I went back to Beyond Nails because they were the only ones that could squeeze me in. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and service of my nail technician Nancy. My gel manicure and pedicure looked phenomenal and lasted forever. I am so happy that I've been back several times to have Nancy do a phenomenal job every time. read more

If I could rate this place with no stars I would. Worst place to get your nails done, despite all the burning from the file and the cuts I walked out with my nails were horrible!! They made me pay $45 for getting my hands hurt. I don't mind paying the price for a good set but I felt like if i had thrown my money to the trash because my nails were total trash. Also the lady that was doing them was super rude and rushing to get me out of there, it was like if they didn't want my business. DON'T EVER COME HERE!!! read more

Been a while since I came here. Decided to try them agan. My friend and I came in on 11/6 around 515pm and both got acrylic nails with a gel Polish. Supposed to be 40 dollars. I don't remember who helped me but her and another woman there were on a phone face timing with someone the entire time I was there. The place was loud and chaotic, no quiet what so ever. Hardly a relaxing place. When we were done (keep in mind my friend and I finished a min apart and started at the same time) we walked up to the counter to pay. I was told my total was 45 and hers was 40. Apparently mine cost more due to there being more work, as I only got the tips panted with a gel Polish and she had the full nail.they used 3x as much product on her and charge me more because they had to rub a second brush on my nail to clean up some polish. Either way I paid. A week later the gel Polish was actually coming off my nails.... a total crap job. I will never go there again. read more

I called them about six hours before wanting to go in. They had an appointment for me and told me to come in. The girl who did my gel pedicure did an awesome job. My toes look great two weeks later. I have to say it isn't a spa experience but for the price I can not complain. I will definitely be back when short on time or in a hurry. read more

Used to go here all the time. My nail tech was great but I found myself being ridiculed if I wanted a design on my nails. I always tipped and made every appointment. Still I would walk in and the owner would say, " you want design no time for that. " I hated that when I would come in i felt like I was a bother to the owner. I put a lot of money into this business. They do not appreciate loyal customer or any customers at all. read more

This is a review my girlfriend had me write after experiencing this place with her. Went here after running the RTO....hoping for a relaxing, at least decent pedicure...not what I got....I get that it was a very busy...but my polish looks like crap and doesn't look like the put topcoat on...and my boyfriend just got a simple pedicure and was charged the same as I was...they need to not rush people through and actually focus on good service....would not recommend to any one else...only reason I came here is because my normal place is closed on Sunday....never coming back read more

This was my first experience with them and I can say that they will now have a repeat costomer. I was a walk-in, I was greeted immediately and was asked was I would like done. Anna did my pedicure and I was asked if I would like to upgrade to the deluxe pedicure, and I am so glad that I did. Anna did a fantastic job and she must have massaged my legs and fees for a good 20 minutes. My feet were in bad shape and now they look and feel great. Then I was told to go over to Paul's station to get my nails done. While I was getting my nails done, Anna applied a paraffin treatment to my feet and covered my feet with warm booties. Paul did an amazing job on my nails, I got a pink and white with sparkles done. I have to keep my nails on the shorter side for work, but they still look beautiful. He is a man of detail, I have been getting my nails done on and off for over 20 years and I know what I like, he did exactly what I asked and I will definitely be going back to him. I don't know why there are some bad reviews on here but I can say that I could not have asked for a better experience. I found my new nail place. read more

This place has extremely badd customer service I went in there just to get a nail fixed and the lady tripped out on me and said she couldn't do it for some reason because I wanted her to re do what her co worker had done which was messed up my nail....I asked the manager to help me see tripped on Me Too! I ended up walking out ..Very bizarre experience... read more

I've been here a few times already, they've always done a great job on my pedicures. Today I went in with my mom and they treated her wonderfully. It's been a long time since she's gotten pampered and she loved it! Kacey was great. I'll be going back for sure. For my gel manicures and pedicures. read more

Had made an appointment, my person was working on another client for 10 minutes, then the shop got busy so my pedi literally lasted 20 minutes, when I asked how much do I owe she said 30, I said for a 20 minute pedi, she said yes, will not go back read more

I went here because it was the only salon that had an opening on a Sunday. The guy was very rude and did a horrible job on my acrylic nails. They were super thick and looked like they already needed a fill when I walked out of the salon. When I got my nails filled at another salon the woman commented that the guy was obviously new to doing nails. I might give another person at this salon a shot in the future, but I'll never go to that guy again. read more

Had an appointment and still had to wait about 30 mins (which really isn't a huge deal they were busy). The real issues tho were they were super unfriendly and my nails looked nothing like the pic I brought and were way shorter than I'd asked for ... Just a mess. read more

Tried out today. I didn't have an appointment and they were more than happy to fit me in. Very friendly staff.

My schedule gets hectic at times and I love the fact that I can walk in and have a pedi and mani just about any time around my schedule. All the girls in the shop are very welcoming and are knowledgable in a variety of nail care services and that is why I have been a customer at Beyond Nails for several years. read more

This is was the first time I visited The establishment and it was half hour prior to closing time with expectations that they would turn me away considering how late it was, but they accepted me! So that right there gives them 2 stars. I went in for a Gel Pedi, and my expectations for a pedi are much more higher then when receiving a mani. The lady that did my toes did a phenomenal job even tho it was close to closing time she took her time with grooming my toe nails which is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to nail salons. I've gone to other salons where they do the bare minimum of just trimming my toe nails but here the lady took the the time to clean under the nail, cleaned up my cuticles, and filed! Also shit did great at painting my toes just the perfect amount of coating not too chunky of a coat! read more

First of all this is just like every other nail salon I've been too. They don't speak hardly any English and they rush clients in and out. Very rude and made me feel uncomfortable. Word of advice to the owner....you run a business, in America, you and your employees should be able to speak enough English to communicate with your clients. We, as clients, pay your bills. No clients, no business! I went in for a pedicure and was greeted by a girl who spoke no English. She sat me in a chair and immediately got to work on my feet. She never looked up at me and never talked. I felt very uncomfortable in this shop as all the employees were talking amongst themselves. No clients who were in the shop were talking at all. We just kind of watched the employees run around. After she painted my toenails, she got up and left me sitting there for 20 minutes as she took another client. Finally another girl came over to remove the toe separators so I could pay and leave. When I got home I noticed that she had only removed some of the dead skin from my heels. That was the main reason for the pedicure in the first place. So I had to come home and use my pedi-egg on the rest of my feet. Save your money and don't go here! Rude, rude, rude! read more

There is a huge reason why I drive from Reno to Spanish Springs for this place. It's a walk-in mani pedi place, but she totally took her time with my pedicure. I look great. The place is great and clean. I never regret the drive. read more

My daughter and I stopped in without an appointment for manicures. They said they could get us in right away and told us to pick our gel color. I told them we didn't want gel. The owner or manager kept pushing us to get gel. Again I told her no, just a regular manicure. And again. They finally sat us at a station with a cereal bowl of boiling water that you couldn't put your hands in. The manicurist then came and recommended gel. Again, I said no. The manicure consisted of a little filing and cuticle trim. No lotion, no cuticle oil, rude people and $25 per person. I have been to Beyond Nails in the past with a similar experience but decided to try them again. We won't return! read more

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting waiting for a fill. In case the owner really sees the comments, I'm the lady that went in for a fill that you assumed didn't understand the language and preceded to talk about me to your client and one of your workers. You told her not to do my nails because I didn't make an appointment and you wanted me to wait. Well just in case you don't remember about a month ago what you told me was different, I asked to make an appointment and you said I didn't really need to that I could just walk in since busy times vary. Fast forward to today, 5 different people walked in, in the hour that I sat and waited and you had them all go before me. I asked if I could use your restroom and you very angrily said "sure why not right?" As if I was deliberately inconveniencing you. I sat around just to see the outcome and quite honestly to hear what else you would say about me. I'm not mad quite frankly I wouldn't give anyone like you the satisfaction, you won't lose sleep over me and I won't lose sleep over you. Bottom line, I hear from your employees You that you're a good boss and don't overwork them, it's just a true shame that you are extremely unprofessional. read more

Excellent service! Good conversation! Only one coat like I like it. She didn't cut me and she fixed Spa Nails jacked up polish job

I came in with a picture of what I wanted and the girl sort of did what I asked. I came in 2 weeks later to have the gels removed and she didn't soak them or sand them down. She ripped them off my nails. She didn't talk once and was going to charge me extra for another coat of polish. read more

I have been going to this nail salon every two or three weeks for the last 9 months. They had amazing service for a good majority of the time. This last experience though, absolutely horrible. And unfortunately the service has been getting increasingly worse the last few times I've been there. I always get their highest level pedicure, it runs me about $60 each time plus a tip. Today, the customer service was so absolutely horrible. I have NEVER in my life been treated like I was a criminal, especially in a place of business that I have been a regular good paying customer for almost a year. It was so disappointing and so embarrassing. Their owner is a cold callous, money hungry woman. She doesn't care about you or the time and money you've spent in her salon. Spare yourself the energy it takes to argue with the nail techs about what you want, and spare yourself the embarrassment that these people will inflict on you when it's THEM who should be embarrassed. read more

I have been coming here since 2010. I've tried other "day spas" they do not come close to the wonderful pedicures and manicures or gel nails (that's what I get) at Beyond Nails. The work is perfect I get compliments on my nails and toe nails all the time!! And the gel polish lasts on my toes up to 6 weeks. I encourage you to go and see for yourself!! They did my nails for my wedding and went all out for me they were amazing!! The owner Vicki is great and is very inviting when you come in to the shop I've only had her and my favorite Hanah do my nails and pedicures but everyone there does a great job. Even when they are busy they will make time for you!! They are the BEST I will never go anywhere else!! read more

What can I say great service at affordable prices friendly staff who are not only Professional but artistic as well

Beyond Nails has been a fantastic place to go for a pedicure! Their acrylics are not my favorite especially when trying more innovative ideas, but I can always rely on a good pedicure. They spend a good chunk of time making your toes look cute! It's also nice to sit in a massage chair while your feet soak for a bit. read more

Went here for the first time and will NOT be back. I go for Pedicures to enjoy and relax, well not happening here. The LOUD and non stop chatter of every employee in the place the entire time I was there was mind numbing!!! I almost told her to stop and walked out, it was that bad. They need to have some respect for their customers. Not only can we not understand it shouldn't be so loud and non stop. read more

HORRIBLE place ! I was referred here to the owner , Vicki . Spoke with her and she supposedly couldn't get me in with her . She put me with a Michele , and the worst experience from the moment I Walked through the doors til I walked out ! I showed a picture of what I wanted , and got the complete opposite , I told her they were to long and she assured me that they would get shorter because she was not done filing them down yet, that wasn't the case because they were the same length when she started painting them . Nonetheless , I showed her my picture 3 x , and she kept saying " yeah , yeah ok ok " so I figured how hard would it be to make a sunflower on the top of my ringer fingers ?! Apparently it's HARD for her . A sunflower , and in the pic it shows , clearly . Yellow and brown . I get white stripes , if that's what you want to call them , with a little dap of yellow in the middle , and to top it off she puts the design at the bottom Of my nails instead of the top corners , tips , where the picture shows . I asked for them to be fixed and she tells me "I can't today were to busy " who the HELL tells a customer that ?! Especially a new customer with an appt, I wasn't a " walk in " this place is garbage ! Before she took me back there were a few teenage gals sitting there . They asked me what I was getting , showed them my picture and they loved them , I go up to pay , and those girls just happen to be sitting , getting there nails done at the seats next to the paying stand. She asked to see , so I showed her . The look she gave me ( mind you I have NO idea who these girls were ) was One of embarrassment ( probably for me , that I have to walk out with my hands looking like that ) that is SAD ! NEVER will I refer this place ! And for 45.00$ ya ! I call to talk to Vicki , Saturday , the following day after getting them done to let her know what happen , and she Says" oh well I never have a complaint about her when I have referred someone to her " ( yup probably because they just said screw it because they don't want you touching their nails again , an ya , you probably haven't seen those people again either ) So petty . NO offering Of fixing my nails , refunding , taking off $ for a fill , nothing . So it's no wonder you, Vicki , owner of " beyond nails " has a 2.5 star rating ! You're customer service is horrible . Garbage work . They don't even make conversation with clients , I watched , and vaguely saw 10 employees, and they ALL were talking in their language , amongst themselves ! What you're business is called , for sure is a disgrace , because you guys absolutely DO not go " beyond " for clients !! And I hope a lot of people . Employees included read this review ! I'd hate for you to have an experience; such as mine ! So , ya I give you 1 star rating ! Wish there was a 0 ! read more

See all

wow. I'd really rather give this place zero stars. To start off my friend and I had made appointments, following that we had to wait 15+ minutes to even sit down. My appointment was for a fill and all my nails except one were still on as well as strongly on my nails. the lady continued to tell me that my nails were so bad that I needed a full set which I couldn't afford given the fact that I came for a fill. Next she started to rip my nails off painfully then when she realized I was irritated she then sent me off to another girl who then glued them all on me sideways. I highly DO NOT recommend coming to this place!!!! read more

My mother and I made appointments for a pedi for me and a mani/pedi for her. They rushed through the pedi's, no foot or calf massage. Didn't do cuticles, poor paint job. Wish I would have yelped them to see the reviews. read more

This is for my wife, quoted $35 for a set of nails, charged $55 later. No prices are posted. The gal was ruff and hurt while removing the old acrillic nail and the tool got under the real nail and caused bleeding and a lot of pain. The acted like it didn't happen. No apology or anything. They can't be trusted to charge the price they quote. We will never go there again. read more

Wow. Talk about uncomfortable. Walked in, asked for a simple gel polish change on my toes. Lady come over to me and asks what I want and tell her I simply want all silver glitter and show a picture. Tells me they "don't have that glitter" very rudely. I said ok I just want a chunky silver glitter. Pretty easy. She asks why I don't want a whole pedicure. I tell her I simply just don't need one right now. From that point on she was very rude. Didn't say one word to me the entire rest of the time. Had a scowl on her face. Acted like I was the most annoying person she had ever encountered. And on top of that rushed through everything as quick as she could. I felt super uncomfortable and unwelcome. Did I still tip her? Yes because I'm that kind of person. But maybe I'll take my business elsewhere next time. read more

Do not give your business to the place! I tried to use a gift card from a student and apparently they expire after 6 months ( I obviously don't get many opportunities to get a pedicure!). The owner is always quite rude but was especially rude when I tried to explain that I was a teacher and this was a gift. She said I was trying to make her feel bad and that if she made an exception for me she'd have to do that for everyone. I never liked their service anyway but now I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to go there. It's not like they are the only place to go in Spanish Springs! read more

I hadn't been to this place in quite some given my previous experiences but I decided to give them another chance because my wonderful nail woman was booked. Lesson learned. I went in for an appointment to have them soak off my acrylic nails and replace them with a gel polish manicure. That is not what I received. Upon walking in, I was asked if I had an appointment to which I said yes and gave them the information and then went to sit down. I was promptly informed to "pick out your color!!" So I stood and the display for their color options was disgusting....color spilled everywhere, bottles without any colors on the outside to even have an idea as to what color they were and to top it off, it's smack in the middle of their walk way so you feel like you're in everyone's way. I picked my color and sat down, still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt when I was rudely yelled at by the technician that she was ready for me. I sat down and instead of a soak off, she proceeded to RIP MY NAILS OFF. Not once did any kind of soak happen. The metal tool she used to take them off with she continued to pass back and forth between her and the techinian next to her AFTER she had ripped off my real nail below exposing skin and causing me to bleed. She then hastily apologized and continued with sanding my nails down further and then applying the gel and calling it a day. No manicure was done but at that point, I certainly didn't want one. I was there a total of 30 minutes, fast but not at all worth it. I am writing this review from my car just outside the building because I am too infuriated and shocked to wait. If I could give a lower rating believe me, I would. I would never recommend coming here but I would however recommend a thorough health inspection. read more
