I went with my colleague from work. I love supporting local spots. It's a nice environment. A place you could work or meet in. There is parking available. I ordered a chai tea and got the last slice of strawberry cake there. The tea was flavorful and the right temperature. I saved the cake for later. The staff was friendly. What a great meal! I didn't know what to expect coming in, but I sure loved the variety on the menu! It's a great little cafe to stop at for a quick bite and the soups all sounded REALLY good. I really loved the fact that they had Vietnamese options too. I opted for a BBQ chicken flatbread with onions and cheddar. This sandwich was pure chefs **kiss**! The flatbread was warm and soft and the chicken was tender and the perfect amount of BBQ sauce. The cheddar went perfectly with it and the crunch of the sautéed onions and lettuce fit in perfectly. I had a choice of a few sides but opted for the bean salad which I was very happy with! The staff was super nice and helpful when I was a bit indecisive on what to get. I work downtown, so I eat. Here a lot! The food is always fresh and delicious! I love the tuna salad lettuce wraps, the black bean burgers, and the pho. Sooo good! Mun, the owner, is so sweet! I walked in this place as whim just to get a water then I decided to stay for lunch. The owner's special recipe for turkey chili was so good and the garlic pretzel sticks could stand on their own, also brilliant! It kept me warm, was hearty and the quality of the pretzels and the chili had me bringing my friends and family back to try them. It is by far the best pretzel I have ever had. The chili easily makes my top 5 if not the #1 spot. An added bonus were the prices, the meal wwas extremely reasonable and for the quality of food I was more than willing to pay. With all of the many places to eat in quaint Bethlehem, this little shop buried into the same mall that fronts Begley's Bethlehem Brew Works may get overlooked. But after stopping in for the first time this weekend, they're now a staple when in the area. I had their Veggie Burger (not to be confused with their Bean Burger) with a side of 5-bean salad. The burger, which I had with just onions and lettuce -- was very tasty. When I first ordered it I thought that maybe I should have asked for some ketchup or even cheese as these things tend to be a little dry, but it was very good on it's own and moist. The star was the roll/bun, which like all of their breads are baked right on the spot. The salad was tasty and vinegary yet sweet and chilled just right. My wife had a brussels sprout salad, which she enjoyed. The dressing was very light and while she's not a huge fan of cold, raw-ish sprouts (she prefers hers a little more on the mushy side) she finished it and thought it was very good. We split a plate of the Vegetarian Spring Rolls, which were HUGE! Three of them took up an entire plate, and they were packed with lettuce, noodles, avocado, carrots, a pickle/cucumber and many flavors. The mint was the only taste that seemed a little out of place on the rolls (which I think is what made my wife give up on them) but I didn't mind. The spicy peanut dipping sauce was delicious and there was plenty for the whole dish. There are many options for all types of eaters. We didn't save room for dessert, but their pretzels (made in house) and their ice cream looked amazing. Will need to stop back soon for certain. read more

An adorable gem in the bethlehem community! One of the very few affordable places to grab food that have fresh, organic, and vegan/vegetarian options. One of my favorite aspects is that there are a variety of foods: smoothies, breakfast/brunch, Vietnamese, ice cream, pretzels, etc... My friends and I went and a single woman manned the whole place; her name is Minh and she was fantastic. She let us try different things for free, answered all questions, and listened to our dietary restrictions so we could eat without problems or worries! Best vegan summer roll I've had! Came in on a Sunday afternoon when we were looking for a spot for some soup on a chilly day. After searching on Google and Yelp, we decided to check out Stations Cafe. The downtown area in Bethlehem was packed with very enticing places, but we stuck with our gut to try this spot out. We were highly disappointed. We were happy to see a wide selection of soups available. We first ordered two soups with a young gentleman and were told to take a seat at an open table. We watched as other customers who ordered after us received their food first. We asked the gentleman if our soups would be ready soon, and were told it was on the way. At this time, a couple sat to the table next to us, and we watched as someone took their order and were given glasses of water. We have been sitting for 30 minutes at this point and no one provided us with water (the place was not busy at the time). Finally, after waiting 40 minutes, we received our waters and our soups. We have eaten at others places that took this long because they were preparing our bowls of soup from scratch, but this was not the case at Stations Cafe. We watched the staff microwave our soups. Was the soup good? Yes, it was tasty. But definitely not worth the $6 per bowl for microwaved soup that took 40 minutes to be delivered. This review is solely based upon our single time here. I understand that service and the quality of food can fluctuate. My opinion on this establishment reflects how we were treated. Stations Café has been one of my top lunch spots for the past two years and this is not any ordinary cafe! I usually tend to go with my friends because we like the quiet, chill environment but sometimes, I will go alone and get a little treat. I love the location, food, and service. Stations being right in downtown Bethlehem makes it super convenient. Parking usually depends on how busy downtown Bethlehem is; you may be able to park next to a meter out front or nearby. It is great to be able to go into the neighboring shops such as Grandpa Joe's, a popular candy shop nearby, and The Attic, an overpriced thrift shop, and then walk into Stations and get a snack, a meal, or even a nice refreshing cup of boba!! When you first walk into Stations you are automatically greeted by the owner, the nicest lady who always remembers your order with the most welcoming angelic energy. You may notice that the café is small with about 4 booths and a counter for checkout and ice cream choices. There are more seating areas outside, but I would say overall Stations Cafe is a quick stop place for a refreshing refilling meal. The food does not take too long to be made, I would say about 10-15 minutes on a normal day and 25-30 maybe if it is busy. My top food items at stations would have to be the green tea boba and the pho like I said this is not an ordinary café when you have pho. I can hardly put into words how delicious the pho is. You can get it with or without the sauce if you have a lower spice tolerance, I usually get the sauce because I personally do not find it too spicy, and it makes all the difference. Stations very much carries fresh, healthy, and natural foods such as vegan flatbreads ranging from $8-$9, a daily changing soup selection for about $4 a cup, Vietnamese pho for $10 (I'm often left with leftovers though, so it is worth it), Coffee $2, locally made ice cream $2, and all the bread is baked with organic, whole wheat, and vegan materials. I would say the pricing is low-mid I'm never upset about how much money I spent when I eat there, and I always walk out with a to-go box for later. There are some cons to Stations though such as the lack of workers. I feel like I am always seeing the same lady the owner in stations working hard even when it gets super busy, I think she could use some more help. Another con would be the lack of seating. I think if they had more seating areas, they could get many more customers or even have bigger parties of people if you have a bigger family, I recommend calling first if you want to eat inside. Compared to other restaurants on Main Street Bethlehem such as the flying egg, Stations café is the cheaper, more welcoming, and a less crowded option on a busy day in downtown Bethlehem. Overall, this cafe is a suitable place to stop in for something to eat with low to medium prices, healthy vegan options, welcoming staff, and indoor and outdoor seating. When I am craving a cheap warm meal, Stations café is always my go-to. read more

Just tried the Vietnamese pho. I've dined here before (like two years ago, when I was vegan) and I remember loving their spring rolls. The pho was tasty but nothing that blew me away. This is a small cafe with a variety of options for veg and meat eaters alike. I am yet to try their pretzels, but I am certainly looking forward to that. I could not say enough good things about this place. Stopped in on a whim with my mom because I saw they had some vegan (for me) and non-vegan (for my mom) options. I had the Veggie Pita Pocket and my mom had the Lemongrass Chicken. Both of us LOVED our food. It was fresh, cooked to order, flavorful, and SO reasonably priced! They have a variety of items to select from including ice cream and home made lemon-aid (a favorite of mine as well) Typically I go for the turkey chili in a bread bowl. I do like a nice hot spice. Somedays it can be very spicy while others a little milder. Constancy or have options for the consumers: Hot to not so hot. I headed to Station's this weekend for a quick bite to eat and drink. Sadly, I will add my experience to the list of reasons why Main Street is in desperate need of a good cafe (and not another 5 Italian places). I struggle to find something decent to say about the food. I ordered a bowl of soup and a pretzel. My chili had three beans(I counted) and was primarily composed of ground turkey. It came out hot, which is usually appreciated, but I waited 10 minutes for it to cool only to burn my mouth when I tried it. The garlic pretzel that accompanied the soup was awkwardly sweet, tasting primarily of coconut. The garlic bits on top were hard and, in some cases, inedible. The coffee I had after my meal tasted stale (my friend likened it to green beans). Besides the food, I was rather appalled by the service. It comes as no surprise that much of the negative criticism on yelp is directed towards this area. First, my friend and I both ordered soup and a pretzel. They managed to confuse our orders, giving us the wrong pretzels. Now, this isn't something to dock a star over, but its the first of many slights. We had stopped in before and really wanted to try their caboos (pretzel covered oreo). We didn't have menus when the waitress stopped by and she listened carefully as we discussed splitting a single caboo. We decided we should each have one and asked for two caboos. We waited over 20 minutes for the caboos. Eventually, we were so frustrated that we decided to pay and ask for our dessert to go, freeing up our seats in the process. We stood up to wait in line for the register and the one line "chef" approached us. Her brunt manner made us feel as though she thought we were going to dine and dash. Adding injury to insult, we were given two *orders* of caboos rather than two caboos. We were never informed that there was more than one per order. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively. I am all for giving places a second chance, but I will have to wait a good while before I do so. read more

They were made fresh on the spot with basil and mint, and for $10, they were HUGE packed with meat (they were out of shrimp so we had chicken in it) and worth every penny. Salmon burger was good but not nearly as good as the spring rolls. If I were able to order again, I'd nix the hummus and veggie quesadilla, these were baked long enough and came out soggy, and while the chili was good, the breadsticks that it came with were cold, what? I felt like they could've been popped in the oven while the burger buns and quesadillas were getting toasted. But all of the carbs came out lukewarm and soft. Which was a bummer because for a pretzel place, you'd think the standards for toasting would be higher. read more

Also, I really think the prices are reasonable considering they're organic. As a matter of fact, it's on the cheaper side if you think about it. The ones you get at the malls are similar in prices or higher but they aren't organic. I highly recommend this place if you're around the area and want to grab something quick to eat or have lunch.
