Anything more complicated than a basic drink will require a short wait with what numbered buzzer, but service is reasonably quick and friendly. I've had a variety of drinks and smoothies, and all are good. I keep going back to the Turkey wrap with slaw for lunches when I'm here as that's just perfect for me most days. The swing seats and green decore are nice. My understanding is that the owners created the swing seats as a way to help their child focus on eating, and I think they add a unique functional touch to the establishment. What a gem! Green Vida is tucked away in the middle of an outdoor mall. The coil modern structure Inside includes chairs made of swings from the ceiling. They have an amazing healthy menu for all kinds of appetites, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. We ordered the power kale quinoa salad and hibiscus lemonade and passion fruit lemonade. This place is great for something casual and the food is so good and the place has a lot of cute Instagram moments if you're into that. Of course the food is a tad expensive, so that is my only con for this place. We ordered the Caprese, Chipotle Chicken and the Humus Veggie Wrap. They were full of flavor, delicious and freshly prepared. The sandwiches came with a side of coleslaw or chips. For drinks we had cappuccino, latte and the passion fruit juice. Everything was amazing. The coffee was great. The owners have put in a lot of love and attention to detail in this cafe and the menu. The chicken salad had very little flavor, and the sandwich itself was soggy mess. And the sandwiches were on supermarket bread, maybe Arnold or Pepperidge Farm? Not what I would expect for a $10 sandwich. And we were still hungry after we ate. We stopped by to try some fresh food. First of all, the staff is so nice and accommodating to some customization our party needed. Second, the smoothies are SO good. Fresh ingredients you can really tell the quality. We tried an Açaí bowl, which was also very good. Lastly some people in our party tried the chicken saladd wrap, they felt it needed a bit more seasonning, and thought there was too much celery for their taste. Ate here today with my 3 year old son. I had a hummus wrap with was excellent, and a great value. My son had toast with Nutella and banana. I LOVE how they're dealing with COVID-19. Yes, you can eat inside...however, you can also order and pay from a touch screen outside of the restaurant...at which point they bring the food to you. NO NEED to even set foot inside if that is a concern for you. PLUS, I saw an employee clean the screen several times. I felt very comfortable here. Quick backstory: Tropical smoothie café is a chain that's very popular in DC, Maryland and Virginia. My company has been bought out so I am moving to Allentown, PA. I love that everything that was made for my first impression today was absolutely made with love. And I don't give that observation out to just anybody; it has to actually happen. The folks behind the counter definitely make their food as if you were family. I had the turkey sandwich with avocado, side of coleslaw, and a monkey muscle smoothie with coconut and granola! When I bit into the sandwich you can tell that...well... it taste like someone's mom made it; with care and love.
