Happy happy joy joy on top, death by chocolate underneath
    Sophie K.

TLDR: Cute ice cream shop in downtown Bethlehem with delicious super creamy ice cream! My favorite is happy happy joy joy, boyfriend's favorite is grilled stickies. CONTEXT: My boyfriend used to live here and this is his very favorite ice cream shop (for straightforward flavors) so we stopped by when it was on our way for a trip. ICE CREAM: they mostly have additional flavors, but they are done well. Extra creamy -- the high milk fat content makes it decadently creamy and delicious. Apparently they ship their ice cream here from Penn State, where a professor is known for an ice cream course. SERVICE: Good! People were nice! OVERALL: YUM! Will be back when I'm in the area next.

Had Hotel B ice cream for the first time today and really enjoyed the ice cream itself. The ice cream was exceptionally creamy and delicious and it took maybe 10-15 mins to eat because it was so solid, which was awesome. However, for the price they don't give very large servings which was a bit of a disappointment and also they didn't have any waffle cones, which seems pretty standard these days. However, the Penn State vibe inside the ice cream parlor was pretty cool, and there was a ton of seating available both indoor and outdoor. Overall, the ice cream tasted great, but it was more of a quality over quantity thing.

Cute ice cream Parlor on the main drag in Bethlehem. They serve Penn State creamery ice cream, shakes, sundaes, etc. The ice cream is delicious and there are some seats available in the shop and outside to sit and enjoy your ice cream.

The Hotel B ice cream bar is perfectly located in downtown Bethlehem and serves Penn State Creamery ice cream. It's the perfect spot to get a sweet treat while visiting Christmas city of Bethlehem! The staff worked through the line quickly & efficiently and with a smile too. The inside is decorated to match Penn State & also has several seating spots for guests to enjoy their ice cream inside as well as a few spots outside. The ice cream is reasonably priced & if you've been to the original creamery you'll be sure to see all your favorite flavors here too!

Best ice cream in downtown Bethlehem if you ask me! I've lived here for almost a month now and have been to hotel b ice cream at least 4 or 5 times. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the ice cream is creamy and delicious every time and they have a wide variety of options. My boyfriend and I came here the other night and ordered a banana split. The staff was so happy to make it for us and the banana split was delicious! Highly recommend going to hotel b if your in downtown Bethlehem and are craving some good ice cream!

One of the best ice cream shops in Pennsylvania and a must visit if in Bethlehem. All of the ice cream flavors were unique and delicious, especially alumni ice cream which is a creamy fruity flavour with chocolate chips. Their banana is amazing, along with the waffle sundae in which fresh baked warm waffle is covered with ice cream. Ice cream nachos were great as well and a fun way to enjoy the cold treat. The scoopers were friendly and being joy to this cozy ice cream shop.

This parlor shop features Penn State Creamery ice cream which is delicious! Some of the creamiest ice cream I've had. From the name, this spot is a little confusing as it is not in the hotel but rather across the stre

Run by Penn State students. Brilliant! Almost every human being enjoys ice cream. The product the students produce is yummy!

Both hailing from Bogota, Colombia, the two partners own a number of restaurants both separately and together. With Tapas on Main, they brought authentic Spanish-inspired dishes to downtown Bethlehem. In February 2015, when the unit next door became available, the partners opened a French-style bistro dubbed Cachette Bistro + Creperie. With both eateries adjacent to each other, they can share the same kitchen and liquor license; it makes for easy management. Palomina serves as the executive chef for both establishments, while Luis Abundez serves as the chef de cuisine. My family and I visited Tapas on Main and Cachette Bistro + Creperie this past summer while we were visiting relatives in the area. We stopped by while exploring Main Street and it looked like a cool place to get brunch. Although we were all seated in Cachette's dining room, the staff said that we were allowed to order anything from either establishment's menu. For drinks, I ordered a "Limoncello Spritz" while my wife had a "French 75". For food, I had the "Smoked Salmon Benedict" (two poached eggs, smoked salmon, sautéed spinach, bacon crumbles and hollandaise over English muffins), my wife had the "Huevos Rancheros Crepe" (two fried eggs, chorizo, pico de Gallo, cilantro rice, black beans, jack cheese), and our sons shared the "French Toast" (fresh bananas & strawberries, maple syrup). We all really enjoyed our meal! Our extended family also enjoyed their dishes, which included the "Croque Madame" (gruyere, ham & egg sandwich, served w/ frisee & apple salad). Whether you fancy a culinary trip to Spain or France, you'll find plenty of delicious dishes at these two establishments!

However, the food was brought out as it was ready rather than all at once, which made for an odd dining experience--some people received their meals much earlier than others. It would have been better if the food arrived together so no one had to wait while others ate or risk their meal getting cold. Food Ratings: Classic Crepe (Gluten-Free): 8/10 2 Eggs Over Hard with Home Fries: 10/10 Classic Crepe: 9/10 Classic Crepe (Gluten-Free, No Banana): -- 8/10 French Toast: 6.5/10 Italian Crepe: 8.5/10 (Pesto was good) California Crepe: 2/10 (Wouldn't recommend; should be removed from the menu) House Fries: 10/10 (Not actually fries, more like potatoes, but highly recommended) Overall Impression: A mediocre brunch spot. It's best to keep it simple--stick with the crepes and maybe the house fries. Street parking is available. The food took so long so they brought out a happy birthday ice cream!

I've definitely had better vegan treats before, especially for the price point. One thing that really stood out to me was that there were no prices listed near the tarts or baked goods. Normally that might not be a huge issue, but in this case, I think it's important. When the cashier told us our total was $34, I honestly thought he was joking or had accidentally charged us for a small cake or something. We didn't question it at the time and just paid. Once we got to the car, we started second-guessing whether there had been a mistake. I even went online and checked their ordering page to confirm the prices. To my surprise, there was no error - the tarts are actually $17 each. I can usually justify higher prices if the food is truly exceptional, made with rare or unique ingredients, or if part of the proceeds go toward a meaningful cause. In this case, though, I didn't feel the quality matched the cost. There are several vegan bakeries in NJ that offer better-tasting treats at more reasonable prices. At that price point, I truly hope the workers behind the counter are earning well above minimum wage and that their hourly pay reflects what this place charges for a single tart. If customers are paying premium prices, it would be reassuring to know that the staff is benefiting from that as well. Overall, I think listing prices clearly in-store would help customers avoid sticker shock at checkout. Transparency goes a long way.

We followed our GPS and parked across the street in the smaller parking lot with the giant Silk sign. Brick walls, high ceiling, cozy atmosphere, chill music, ice cream display brightly lit. We knew we were in for a good time. We were greeted by someone I think is the most professional and business friendly person I've seen, especially for a teenager. She was so calm and quick with getting us samples and had an awesome vibe to her. After trying tons of flavors, we went with Dirt, Vanilla and House Cookies and Cream. I don't remember what was in Dirt but damn, it was good. There's a few seats and it was really fun to sit there and finish our ice cream. They have vegan flavors and was accommodating to get a clean scoop. They do charge 3% for credit card use. Awesome spot. Would certainly come back if I was in the area.
