This is one of my favorite places to make a detour to. It is a quiet spot on a little block and if you drive too fast you will miss it. Service is very friendly and as sweet as their desserts. It is so hard to pick just one so I take a few for the road. Excellent vegan desserts!

Amazing vegan cake! They cakes are so gorgeous and polished, but they also taste as great as they look. I wish I lived closer, but also if I did that would actually probably be a problem because I'd go too much!

It doesn't look like much from the outside but the sweet baked goods wafted outside the door. When you walk in the oven gooey smell of baked good overtakes anything you are thinking about. The staff is super friendly they have every flavor cake you can think of and a wide variety of gluten free cakes.

My friends and I tried the doughnuts, a strawberry cheesecake cannoli, banana oat chocolate cookie, and a very yummy banana cheese cake. The whipped topping on the cheesecake was so fluffy and like nothing I've tasted before. The cookie was so moist and rich. My friends also really liked their treats. A great shop to stop in if you're in the area.

My philosophy in life: I just don't want to look back and think, I could've eaten that!! @vegantreats #vegantreats Vegan Treats is located in Bethlehem, PA. It was founded by Danielle Konya. As a vegan baker, she wanted to make treats that tasted better that non-vegan cakes and sweets. And as a foodie visitor for the second time to her bakery, she has certainly succeeded at creating phenomenally delicious treats for ALL. I will say, I'm partial to her chocolate creations. A vegan is a person who doesn't eat any animal products, including animal milks. As a person with IBS (stomach issues) & who's lactose intolerant, vegan treats are gentler on my stomach. Eating vegan and vegetarian is more environmentally friendly. There's less pollution making vegan food, and even eating vegan or vegetarian once or twice a week, would benefit our planet I've a purely meat eater friend who was very apprehensive about trying vegan food, even he enjoyed these treats, if that tells you something. Hope our latest adventure has taught you something and/or entertained you. Please always remember to travel often, eat and live deliciously.

So happy we found this place for our son. A bit pricey but worth every penny. If you are Vegan or have a dairy allergy like my toddler, it can be extremely difficult finding a bakery like this one. The donuts and treats they sell are so freaking good. I had my Fiancé try one and he is very opposed to dairy free treats. He LOVED it. He had 2 of the six we bought. Def worth a 5 star review! Writing this post now, I am thinking about how fast I can get back there!

I've been following Vegan Treats on Instagram for quite some time now. These dreamy, luscious vegan delicacies were worth the wait (and the hour drive). Ordering was easy. The glass case at the entrance had everything named and displayed for customer convenience. The employees were attentive and ready to assist. I ordered Peanut Butter Cup cheesecake (forgot to take a picture so you won't see it in my review), Hazelnut Praline cheesecake on a stick and Lemon cheesecake. It still blows my mind that everything they make is vegan. Out of the three, the lemon was the top flavor in my opinion. Coming in second place is the Peanut Butter Cup. Both of these were very rich in flavor and texture. My least favorite was the hazelnut praline on a stick because I could taste the stick with each bite. Perhaps it was because it sat in my fridge for a little over 24 hours. In the future, I'd love to try their cookies, brownies and chocolate bars. They also had a drink cooler and merchandise available for purchase. Everything was really cute! I'm going to rave about my experience with Vegan Treats to family and friends and I'm most definitely coming back during my next visit to Bethlehem.

Seriously THE best! It's been 3 or 4 years since I tried pastries from Vegan Treats at a festival in Lancaster. We waited in line for probably an hour. I should have known then. Everything looked so good, I could barely decide. I ended up getting donuts, cake, Danish, and cookies. I got their card and thought when the hell am I ever gonna be in Bethlehem, PA??? I wasn't sure I'd ever have these delicacies again. Fast forward to two weeks ago. As soon as I realized we would be even remotely near Bethlehem I told my friends we MUST go. If this was 2003, I would have printed out the map mapquest directions! The quality of the pastries just as good, if not better, than I remember. Years ago I bought the cowboy cookie and cheese danish. I was happy to see they were still on the menu and available when we arrived around 530 on a Friday night. I also ordered two strawberry pies because I couldn't decide and didn't wanna choose. The strawberry key lime cheesecake had what looked like strawberry printed paper (edible of course) and the crust was buttery. It was my absolute favorite! But the strawberry cream pie was SO creamy and I'm still wondering how that works without dairy. Mind blown! The crust was also this corn but crumbly like graham cracker (clearly I'm terrible at describing) thing that was delicious! The only thing I wouldn't order again is the red velvet bun. It was too dense and too cocoa-y for my liking. I will patronize this business every chance I get!

Loveee loveeee loveeeeeeee this place! I first discovered their donuts in a restaurant in NY. I tried the boston cream donut and was blown away! I had to know where the donut came from. On a trip to PA one day we stopped in and got a little bit of everything. This has now become my favorite vegan spot even much so that I will drive the 2 hours just to go there. This visit I picked up a cake for my birthday. I was sad that they only offer the donuts on the weekend. If you have not tried this place yet you much stop in even if you are not vegan. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable so they will always give you a hand and make suggestions.

I wouldn't recommend! The items are very overpriced, owners are rude. Spend your money elsewhere.

With a comfortable one mile walk from Wind Creek Casino, I treaded on the greenway taking a much needed scenic route away from the ting-ting-ting slot action of the casino. Donerds was clean, modern and cartoonish in style! It was enjoyable and artsy! A comfortable nook with a mannequin that I had mistaken for a customer until I came into the store. So many choices ! They have a cannoli donut! Wow! I really wanted the crème brûlée donut but settled for the glazed one. With first bite, there was sugar but not overwhelming sweetness! I was glad for that! The donut is yeast raised and soft, fresh, and fluffy. Prices are affordable. The glazed set me back $2.25. There are also French macarons and fancier donuts too. I felt I wanted to try one of the basics to get a feel. I didn't spy any jelly donuts though, but an interesting cherry pistachio fancy one! The one employee was very nice! I thought for sure the donut would have a wax paper to grab it but nope just bare bones donut in a bag! Still, I was very satisfied! It was worth the trek!

I found Donerd's Donuts while scrolling aimlessly and immediately added it to my "Adventures To Be…read moreHad" list. While in the area, I decided to stop in and see what all the hype was about. Fun fact: I had tried the Jim Thorpe location the day before and nearly cried into my coffee--only 4 lonely donuts left in the entire shop. Thankfully, the Bethlehem location came through in a big way! Donerd's is a classic donut-and-coffee shop--nothing else. Limited inside seating, quick service, and designed to get you your sugary fix and on your way. If you want to sit for a minute, there are public benches nearby, perfect for devouring your treats in the sunshine. They rotate their menu weekly, with "first/third/fifth week" flavors and "second/fourth week" flavors, plus a donut of the week. Luckily, my targets--the bacon maple and Nutella maple pecan--are weekly favorites. Walking in and seeing a case full of donuts waiting for me was pure joy. The bacon maple donut: fluffy, perfectly soft donut, smooth maple frosting, and a generous sprinkle of crumbled bacon perched on top. A classic done right. The Nutella maple pecan donut: oh my goodness. This thing was an ALL-STAR. Heavy, decadent, and packed full of Nutella filling in every single bite--no gaping, empty donut holes here. Topped with maple frosting and chopped pecans, each bite was heavenly. I may or may not have eaten the whole thing in one sitting while consoling myself with the box's encouragement: "You deserve a donut." Total damage: $8. Worth. Every. Penny. Slightly more than a big chain (you know the one that starts with Dun and ends with kin), but the freshness and quality make it 100% worth it. No on-site parking, but plenty of free street parking on Sundays. Staff were polite and efficient--pointed in service, but that's fine; I didn't come to chat, I came to eat donuts. If you're in Bethlehem and craving donuts that make your taste buds do backflips, Donerd's is your stop. Just get there early if you have your eye on a specific flavor...some of the others were already sold out by 1:30pm on Sunday.

I did not get the chance to meet Jay, but the girl at the counter was very friendly and understanding when I said I want a breakfast sandwich and I don't want to have to try and pronounce it . So this sandwich is ... really friggen good. Creamy scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, scallion, and a hash brown on a Malasada with sriracha aioli and a sweet cream drizzle. This was absolutely the creamiest breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The texture of the eggs was awesome, and the bacon being chopped up throughout was really nice because it was far easier to eat than having to chew through full slices and break them up. The sriracha adds a really pleasant dimension and flavor and the Malasada was a nice change of pace, no matter how much I love a fresh Kaiser roll. I'll definitely be back to try the sweet Malasada's and the burger they're doing for lunch now but I will say for now that Aloha Jay's absolutely - Didn't Suck!

Oh, and there's no shortage of free parking at this restaurant. First off, the picture on the menu showed a little bowl for the onion stew, whereas what I got was onion stew spread over the chicken. The red beans and plantains were fine, but the yellow rice lacked any discernible flavour which was disappointing.
