I'm still mad I didn't get one coming home!. The staff was very welcoming , accommodating and gave us insight on the flavors!!. We ordered the Brown Sugar Boba then I asked about the swirly stuff I saw in some of the drinks! Come to find it's Crème Brûlée (I usually don't do CB) but he suggested to go for it! And Maaaaaan lemme tell you!!! Even more delicious I scrapped mines down on the sides of the cup just to get the last of it to mix in my few sips!!! Definitely Glad we stopped when I go back on Vacation this THEEEE ONEEEE !! . I should've got a larger one ! But this was our first time & I hate wasting money on something! Now we know for our return in a few months!!! You won't be disappointed at all at all !! You can truly taste the flavors!!!

You could get your bubble waffle flavored with red bean or matcha. Or you could get them plain if you wanted. I love being able to choose! Variety is the spice of life! So many options, so many toppings, and so many Asian flavors! I love it! The place is small and only has counter seating along the walls but it's so much better than Wondaffles across the street! The service was nice. The young guy who helped me was so patient and that goes a long way!

What I didn't like that much was the Chasu. It felt overcooked and too chewy. The flavor was ok. Overall solid all around with the exception of the chasu. Naruto buns (duck): Pretty much Peking duck. There's a good amount of duck provided, but maybe too much sauce. Did enjoy this though. Mashed Taro: Decent drink. Aesthetically looks nice. Wasn't a huge fan of the white pearls and would probably go for normal boba in the future. Ambiance is very nice and clean looking. Overall food was pretty good and enjoyable but not amazing. Service was polite for the most part. Service: 4/5 Food: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5

I wouldn't have minded only drinking boba tea. The waitress went to the back and returned saying that the ramen was already gluten free. I'm upset because I think that was a lie, and if not, there must have been soy sauce with wheat in the dish. It looked so pretty and tasted good and the waitress there was kind and didn't know better, but lying about ingredients to someone with dietary allergies is awful. And now this server may continue to misinform people. I had such a bad flare-up and I have never experienced that with soy or with rice noodles or anything before.

For some reason, every mochi ring location we visit never has any variety regardless of the time of day, so we have been trying around different mochi business. We purposely drove an hour hoping this business had more than one flavor available (which is our usual problem), and we actually went a bit later in the day. This location had all of the flavors available in, so we were stuck getting a box of the same donut. The person who served us was extremely polite. He heard us talking about our hour drive as we walked out and actually came while we were about to drive off just to thank us for coming that far for 6 mochi rings. Unfortunately I did not catch his name, but he definitely cares about his customers. Overall the mochi rings were really good! They were still fluffy so we knew they were fresh - they turn more on the chewy side when they've been left out for a while. The fruit tea was delicious as well! We will definitely be making the hour drive the next time we are looking for mochi rings! *this location also has wings, and while we didn't get any, they looked really good!*

Upon moving to Downtown Easton, Ciao quickly became one of our go-to spots for quick eats. It's a…read moresmall, clean, and easy-to-order spot located in the heart of downtown. This was always a spot I walked by but never stopped, but after moving here and giving it a shot, I wish I could go back in time. Whether you order a hot sandwich smothered in sauce or a classic cold sub, you're guaranteed a loaded, consistently well-made, delicious sandwich. The attached photos are from today's meal, which was very quick, looked amazing, and tasted even better. We had two of the munchies, the Spicy Garlic Pizza Bites and the Fried Ravioli. Both were tasty and affordable. For the sandwiches, today I got The Balboa (1/2) and my boyfriend got The Italiano (whole). The chicken in The Balboa were delicious, traditional Italian style breaded cutlets. Despite being covered in their sauce and cheese, both the roll and the breading on the cutlets remained perfectly crispy. The bread is always great, and today I opted for the garlic bread semolina which added a great flavor for this sandwich. I got two thumbs up from my boyfriend about The Italiano, I couldn't really get a word from him while he was eating because he was loving this sandwich so much. I asked him if it was "better than Wawa", and if looks could kill, I wouldn't be writing this right now. His face said, "you didn't even just ask me that". Besides our successful meal today, I also wanted to share an amazing service experience I had at Ciao last week. The shop was packed, and I ended up waiting around 20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't think much of it to be honest...Given how busy they were, the employees were clearly focused, working very hard, and turning out one amazing looking sandwich after another. When my order was ready, the owner (or manager) handed me my bag, apologized for the wait, and insisted I take a free dessert from their fridge. I hadn't complained and honestly didn't mind waiting, but that gesture spoke volumes. Some might see waiting as an inconvenience worth some sort of refund/reward, but given all of the circumstances I noted earlier, I see that as a sign of a small business thriving. So, to me, this gesture showed me how much they truly value their customers and how committed they are to creating a positive experience worth returning to. The fact that they went above and beyond only confirmed why Ciao has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. And can't forget... the cheesecake was also great! So whether you're ordering eat in and sitting outside enjoying Downtown, doing take out for pick up, or ordering to-go from online, I highly recommend Ciao for a tasty sandwich, great side options, and wonderful service.
