Great place for a shellac manicure and pedicure. I live in Palomino Valley and the Los Altos shopping center off pyramid Highway is the most convenient for me so I don't have to travel too far. I don't know why this place has such low stars, they are great here. I can always get in without an appointment and they always set proper expectations for wait time if your a walk in. I have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes. I get my acrylic overlay and pedicure with them every time. They are attentive to what you like and always double check if you like it before they do the other nails. I have been to some places that try and tell you what they want to do and what will look good. I appreciate the feedback, but I know what I like and hate being forced into a decision. Definitely give them a try and help them by writing more reviews. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED with this place! I would not recommend at ALL !!! VERY HIGH PRICED/ POOR QUALITY!!! The first price they quoted us for a full set of acrylic tips for my daughter was $55, when we left they charge us $70 they are not correct on their pricing and then we called to have the nails removed and asked what would the price be to have them removed they said we will take care of you just come in and then they charge us $25 for a 10 min removal. I went in to have my nails done for my wedding, I asked for French tips, Ginger painted them instead of doing tips like I asked, and gave me a nude base when I had asked for pink. fine ok no big deal. I went to have them soaked off a couple of weeks later and Tram used a plastic nail (like the ones you use for acrylics and ripped them off, I asked her about soaking them and she said since they had lifted some this was easier. it has been a week since I had them taken off and my nails are destroyed. The woman that did my nails was extremely kind and made me feel comfortable and was really helpful with picking out a color I'd like. i've been going here forever and it hasn't been this bad. i went in with grown out nails and she ripped them off to the point where i was bleeding. she told me it's because i waited too long to get them done again and that i should come back in two weeks. i've been getting my nails done for 6 years and never had an issue like this. i was in so much pain throughout the entire process. we made appointments for 1:00 and ended up being stuck there for close to four hours. unacceptable for a quick fill with NO design. she charged me for a full set when i went in with acrylic nails ALREADY ON. their prices have went through the roof and i've been trying to be understanding of that, but the service and the pain i endured today i just can't fathom. she also kept using the tools she used with my bleeding nails and put them back in her drawer to further use, which lead to infection, blood borne illnesses, diseases, etc. if you look closely at the picture, you can see blood bubbling out of the MIDDLE OF MY NAIL!! she just put some weird blue liquid on my bloody nails and kept working. she ripped all of them off and kept poking me underneath my nails with the tool as a result of her missing the acrylic. i'm in pain writing this review. i'll also note that she put a tip on the bloody nail and it's shorter than the rest. the shape is not a square. it's uneven and bumpy. i'm so disappointed. this was my last visit read more

I have been a walk in here more than once and always get a different gal and that is okay and the price was reasonable. Most of the time I get a pedicure and I will have some kind of a sugar scrub or a paraffin treatment or a different type of soak... It's always fun, and the girls are always nice. It is not fancy, but it's very convenient to not have to have an appointment. This time I went in for a manicure. Just a straight up every day plain old manicure nothing fancy just trim the nails and cuticles and a coat of regular paint. The girl was very nice and got me right in with no waiting. she charged me $40 which I thought was a little bit expensive For a regular manicure not gel or any special treatment. After paying their upped prices for a basic pedicure I expected at least decent quality nails. However my friend and I left with the jankiest nails that were falling off faster than they did them. We called and they offered to redo them the next day, I went in and showed them how most of the nails were falling off and lifted off my nails multiple times. The service was terrible , I went last week to get my sister , mom and myself a spa day and we were rushed out. I don't like my nails not what I asked for and the service was poorly done for my mom. While I was getting my nails done the manager I assume kept telling me how the girls wanted to go home and that I came so late. Basically telling me without telling me not to come late anymore because they don't want to stay that late. Today I went to get the pedicure I couldn't get last time and the manager was very rude and said inappropriate things to me. I came in and when I gave the tip she made a joke about it to her co workers as if my tip was cheap. Go anywhere else! I had the powder done at beyond nails, it took 2 hours, because my technician kept messing up. I asked several times if it was going to be easy to take off and she said it was. I also asked if I would be able to keep my nails when they took the powder off and they said they could, no problem. Three weeks later when I went to have them removed. Without asking the technician immediately cut my nail all the way down. I pulled away, shocked and asked her why she just cut my nail off. She said that is how we do it here, if you don't want us to you have to tell us. Seriously? I asked if there was a way to keep my nails long, and she said yes, but it takes longer. I have very long natural nails, the fact that she just chopped one off entirely, without asking blew me away. She then asked if I wanted to keep my other nails long, I told her since she just cut one off, it would look terrible. She proceeded to take the powder off all my other nails (while leaving them long), and the powder came off fine. Because of her first chop, she then proceeded to cut the other nails off and file them. They were really uneven, not the same length and just done terribly. Go somewhere else, this place is terrible. I left with powder still on some of my nails, uneven cut and file job. I'm going home to redo my nails myself. Ugh, this place is the worst. read more

Terrible and Rude management! I took my girls to get their nails gel polished along with 2 other moms and their girls. I came in and made an appointment earlier in the day and when we showed up for the appointment owner was flustered. I get it can be overwhelming that they all wanted the same color and all at the same time but they were aware when I made the appointment. When she was placing us with the manicurist she was rude and said "this is a cheap service, we are doing you a favor!" Was that even necessary? Anyway, the nails turned out ok but lasted 1 day. My twenty first birthday I decided to get my nails done. I called in advance for an appointment for a friend and I to get pampered because that friend had recommended this place to me. They had no problem accommodating my reservation. Arriving at the salon the owner, Vicki, greeted me and told me it was no problem I was late due to construction in the area and told me to pick out colors. I usually don't like gel bc I had a bad manicure that chipped and was thick and bubbly. She explained to me the quality of the products she uses and how much better gel is than regular polish. I agreed to try it one more time. It's included in the full set price! I also asked the owner the difference between white and pink acrylic to which she explained how much more quality the pink was. She only uses OPI product due to its reputation. She finished filing and shaping and already my nails looked perfect without polish. Then Nancy took me to do my special polish. I generally do some crazy stuff with my nails so I wanted to see their creativity and talent. I was not disappointed. The gel polish was smooth, not thick, and not bubbly. It looks absolutely perfect and Nancy was so sweet and very talented. It was my first time here and I will definitely be going back to see these two wonderful artists. The place was extremely busy and the employees didn't interact with us whatsoever, even when we asked a question or paid a compliment. The person in charge (owner, manager ?) was "cracking a whip." She was rushed and rude, to us and the employees. Do a mediocre job while talking crap about the clients to one another in their native language. Each time I went they only partially painted some of my toes. Which you sometimes can't see until to look real close. They have crappy attitudes towards customers bringing them business. They need to be more appreciate of their clientele before there all gone!
