I was paired with a different nail technician, and the quality of service was noticeably different. She asked if I wanted my toenails trimmed, and I said yes, but she only trimmed my big toenails and left the rest untouched. The polish application was also very poorly done. It was uneven and looked rushed--the worst polish job I've ever received during a pedicure. I considered mentioning it, but her two children arrived during my appointment, and I got the impression she may have been distracted or trying to finish quickly. Based on my second experience, I don't plan to return. It's unfortunate because my first visit set such high expectations. I hope the salon can provide more consistent service in the future.

I still had residue of mask on my legs.. now my set.. she cut them a nice length and then through out the process, she kept filing them down so they became short and uneven. I showed an inspo pic of French. She coated half the nail and cleaned it off however she did not take it off properly and it was all down my cuticles. I'm attaching the inspo pic and what I received. When I called from my own phone, I received a message indicating that my call was being screened and they were not accepting my call at that time. I then called from my husband's phone and was able to schedule the appointment without any issue. Shortly afterward, someone from the salon called my phone and told me that I was no longer allowed to receive services there and stated that they have the right to refuse service. I understand that businesses have the right to refuse service, but when I asked why, I was given no explanation. There was no apology, no clarification, and no attempt to address the situation. The response was very flat and dismissive. I had been going to this salon regularly since moving to Reno, probably around 10-12 times. The only interaction I can think of that may have led to this happened during my last appointment about three weeks ago. After I paid, I respectfully asked why the price seemed to change every time I came in. I had been charged anywhere from around $40 to $60 for similar services, so I simply wanted to understand what I should expect to pay moving forward. I was told the price depended on the nail technician. I then asked whether there was a more consistent or standard price because I wanted to know what I would be spending every few weeks. That was the entire conversation. I was not disrespectful, argumentative, or abrasive. If asking a reasonable question about inconsistent pricing is enough for a returning customer to suddenly be refused service, I think potential customers should be aware of that. Looking back, I also overlooked concerns about the cleanliness of the salon because I liked that they offered hybrid gel, which can be harder to find elsewhere. After this experience, I would not recommend this business based on the customer service, communication, cleanliness concerns, and overall management. Apparently I will not be returning, but I wanted other customers to be aware of my experience. If you have questions about pricing or your service, just know that asking for clarification was not received well in my experience.

Later, I realized the creator worked nearby and appeared to know the owner--he even stopped in during my appointment to ask to borrow staples. That made me question how unbiased the recommendation really was. This salon has a lot of potential, but the customer service fell short. I was the only customer there, yet I still felt overlooked and uncomfortable. Between the paid parking, the price of the service, and the overall experience, I don't feel it was worth the cost.
