Nice facility! They were able to fit us in quickly without an appointment. Very nice staff , reasonably priced as well. Clean, no strong smells. read more

Came in for a pedicure for my birthday...by far the BEST pedi I have ever had. Super clean and really friendly. I'll be back for sure!

The staff was so kind and had a lovely sense of humor, added to it was great workman ship!!! First time here, Im very satisfied. Never going anywhere else in Reno/Sparks area. read more

Just OK experience. Went in for a shellac mani. Super busy, crazy amount of nail techs. A bit chaotic. Not the place to go if you're trying to relax. My nail tech was ok- she didn't talk to me once, nor ask how I was, and didn't offer me a drink. Manicure was rushed and it shows. Probably won't be coming back. There are way better nail salons in the area that have customer service, treat you like a human, and offer mimosas! This place was like a factory.. in and out ! read more

My daughter and I get our nails done here all the time. Thank you Beyond Nails. Ready for the holidays! Thanks Vicky!

Went for a pedicure a couple of weeks ago...I could have painted my toes better with my eyes closed. Polish all over my skin, cuticles not even taken care of, and very lackluster massage. Such a waste of $30! Will never go back. read more

I love the service I get, wish they offered more colors. But I do come back very often. There prices are kinda above average but they do great work read more

I really used to enjoy this nail salon. My last experience was horrible. I asked for a color change and shape my nails square. Vickie ripped my nails off and said she only does her own work..... after she did all that .. shoved me to another person to polish my nails... BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE read more

Horrible experience. My daughter is getting married so I decided to treat us to a mother daughter experience in getting our nails done. Not only did they not listen to anything that we said or what we wanted. They put us down for what we did want, they hurt my daughter by sawing into her cuticles and nail and did not stop, and they insulted her by saying " YOU are getting married?" read more

Had the nail tech Jolie amazing tech does amazing work but has been about a month and nails will not fall off. Will add any art work but seemed to try to change my mind a bit , I did not like that. Also after making my appointment and coming in i had to wait a while for someone that was a walk in. read more

This is literally the worst nail salon possible. They overcharge for nails and pedicures. Go to the nail place at legends instead, you get a better price and they do a better job. Stop wasting your money here read more

in the 20 years I have been getting my toes done, I have never once ever been told I can't have a French tip due to small nails, yet that is what I was told. it was simply laziness. my best friend, who I went with, was completely ignored, her massage chair didn't work and they just blew her off. for over $120 I could have done the same job myself for $7 at home. the memory with my friend was worth it, the rest was a rushed waste. I will definitely go somewhere else next time. read more

First time at beyond nails and I was given the male Nail tech, he seemed to be very in a rush as he stated they were short staffed. He was very rough, kept "tossing" my hands around and cut my cuticles twice while grinding. When I walked out I had lumpy nails as the gel powder was not evenly distributed...I will not be returning. read more

Excellent business. Vickie did my nails and she was really nice and gave me 5 star service. My nails look amazing and I loved her ideas. She may be getting pulled several different directions at once, but she never made me feel like I was not being tended to. I'm really impressed with the level of attention she was able to give me while taking calls, directing customers to technicians and handling questions all at once. My new go to place! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am extremely upset about my experience here. I had just seen on social media the expansion they had done and I was eager to see it! We made appointments for 6 little girls ages 7-13 prior to leaving for gymnastics camp. I, myself had a gel pedicure and my daughter a gel manicure. All of the girls were SO excited for this experience and we left feeling like we were an inconvenience. The owner was argumentative and demeaning. We were told that our "small services" do nothing for their business and they were doing US a favor. Seriously?! Who says that to a paying customer?! And the owner of all people. ANY service, whether it be small or large, should be given the same time and respect. Good experiences lead to return services and recommendations, which Beyond Nails will never get from me. We should have walked out then. I didn't enjoy my pedicure at all. It felt rushed and it definitely was not relaxing. I will not be recommending this salon and they will never get my "small" business again. read more

I went for a full set, walked out so happy. My nails are perfect, even and smooth. Casey was gentle with my cuticles and natural nails. I know that acrylic nails aren't the healthiest option but I have no worries that when I take these nails off the integrity of my own will still be in tact. I was planning on getting plain polish over my full set but was suggested to get a uv gel polish and I'm glad I did. I usually have nicks in my polish within 5 minutes from leaving a salon with regular polish. But it's been a week now and my polish is still beautiful. I was sooo happy with the experience!! Everyone was so professional and I was seen within 10 mins of entering without having made an appointment. read more

I wish I could leave no stars , I called hrs in advance to make an appointment. I got here at the scheduled time and no one was ready to do my nails for at least 30min or more . If you're thinking of coming here do not do it . read more

Had an appointment for 10am for a couples pedicure. At 10:45am, one lady came over and was going to do one of our pedicures. One at a time. They actually forgot we were there. They made no apologies other than to say just a couple more minutes when asked about our appointment time. We did not stay any longer. As we were leaving we saw there were empty chairs on the other side and new customers being worked on. I have been going here for almost a year but will not return. I would give this place no stars if that were an option. read more

Terrible customer service and worst of all it was from the owner. Came in as two walk ins who wanted pedicures, a full set and a fill. When the owner told me I needed a new set I told her no and then magically they didn't have time to do my nails. I've had my nails done for years and know when I need a new set.. don't try to upsell me and then get an attitude when I tell you no. The pedicure was ok.. nothing to write home about. I decided not to get the fill when I asked the owner when someone would be able to start on me after sitting there for 20 min and she said "you don't have to get it.. if you don't have time". Ok, don't have to tell me twice. read more

I would avoid this place. The woman that did my nails reused disposable gloves take must have been from a previous customer. I don't think I've ever been more grossed out my entire life and she kept taking breaks from doing my nails to do her toenails.... completely unprofessional! read more

Vicki and hannah are amazing! Nails look great every time I go to them. The salon is always clean and they are always super nice. I haven't been to any of the other techs so I would have to say I reccomend going to vicki the owner, or hannah. read more

Ugh. These women are rude and do a poor job. My fingers were tight and sore after I got a full set put on. When I went back for a fill, the girl didn't even listen to what I wanted. I told her to do a back fill, and add more to my white tips, but instead she just airbrushed white over them when she was done. There were many little things that I hated about my nails... When comparing them, they were all a different shape, different lengths, and I could see the acrylic line under the white airbrushed line. It was obvious she didn't give a shit, and even called her coworkers over to look at my nails, give me dirty looks and speak in their own language... Obviously talking trash. I'll never go back. These people are rude and lazy. It's amazing they're still in business. read more

I am a nail technician myself, but do not do acrylics at my salon which is what I prefer on myself. I am new here to Reno so I have tried a few different salons trying to find one that I like. Beyond Nails has been the worst by far. I walked in and the owner/manager told me to pick a color before even asking what service I was there for. I then asked if they have a color wheel for the gel polish that way I don't have to open all the bottles to see the colors. She handed me a small wheel and I asked if that was all the gel colors they had and her response was "yeah that's a lot of colors." I said okay and kept looking then she grabbed the wheel from my hand and said "this is a whole collection." I said "okay that is fine I was just asking..." I picked my color and then she sat me down, I sat for about 5 minutes waiting for my nail tech then the same lady came and told me to move to a different chair. So after all of that my nail tech finally starts working on my nails. I told her that I was a nail tech, that way she wouldn't try to get away with anything, cuz I didn't feel secure that she wouldn't just rush through the service. She then tried to get information from me, asking what salon I work at, how much we charge for services, and she even went as far to ask if the owner of the salon was Vietnamese or Japanese... Which is obviously very unprofessional. As she was doing my nails a different technician brought over a client who had just got a pedicure. She sat down on the floor at the station next to me, and painted her customers toenails. It was just a terrible experience all together and as a nail technician myself, I definitely would never recommend anyone to this salon. Update: since someone from the salon commented that I need to remove this review. I've seen you comment things like that on other reviews too and sorry but that's not how it works. This "event" absolutely did happen at your salon and I am not wrong for writing a review about it. With that being said, no, I will not remove this review. You have a nice day :) read more

My daughter had a full set of acrylics put on at noon on a Monday. That night she went to bed at approximately 10:00. The gel polish smeared all over her comforter on her bed. It was obvious that the polish had not been cured or dried. The nails were a stiletto type so all that was left was very pointy acrylic nails with no polish. I had my daughter cut the tips off as they were too sharp. We went in the next day to show them the issue. They refused to re-do them. The owner even went so far as to accuse of us making it up. I asked if we could get a $40 credit toward a different service as my daughter no longer wanted to have the nails on. They refused to do anything other than paint the nails, but not redo the acrylics. The owner is very rude. I have gone there for years and have always noticed how she treats the people who work there as well as customers. She is very selfish. After we talked, she said "I've fought before and this isn't even a bad fight". I said "I don't want to fight. I want you to make this right". We ended up walking out because the owner refused to redo the nails or give us a credit. I recommend never giving this place your business or $ as the owner is not a nice individual and really does not deserve anyone's business. I highly recommend NOT going to Beyond Nails on Los Altos in Sparks NV. read more

I came here with my two sisters. They took me right away and told them they would have to wait 15 min. I was done before my sisters sat down. The whole experience was very rushed. When I walked in the door I was bombarded with questions about getting a French manicure, which I did not want. There was also no hot towel and a minute massage at the end. The place is also pretty dirty. With piles of junk lining the walls and the machines are dotted with various nail polishes. I came for a gel manicure and was told to pick a bottle from a rack along the wall. It was very hard to tell what colors they had as there was no order to them and no color palette to look at. Last but not least they are expensive for the services they provide. Not worth it. read more

The actual pedicure was nice, however my sister was with me and her pedicurist didn't even paint her full toe! The people here are very rude, and are the cliche nail shop that talk sh$t in front of you in their own language. I thought maybe it was just my experience, but after reading reviews, clearly other people have had issues...it's also quit rude (and annoying) that on every review, they respond with some sort of excuse, or claim it could not be their salon the customer is referring to. OWN YOUR MISTAKES and FIX them; excuses will just lose business. You're right, it is a busy salon, but I HIGHLY doubt you have loyal customers that come back... read more

I've always seen Sara here and she does a good job on gels they hold up great! This picture is the day after my pedi: They took me in as a walk in, the massage chair I sat in for my pedi kept turning off and dying on me, not too relaxing- my choppy cuticles look like something I could've done at home myself and it took 30 minutes to even get started- by that time my water was chilled- the massage on my feet/ legs literally lasted a while minute and a half- they were just getting people in and out of there not worth the $35 for my pedi for the quality of service I received. I had to ask twice to have my dropped polish fixed before being rushed out of the chair for the next person to sit down DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT COME BACK!! I also got a mani the same day that lasted two days before it started chipping it was like I used some kindergarten polish just peeled right off- I'm very disappointed read more

Beyond Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Sparks, Nevada

Last June, I came in here with my cousin and her two teenage daughters for pedicures and nails. I'd had good luck getting nails and pedicures here beforehand so I scheduled an appointment for all four of us. On this visit though, I had the worst experience, enough to make me never return. It was a few weeks before July 4th and I thought it'd be fun to get a patriotic design (on my big toes only). The base color was red and the technician did my design. She finished my pedi before my cousin and her older daughter's. My cousin's youngest daughter was done so she and I walked outside to wait. The more I looked at my "design" the more hideous I thought it was. They looked like child drawings of the "Burning Man" on my big toes. The two of us went back inside and showed the owner, Vicky, asking her to please re-do my toes. She was not happy about it and made me wait about 20-30 minutes before having the technician correct it. Vicky was working on my cousin. After we all left my cousin told me Vicky told her that I am a frequent customer that comes in "weekly" and has never complanied before but as I was a "white woman and that's how white women are". My cousin was shocked, not only because Vicky said that, but that she'd said this to her as we thought Vicky knew we all came in together. The fact that Vicky made this racial comment was bad enough but she couldn't even keep it to herself. This also displayed her lack of discretion and appreciation for her frequent customers. I'd have thought as a frequent customer, she'd have thought it smart to take care of me without complaining. Although I am half Mexican and half Irish,, I look white. My cousin and her daughters are olive skinned. I'm sure this is why Vicky didn't filter her comment or recognize that we all came in together, although we'd also called ahead for an appointment. My cousin spent over $220 on her and her daughters that day, plus my pedicure and all of my past business. None of it seems to matter to Vicky and she will never reap our businesss again. read more

I went here once for a pedicure when my normal nail place was closed for reconstruction. I have to say, I don't remember it being dirty as some of the other people on here have claimed, but it was packed. I was able to be seated right away, but it was not a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The televisions were blaring CNN or MSNBC or one of those news stations (not really what I want to see when I'm supposed to be relaxing). Because so many people were working, it was really loud and there were children running around that appeared to be the children of people who worked there. I have to say the man who did my pedicure did a good job though. There wasn't anything wrong with the treatments, but it's just not the kind of atmosphere to go when you want to relax. read more

I called around 4:15 today to ask if they could do a full set, a kids mani and 2 pedicures. We get there at around 4:45. I asked for my daughter and myself to sit side by side each other for the pedicures. The lady I had worked on my nails so fast that she only took the polish off then sat my daughter and I in a chairs to get the pedicures done. My daughters pedicure lasted maybe 15 minutes, mine was longer since I got the deluxe. I sad in the chair finished from my pedicure for almost an hour. Within that time I had 2 ladies come up to tell me I was next and that it would only be 2 more minutes. I got up and sat upfront, I picked my color out and sat down. The lady that told me she would be with my in 2 minutes, took a lady in her chair that had just walked into the salon. I contemplated to leave but since the lady took my polish off, my nails looked awful. After waiting about 10 more minutes, I finally was sitting at a girls chair. She took over an hour to put a full set on me because she kept getting up and making sure she was getting paid for her previous clients. At about 7:15 I was still getting my nails done and my daughter and I were the only clients in the salon. They rushed me to have me pay since they were closed. I had to call the movie theater to move our movie back 3 hours( that was the next showing) since we had spent 3 1/2 hours in this nail salon. They clearly only care about having the money from all the walk ins. We left the salon around 7:45!!! I will never go here again. I am so disappointed in this place! Update: 6/22/16 2 of my daughter shellac nails came off yesterday. Just 4 days after getting them done. read more

The salon was clean and well equipped with many polish options. My technician was great. Great massage and my nails look great.. great pedicure.. thank you read more

My gel pedicure looks good but I am frustrated with an experience I had today... I have been coming here for over 10 years and usually come back because of the fair pricing and how quickly I am usually helped; I have never had to wait longer than a couple minutes. Just before my nail tech (I didn't catch her name) was about to start painting my toenails (at the end of the pedicure), another customer came in asking for a fill for her nails and asked my nail tech her work schedule to see if she should come back because she had to leave by a certain time (an hour and a half later) to get to work. So, the nail tech directed the other customer to go sit in her chair at her station. Like a switch went off, the nail tech started rushing and frantically painting my toenails to get to her other customer. It was rude of the other customer to interrupt, but also very disappointing to be rushed out of the chair, as my monthly pedicure is something I look forward to. read more

This place is great for a quick pedicure and/or manicure. They are very well organized and get you in and out fast! The work is really good too! I've had basic and fancy nails both done here. I never make an appointment and whoever does my nails is pleasant and skilled. The only reason I don't give four stars is because some of the techs don't speak English and it's irritating to listen to them talk to one another in a language that doesn't sound pleasing to my ear. read more

Came in for a gel polish change, and had to wait as all the stations were filled. This is the first time I've been here, lady at the first station asked what I needed. I told her and she just said , "you'll have to wait" so I sat down on their small waiting area. While waiting about 10 minutes a few groups of ladies came in and the same lady had everyone sign in, when I didn't.... I think she noticed it got really busy and got up to address myself and another lady that we were next. The layout of this place seems a bit off and crowded. You walk in there are already two stations in the front with the cashier tucked in the corner. Then there are four rows by two up against the wall. They definitely jam packed this place. In the back, that's not noticeable from the waiting area, are the pedicure stations in the back. The decor here is a bit dated and tacky, out dated cheesy nail posters held up by thumb tacks, mixed with crooked scenic canvases, fake flowers and plants scattered around, and even lined paper hanging from the air conditioning vents.... After sitting in the waiting area for awhile. I noticed they make reservations over the phone but accept walk ups if stations are available at that moment so it backs everything up. Poor planning on their side. I ended up walking out. I waited 30 minutes, the entire waiting area was full, and I was supposed to be next. Two ladies walked in, I want to assume they were regulars because how comfortable they were with the staff, they didn't have a reservation from hearing their conversation (one of the ladies picked out a color and asked one of the technicians "can you take me now or should I come back"), and they both were sat immediately. I personally don't mind waiting but that pissed me off because there were other people waiting with me and those two ladies took up two technicians and pushed us all back. I definitely won't be back. read more

I wish I could give this by place no stars. DO NOT GO HERE!!!" It was filthy and the lady called our names before people who we're already waiting. My guess is because they may have thought we may be a Tad better off than the people who were already sitting there. And we may tip better. we ended up walking out because of how filthy it was and because of their prEferencial treatment based on how people look. read more

The owner is rude!!!! I have given this place many chances and every time she is just rude. I have been in here a few times and its been hit & miss. I was told 10 minutes then 25 minutes was asked if I was in a hurry. Told I had Vicki the owner, she seemed very rushed.
