I got my nails done by the manager Vickie, who was really welcoming and funny. Showed her what I wanted (Ombré nails) and she did it better than the photo I showed her! She took her time and listened to what I wanted and I haven't been this happy with the results of my nails since moving here. She definitely knows what she's doing! Third or fourth time at Beyond Nails. Since I'm becoming a regular I should leave a review. I first wandered in needing a pedi for an event that evening. I walked in and was immediately seated in a chair and received a very nice French pedi with sugar scrub and massage. Second visit I came in with some raggedy gels needing ....something and got a gorgeous set of pink and whites. My first full set with Vicki lasted almost a month. No lifting chipping or crusties. Third visit was for a pink fill with Vicki. She does excellent work and is the owner. Today I called ahead needing a pedi and a mani refresh. This was the first time I went in with a picture of what I wanted and Vicki delivered after a little consultation about how to best achieve the look she went to work. I'm very very pleased. See pic! Tips: although you don't need an appointment you may end up waiting for your services. Plenty of parking. Credit cards accepted as well as cash. You can tip on the card but you do need to tell the cashier how much to add. If you are sitting in Vicki's chair it can be a little chaotic as she answers incoming calls and directs all incoming customers. Polish selection is good. There are two areas for non-gel polish. One by the entry door and another across from the pedicure chairs. The presentation of the gel polishes could be improved. They're often interspersed in the general polish population and could be cleaned up and reorganized. Cleanliness isn't the greatest but the tools are cleaned between clients as are the pedicure tubs. A friend recommended I come here, after I noticed her nails always looked nice and seemed to last so long. Main reasons I love this place and would recommend it: 1) I always show up without an appointment and usually near the end of the day and they are ALWAYS willing to fit me in, despite how busy they are. 2) They are very affordable and do a great job and 3) My nails always end up looking exactly (if not better than I imagined). I made an appointment and went in on Sunday. The salon failed to state you must wear a mask, of course I forgot mine. They make you buy one for $6 or your appointment is cancelled. Additionally, I was rushed through my pedicure in 25 minutes. She did the wrong color, I tried explaining it wasn't the right color but she just shook her head and did it anyway. Once done and thoroughly annoyed I watched 2 things happen that were extremely unprofessional. First one being, they accused a child of losing the polish they chose and were trying to make the mom pay for it. When what really happened was someone cleaned up after the child was done and put the polish away. The treatment and accusatory action was disgusting and uncalled for! Second, they were watching clients. Now, I paid close attention to the rules of things opening and I know esthetician's were not included! Profiting on the pandemic is disgusting!!! I went in for a pedicure and acrylic take off today and the lady who did my pedicure didn't even scrub my feet and my pedicure was rushed! I normal come here all the time and never had a problem. But today they were busy but I schedule an appointment with them. When I told them I wanted an acrylic take off the lady who did my pedicure started to talk in their language and said sorry I am not doing that for you someone else will I said thats fine and they were so rude about having to take off my acrylics I didn't even end up doing it. I took my 11 yr old daughter in to spoil her after recovering from a surgery to repair a cleft lip. The last of 16 procedures! I purchased her a pedicure and manicure. The lady who did her manicure left a lump of gel 1/4" thick on one thumb nail. I took her back in. My lady fixed it. My daughter wait until we get home ("so I'm not as upset") to tell me that her hand was burnt on a lamp when her initial lady did her nails and the lady didn't even apologize!!! I call today.... And ask for a refund or for the profit portion of my daughter's expenses to at least go to my nail lady. The manager says "let me enlighten you, everything in this world needs evidence." I agree! So I ask for the business email address and I'll email a doctor's note ahs picture for evidence....manager says They don't have an email. & I have to bring my daughter in so they can they can do for my daughter....... I really don't get why there are so many bad reviews. I stopped in today at 6pm without an appointment. I was greeted right away and was told they could take me. It was really busy in the salon so I was very surprised I didn't have to wait. Now I've seen in other reviews complaining of the cleanliness or lack there of, but to me they were extremely clean. As to those who mentioned that their implements aren't sanitized....they are sanitized. The only places I've gone to where they "open" a new package of implements also charge $50-$60 for a basic pedi. Yen my technician was very friendly and sweet. She did a fantastic job on my toes and she gives the best foot/calf massage. I will definitely be a regular customer here! read more

I was pleasantly surprised!! I went in knowing there was a 50/50 chance I'd leave disappointed. Instead left excited to update my original review and refer all of my girlfriends! From the moment I walked in I noticed a new and improved color selection!! Yay! And then VIVIAN came and took me next door to their new and more relaxing salon add on!! Ladies and gentlemen... for $55 I got the best pedicure I've ever had! Better than the ones I've had at the Spa Atlantis, Spa Toscana, SOAK... where I paid well over $100! VIVIAN informed me the products she was using were all organic. They smelt, felt, and left my skin feeling AMAZING!! I asked VIVIAN how long this new addition had been done and she informed me just a month... so maybe it won't stay as nice, new, and clean for long. But I sure hope it does! Either way, as long as you get VIVIAN, you will get your moneys worth! She is really great. She is the sweetest lady and very very talented!! So ask for her!! Today was my first time at beyond nails. I have mixed reviews. I was very happy with the service. Walked in, got attention right away... I had a certain color in mind and they didn't have it so they made it! Vicki is the owner and she did my nails. They look great and everyone was nice. The down side... There was a big scene and confrontation between the owner and a customer. They were yelling and kind of made my nail experience uncomfortable. I've been here twice now for a gel pedicure. Both walk ins. They always greet me right away and I never have to wait more than a few minutes even when they're packed on a weekend. They ask if I'd like anything to drink, which they offer tea, coffee, water and wine. The girls take great care of my feet and do a wonderful job with the polish. Prices are reasonable. However, my technician was unable to do the design I asked for (Marble accent), and ended up doing no design because my nails were "too short." I have had designs on short full sets before, so I thought this was strange. My final full set looks sloppy and messy. I will be going to another salon to have them fix this disaster. I do not recommend Beyond Nails. Edit: after taking a shower, it became apparent that my nails were not cured properly. My nails were smearing, peeling, and chipping after getting out of the shower. FINGER TORTURE NIGHTMARE I stopped into Beyond Nails because it was close by and it was recommended by a co worker for a quick fix. I wish I could give this place less than 1 star. My experience was horrible. I ernt in to get a fill. (my regular nail tech was out of town). They let me know it would be $35. The nail tech started filing my current acrylics down. She let me know that we would have to start over, and that it would be $50. I was shocked, and said no thank you. She lowered it to a whopping $45. (That is way more than I am used to paying, but I still accepted as my nail lady is out of town. I was understanding as I was just a walk in, and wasn't going to argue prices.) But NEXT, the lady CUT all of my long natural nails off without asking. I made a comment after she did the first one what she was doing. She was "starting over." I was very upset that my fingernails I was trying to grow out were chopped down to nothing. And without asking first. THEN the she took a file and wedged it or between my natural and acrylic nail RIPPING the acrylic off of my nail. This is HORRIBLE for your nautual nail bed, and was PAINFUL. I told the woman it hurt very bad and she said "it's very quick and easy." Easy to say when it's not happening to you. I asked if we could soak them off, and she continued the RIPPING. At this point; I asked to leave. I told her I didn't want to go any further. They told me it WOULD BE TEN DOLLARS. Meh! Made an appointment for pedis today, for 3 people. They sat 2 of us next to each other and third a few spaces down. I sat in my water for 15 minutes before a tech was available, which I was just fine with. The woman next to me was getting her toes clipped at that time. I watched her tech give her a nice long massage, take his time, while 9 yards. She got a fantastic pedicure. Tech finally started me and my whole pedicure was done, polish and all, before he finished final coat on hers. If you are looking for the express pedicure, go to anyone of the ladies working there....after watching whole row, he was the only one who really seemed to take his time and give a great service for the amount paid. I've been there several times in the past and have to say service has been on a downhill slide for sometime. I won't be back after today. While they waited patiently, another woman wanting a pedicure came in. The worst customer service I have ever experienced! I brought a client of mine in his 85 in with a walker and we asked if we could get a Manny Petty and they said yes. Another person comes in with the same request they said yes, another person comes in, and the fourth one comes in and ask if there's room for a Manny Petty. Phung or Paul as he likes to be called did an exceptionally great job he started off by pushing my cuticles back which I greatly appreciated, he was so precise and meticulous.... job well done! The owner Vy has zero customer service. I visit every couple of months for an eyebrow trim. Most techs are very kind and do a very good job. Well I went in and got Vy. I should have turned around and left. She trimmed and waxed in 4 minutes. I asked for a mirror and she told me I had to sit up first. Sitting up you don't have the light to see. I asked her about a couple hairs that were sticking up and she insisted they were supposed to be like that. I ended up cutting them myself. She was rude and unprofessional. Never again!! read more

As I'm sitting here getting my nails done I asked the tech how much was it for a diamond finger meaning the entire nail covered in jewels the lady tells me oh no honey it's too expensive.. personally it really bothered me because for 1 how do u know what's too expensive for me 2 I asked you how much it was not if it was expensive or not. I feel extremely offended because I feel judged. She basically told me I couldn't afford the diamond nail. Then she tried to tell me designs are expensive too. It's frustrating to sit in silence while the nail techs speak to other nail techs in their language instead of building rapport with me, the customer. The male however was very rude to me, when my mom stepped outside for a second after getting her pedicure and I was chatting and saying how good the massage chait was, he said your mom is done, you need to be ready too...he really ruined the mood and if the ladies weren't so nice, I might not be coming back.
