with this salon is that all the stylist park in the small parking lot. Forcing customers to find parking in the sketchy neighborhood. Grace is not only an "eyebrow wizard" as Jennifer S. so kindly put it, but she also gives an unbelievable facial! I began seeing Grace for eyebrow waxes and fell in love. I then started getting regular facials about 6 weeks out from my wedding date, and here I am, five days away from marital bliss, and my face is as smooth as a baby's bottom. No joke, I noticed the difference right away. The first treatment I got was a microderm. It felt like brushing your teeth at the end of the day - it just swept away all the gunk and other "unmentionables" that were plaguing my complexion and I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. After such a successful first experience, I was hooked. Since then, I've gotten four facials from Grace, and she's been able to customize them to my skin and comfort level. I never thought I had bad skin before, but the saying that "the grass is always greener" is true in this circumstance. I'll never go back to my old ways. My makeup glides on seamlessly, I go to bed with my skin feeling clean and naked, and have eased my stress about waking up with a pimple the size of Mount Lassen on my face. Which, by the way, I haven't had since I started treatment with Grace. I never knew that I was going about skincare the entirely wrong way. She has educated my in what and what not to do in terms of my skincare routine, and I'm so happy that I chose this amazingly talented esthetician to do the job. She is professional, clearly a master in her field, friendly, and an all-around great person to know. She definitely has a customer for life! But wait, there's more! I seriously just love her so much that I hired her on as my makeup artist for my wedding! I got my eyelashes done there in May with Maya a new lash girl. TRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE!!! my eye lids were burning so bad and she was not careful at all, I almost had a panic attack and walked out after the first eye was complete. she left clumps of glue on my lids that I had to get removed by someone else and pay extra for AND when she finished they looked like they were a week grown out because they were not glued at the base... I will not go back and I hope nobody has to go through what I did that day. read more

I even felt comfortable enough to give her feedback and get exactly what I was looking for. (Which is sometimes hard to do with other stylists.)
