This is a Tucson gem. You will only find it in Tucson, which also adds to its charm. As the name states "beyond bread" meaning they offer a large variety of items. Most come for the sandwiches and soups, but you can get, pastries, cakes, fresh baked bread, cookies etc. My family loves this place, and we've never had a bad sandwich here. The portions ares huge, younger me could have finished everything, sadly now I eat half and take the other half home. The service is always welcoming which is always a plus. It can get very busy at lunch rush, but the line moves fairly quickly. They do offer both patio and indoor seating so finding a table isn't too bad as it's self seating. Overall, when I visit I love coming by and supporting this establishment.

During the hectic holiday season, I really appreciate having a quick and convenient place to grab desserts and bread, and Beyond Bread is perfect for that. It's an easy stop when I need something last minute, and the moment you walk in, the smell of freshly baked bread is amazing. The staff is always super friendly, which makes the experience even better. I love their small pies because they let you enjoy dessert without feeling too guilty, and they offer a great variety of flavors. My favorites are the Black Forest pie and the fruit pies, especially cherry and apple. I also regularly pick up their pretzel and sourdough bread. Beyond Bread is my go-to spot when I need something quick, comforting, and reliably delicious.

Gruyère and scallion quiche, so light and creamy and cheesy I loved it.

Another favorite. The egg and cheese filling in this quiche was so creamy I wondered what they put in it. I would totally get this again. By the way you can pick these up at Back Dough, and many other pies, including beef pot pie which I have yet to try.

Perfect spot for a casual lunch or dinner with quick service! I love the sandwich pretzel bread or focaccia (not pictured here lol) and it's great prices for a sandwich & soup combo. 10/10 on the Greek lemon chicken soup

1st-- Nobody in the country matches KATZ's Deli in NYC for a Pastrami Sandwich, however, moving forward... I decided to give 'um a try since it was their 'special' this month. $22.26 Pastrami on Rye, Swiss, Pickles & Russian Dressing grilled. Cole Slaw & Med D. Dr. Pepper. B4 you try to have the Cole Slaw, you must mix it in it's plastic portioned container. All the mix sinks, so you'll get nothing but 'dry' cabbage etc.. The sandwich is an 'okay' portion of meat, but not lean by any stretch. The bread is outstanding. The inside is clean well played out & quite a selection of not only breads of all kinds, but pastries that look anything but Low-Cal LOL-- Drink station, condiments etc was so nice & clean. Service was GREAT @ the "Place Order Here". Was fast on delivery of order as well. But, I'd pay $20+ for a bigger, leaner sandwich than what I got. Actually, there were slices that looked burnt on the edges. Not acceptable. So, will I return, most likely for a speciality 'loaf', or two, but not another sandwich. Sorry but, too many choices here in Tucson. PS》 I drove 7miles to try this.

Beyond Bread is Tucson Born, and such a special local establishment...never had a bad experience here. Ambiance/Cleanliness-It's a busy working bakery cafe...has some well chosen colors/furniture and lighting. It shows thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Never been there when it wasn't busy, but it is always clean. Ample outdoor space for those that like it. 4 stars Service-Never bad, never great...3 stars Food-Last time I went, had the Morgan's Merger- Egg, ham, Swiss, roasted red peppers, red onion on White. Lovely sandwich, reasonably priced. All of the baked goods have been superb....the epi' is my favorite. 4 stars

Beyond Bread is such a Tucson staple when it comes to great sandwiches. I tried the Molly's Crisis for the first time and it was a great summer choice. The sandwich was packed full of delicious turkey and for $13 it's a great deal!! I was even able to add onions at no additional cost. They never disappoint and are always fresh and delicious. My only complaint when it comes to Beyond Bread is that they are only open to 7pm every day which to me feels too early.

I enjoyed my half sandwich and soup. I ordered the sandwich with hummus and sprouts. It was nice to have some hearty vegan options!

Can you choose any bread for a sandwich ? I'd like to substitute marble rye or a croissant sometimes

Between having ordered a customized cake to picking up cakes from their display cases... I don't have a favorite... each one has been unique and delicious in their own (ps- their icing is amazing). For the quality of their cakes, their prices are totally reasonable. They have additional bakery items ( cookies, pastries etc) that I have tried and I would rate those a 4/5. Good and comparable to some additional amazing bakers in Tucson. I have also dined here for brunch and I would rate it a 3/5. Overall service is great here- staff are attentive and take the time to describe the items. There is a line to order usually- understandably so when you see their bakery case!
