This place is so cute and such a unique experience. Took my daughter and she loved it! They have pastries, cookies, brownies, macarons, cup cakes, etc...that you can go in to purchase. But we went for the afternoon tea experience. It was so good! The woman who helped us was so nice and explained the teas for us and suggested teas for us to try. I got the chocolate lovers tea, which was so good. My daughter got a chai tea, which she enjoyed. The finger food they had was so cute and tasty. I loved the little chicken salad sandwiches! Overall, very cute and definitely an experience worth doing with your daughter or friend.

Love love love this place. We came for afternoon tea on Easter Saturday. We called ahead and they were able to accommodate us being gluten free plus my nut allergy. We did the traditional tea service with everyone getting a pot of tear, an assortment of finger sandwiches, scones and desserts. Everything we had was so good. I particularly loved the chicken salad and I usually hate chicken salad. The scones with the cream and lemon curd were so good as well. Inside is super cute and we got to see the Easter bunny.

This cute little bakery is my favorite in the valley! I've been to several afternoon tea locations and this is the best by far. The food is fresh and delicious with a great combination of sweet and savory. They also do such an amazing job with the themes each month. I've been to 4 and they do such a phenomenal job decorating the entire bakery as well as creating the food to fit the theme. Many other afternoon tea places charge a lot for a very small amount but not here. The price is very fair for the amount of food you get along with the tea variety. I have so much fun every time I go and can't wait for the new themes each month.

The best cupcake I've had in a long time!!! My favorite cupcake used to be in Flemington, NJ but they shut down years ago & I've never been able to find anything comparable until today! Hallelujah! The shop is cute. Lots of seating for a bakery. Festively decorated. Fun. Lots of selections from tiny cakes to macarons to brownies to cookies. The young dude who helped me greeted me with a smile. You can never go wrong with a pleasant attitude, right?!?

From the moment I stepped into this bakery that also serves tea, I felt transported to a world of tranquility. The International decor, varied beautiful and ornate tea pots and tea cups and relaxing music created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, just right for afternoon tea. Even though it was a busy day our table received lots of attention and we were able to enjoy every moment. The tea selection is impressively extensive and thoughtfully curated, with each leaf offering a unique and delightful flavor. Generous amounts of tea are offered so that you can try every flavor you are interested in! I especially enjoyed the cream tea with its smooth rich taste. The service is impeccable; our servers were not only knowledgeable, they were also incredibly attentive, and authentically passionate about our whole tea experience. This tea room is a treasure! There are traditional as well as vegan and gluten free options. The desserts are PHENOMENAL!! Do not miss this experience!

All baking is done on the premises and most importantly it's woman owned! The service was spectacular. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and we chatted about everything under the sun. She was very personable and polite. Her bakery items was tasty and moist. Just the way I like it. She also allowed me to try her new ricotta cookie, which was a wildcard for me. Went to my surprise. I enjoyed it. I also appreciate it. The Biscoff biscuit cookie. The crunch was amazing. She ships nationwide so I will be sending my family out out of town a few boxes in the near future overall, I give my experience a 10/10 and I will absolutely make this might go to bakery.

I called in advance to make sure they reserved 2 for me to take back to Brooklyn. Great find although I wanted to say hello to the owner Eileen, who was very gracious on my last visit. I was sad she had already left for the day. We came later in the evening so I understand. The best ingredients and everything is made with love. We also brought back the lemon lavender blueberry scones and the Fruit Filled Coffee Cake. They do custom orders and everything we have tried has been awesome. If I lived out here I'd probably come by no less than once a week. I highly recommend them, and if you a fan of chocolate and peanut butter you MUST try the decadent chocolate brownies!

They ended up not enjoying it, so that's why there's some missing and none of us wanted to eat it anymore! Spoke to Suzi when picking up the cake and explained to her that the cake would not be eaten on the day of, but instead two days later. The cake was for September 1st and that happened to be Labor Day so I had to pick it up earlier! She said, "That's fine," and it can be stored in the fridge for up to a week and in the freezer for up to three months. So, not sure why there's a sense of judgement, cakes should be able to be stored for longer periods of time! And we wanted to order from a bakery specifically, since it was a special occasion. Not sure what your reference to a "squished" cake has to do with it food will accumulate residue in containers overtime! 9/12/25 From seeing professional pictures online of the beautiful cakes on Google Reviews of Suzi Cakes and good reviews on Yelp, I genuinely thought that the red velvet cake I ordered over the phone with Suzi would be amazing. Boy, was I wrong. I had to throw out the cake after 6 days because no one wanted to eat it anymore. We gave some part of the cake away to a relative, so we didn't consume much...not sure if they enjoyed it either. There were 'red' flags that I noticed when placing an order with Suzi. I chose to ignore them because I needed a nicely catered cake for my sister's birthday. Suzi sounded very direct over the phone and sometimes dismissive, so I felt that I needed to truly know and prepare for how I wanted my cake each time I called. I could not go in person to explain or show pictures due to the distance from her business in East Hanover. Suzi gave me the listed price of $90, and I personally thought it was overpriced for a 7-inch, single-tiered cake. I originally did not want to place with Suzi, but I could not find a place around me that would do a red velvet cake legitimately, besides Coco Luxe Cakes in Peapack and Gladstone. Coco Luxe discontinued their red velvet cakes, unfortunately, which is the cake I truly needed, hence why I ordered here. Next, trying to find the suite number and building for this place was a nightmare, another red flag. It's very tight behind some train tracks and very easy to miss. Thank goodness for advanced technology and Google Maps/Street View for helping me navigate. I called Suzi on the phone so she could service me at the front desk to get the cake. I picked up the cake and truly believed that I would make my sister's birthday special, and I planned everything perfectly. I stored the cake in the fridge for 2 days before eating and followed all of Suzi's storage directions. We tried the cake and it was awful. It had a fermented-like taste, and we could not eat it. I saw a similar review on Yelp of someone having Suzi make their cake for their wedding, and their wedding guests could not eat it; it was that bad. I was hoping that would not happen to me, but it did, surely. The icing was hard, dry, and chunky; the cake itself lacked flavor. I got a red velvet cake from ShopRite in July for $16.99, and it tasted way better; just the cake was a little dry. I called Suzi to give her some feedback so she knows. She informed me to come back so she could examine the taste, but at that point, we threw the cake out. $90 truly wasted. Can't really ask for a refund, I guess, because I never came back to her about it, because her location is almost an hour from my house...not sustainable for me. Despite the good reviews, I will never go to Suzi Cakes again. I will stick with another recommendation I got from a relative for Coco Luxe in Peapack if I want a professionally made cake from a bakery. My sister's birthday was ruined, and no one in my family liked the cake. The price for the cake was outrageous, and compared to other local bakeries in the area, the price does not justify the taste. The presentation of the cake is good, but the taste is abysmal. Save yourself, your palate, and your wallet by looking elsewhere!

Suzi Cakes could not have been nicer or more accommodating with just 2 weeks notice. The communication was so simple, professional, and pleasant. They delivered the cake exactly when they said (in the pouring rain) and even placed the topper and flowers on it before leaving! And then the cake itself...oh my yum! We did Vanilla with Oreo Mousse filling and it was DELICIOUS. The cake was so soft, fluffy, and flavorful. And the filling was awesome! I know I've found my new bakery for future events!!! Thank you Suzi Cakes!
