We love this place, the atmosphere, and outside so much, we drive 25 min to get here! Ice cream is wonderful and so many different flavors but I mostly get chocolate with (whole) almonds in it. I knew there was a Cup on the Southside somewhere and thanks to Yelp we found my way there. If you've been to their main store, then you pretty much know what to expect here. Homemade ice cream and treats. This was no exception here. They had many hard ice cream flavors to choose from but I didn't really look at the selection because we all decided on soft serve. The guy working was super nice and we were there in the early afternoon so it wasn't crowded. Prices are reasonable. For 2 kids sizes and 1 small it was a little over $8. They have seating inside or if it's nice out you can sit outside in the courtyard. Plenty of tables and chairs and benches to enjoy. This is a cute little area. Prepare for on street meter parking. There isn't too much to say about this ice cream shop. I had a hankering for a malted milkshake today and I wasn't going to stop until I got one! I'm glad I came here. For $5.60, I got a regular size malted milkshake made with the Cookie Monster ice cream. I believe this ice cream flavor is actually vanilla ice cream with Oreo pieces and cookie dough pieces, too. I never had a blue milkshake before, and I felt kind of happy and childlike when I got it. And the milkshake itself was just so incredibly good. I was in milkshake heaven for a bit. My friend Tiffany and I came here on October 7th, 2016. We had been meaning to visit for a while, but before then we just couldn't seem to get over there. I love the old fashioned environment, they even play 60's music! Since I'm a 60's nut, that scored a point with me. I tried to snap a few pictures during our visit, but it was hard to do without looking weird. So the few pics I did get, I took them very discreetly. I ordered my ice cream in a cup, and since I was doing the "low carb" thing at the time, I got 2 of their sugar free options (Butter Pecan and Moose tracks). My friend Tiffany got their.... Um... Can someone please help me out? I forgot what its called. But it's a pastry, filled with apple... So yeah, that's what she got, lol. We ate our ice cream on the benches outside, because it was a little crowded inside (early evening, just got dark). It was really good, and I would certainly come back. Its just refreshing to see a place like this, so nostalgic in a "jazz everything up" age. The portions are decent and so is the price. I had the pleasure of visiting The Cup while I was in Bethlehem, PA for a weekend retreat with a church group. We walked from Moravian College (I was told it was a short stroll, not so much the case) and then used the walk back to enjoy our ice cream and burn those extra calories we'd just gained. There were plenty of options of ice creams and the place was PACKED. It was a summer weeknight evening and the line was out the door. We moved through it quickly and even though they were slammed the gentleman who was helping me was completely patient as I looked through the variety of flavors and asked for samples. Gold star to him! I finally decided on a double scoop of peach and it was delicious! Kudos on the staffing, kudos on the ice cream taste/texture/deliciousness, and kudos on obviously being a favorite place for the local community. I have been here over the summer and the kids that waited on us were really friendly. If you asked me to review this place a year ago when I lived on campus square I would have given it 2 stars. I don't know if the one "rude girl" still works there but it was always such a struggle to get a chocolate shake made without an eye roll. Once a friend of mine who is a very sweet, calm person got in argument with "rude girl" about her attitude problem. Perhaps she's still lingering around giving people dirty looks but I haven't seen her. I might have to update this. Besides "rude girl" they have awesome milkshakes and great ice cream when there is no attitude. They have a nice patio area in the square where you can sit and enjoy the weather or take a stroll around Lehigh's beautiful campus. read more

I used to frequent their other location when I was a student at Lehigh before this one existed and I have very fond memories of it. As I am in town with my boyfriend and want to show him around, we decided to take advantage of the 84 degree weather we're having today and go get a scoop each. I must say I was disappointed - mainly by the service. The girl serving the ice cream had a poor attitude and really ruined the experience for all of us. The old location allowed up to 2 flavors in a small cup (1 very large scoop) and she very rudely told me no when I asked for 2 flavors here.
