I would have given this place 5 stars but witnessed something absolutely awful. I was so excited to visit this place since it's supposed to be the best ice cream, but as we waited in a very long line, the owner or the boss called out one of his employees for not taking orders and moving the line further along. Screamed at him in front of customers. This poor kid was probably no older than 18 years old and he's being yelled at. I get the line should have moved quicker, but yelling at your employees in front of people, I almost wanted to cry for him. No place is worth going back if that's how employees are treated. read more

BEST ICE CREAM IN THE LV, HAND DOWN. So fresh and flavorful. They have such a wide variety of flavors. Wish they posted their flavors on a board so that you didn't have to walk around the freezers to choose (especially when there is a huge line). Prices are great too. read more

Great place if you're looking for a local ice cream shop in Bethlehem. Plenty of flavors to choose from. I had the Peanut Butter Cup, but there was little to no peanut butter. The best ice cream in the Lehigh valley, i only go here for my sundaes. Its slightly pricey but well worth it. The only quirk ive had is the what i would assume is the owner parks his big truck right in front of the side entrance and i would find it difficult to get in if i was on crutches or a wheelchair to get through to the ramp. read more

This review is for the customer service provided by the elderly woman who was working there today. While my family waited in the car, I walked in to see if they had fresh waffles on the menu. The old woman (in her 80s it seemed) approached with a blank look and no greeting. I was the ONLY customer there. She said nothing. I gave her a hearty HELLO--how are you today?" She made no eye contact and mumbled, "ok." What wonderful warmth. I asked if they were making waffles. Her bored, annoyed reply, "Yeah, but it'll take 15 minutes." (As if it would be an irritation to her and put her out.) I asked if they can put fruit on top. She replied, "Strawberries." I asked if they have bananas. She said, annoyed, "Yeah, but we put strawberries on it." As if such a request was a great imposition and required some sort of higher-level education in order to add a different type of fruit. Turned off, I left with a car full of would-be customers. I know the ice cream is great, but would someone teach the old lady how to smile... be friendly... and interact with other humans like she really cares that they came to give her their business? We had 15 people come in to celebrate a birthday. The folks at The Cup were so helpful, cutting the cake for us (granted, the store wasn't very busy since it was 8pm on a weekday, but it was still a really nice thing to do!). I called in to reserve a cake that morning, and they wrote a personal message on it. It was super tasty (their cakes are half chocolate, half vanilla, and cookie crumble in the center) and it was really fresh ice cream! I've lived in Bethlehem for 23 years. My whole family has seen a bunch of frozen yogurt and ice cream places come and go . We always wind up back at The Cup (one of its many names). I left the area for about 2 years and came back recently. The Cup is even better than I remember it. I don't know if they changed recipes or what, but it is sooo good. No lie, I've had it twice in the past two weeks, and it is 12 degrees outside. I think plain old cookies and cream is my favorite right now, but I alternate from time to time. I do miss the older lady who used to work there. She was so sweet and I am sorry she's gone. But the kids working there now are great. You better believe they work hard. Get all the fixin's you want because they have a ton, but this stuff doesn't need it. read more
