    Fresh macaroons

I started traveling to this area to get my nails done and always spot restaurants and shoppes that look good and this one just sounded good. I looked it up and knew i had to check it out. I finally decided to spot by for some treats with my son today. It was so cute and clean inside & smelled delicious we tried three macaroons, my favorite was the cookies & cream. My son loved vanilla and we both were not into the salted caramel. But they were so fresh and delicious! I also got the boston creme and almond delicatessens. Top notch presentation and also super delicious!! What a great treat! I will def be back to pick up some treats for myself and friends in the future!

Wow chef Alan was so friendly and welcoming. I got one dozen of macarons and a chocolate truffle gift box. Let me tell you The macarons are better than NYC, and a lot bigger. Delicious. I will be back for sure for more. Keep up the good work. Thank you for making my anniversary perfect.

Signature Cake with all edible decorations

Ordered a Signature Cake for a Christmas party and it was delightfully delicious that it became its own legend! Chef Alan's creation was a beautiful balance of lightness, sweetness, and of course chocolate! I thought having so much chocolate would make it a dense and super sweet, but I was wrong. All items and decorations on the cake were edible, and a 10" cake served 20 people easily! Chef Alan also made the process of ordering and customizing the cake so easy. I trusted his recommendations, which did not disappoint. Will definitely be ordering more in the future! Thank you so much Dolce Patisserie and Chef Alan!

Sometimes it's truly hard to believe a place can be that good when you see nothing but five star reviews year after year. But then again, some places are run with such quality, standards and customer service that you understand immediately that they are head and shoulders above everyone else in the area. Over several visits to DP I've bought for various people: - Chocolate lollipops - Chocolate dipped pretzel rods - Various flavors of chocolates such as coffee, peanut butter, cookies & cream plus others. - Most importantly the Dolce Patisserie Signature Cake which is pictured at the below link and is a chocolate cake with a layer vanilla creme brulee, fresh raspberries and chocolate mousse www.dolcepatisserie.com/Cakes.html There are many other things offered as well along with the ability to go about as custom as you want particularly within the cake realm. The one item I want to focus on is the signature cake. It's truly one of a kind. I don't really like chocolate in any form, period. But, the signature cake while it certainly has a lot of chocolate in it is very deceptive in that the chocolate flavor does not overpower the raspberry or the creme brulee flavors. All three are highly discernible and all three play off of each other perfectly. The last thing I need to mention is the man himself, Chef Alan. The guy is great and is always approachable in the shop and he always is quick to thank you for whatever you've purchased. He also went out of his way to make the signature cake that I ordered a day early before the recent blizzard on his "off day" more or less same day with no notice. While he was being modest and saying that it would be no trouble since he was already at the office I appreciate him taking the time to do it and trust me when I say that all who ate the cake (self included) thought it was amazing. (While he did indeed win an episode of the now defunct Food Network Show "Sweet Genius" I've never seen the episode so unlike many who found out about this shop because of the show, I found out about it more via word of mouth from other very happy past customers.) Dolce Patisserie is not to be confused with the Hellertown Bakery as what they offer there is completely different from what is offered here both in terms of style, substance and most certainly price. One look along with one taste of what is being done here and you quickly realize that the people of Hellertown and the LV in general are really lucky to have a high end place like this so close because truly this is the type of stuff you would expect in places like a Ritz-Carlton, a Waldorf, Philly or NYC. Five stars in every way.

A great wedding selection, I have never seen a wedding dessert or cake go so quickly.

What can I say, this place and Alan are fantastic. I have been using them for a few years for corporate gifts for work and personally for his croissants. Fantastic. More recently I planned my eldest daughters dessert table for her wedding at the Renaissance in Allentown. My daughter did not want a traditional cake as she is gluten free, so we discussed with Alan and he came up with a masterful selection of his macarons in a tower, signature cakes, chocolate covered strawberries and so much more....a HUGE success.

    Macaroons! Delicious!

Still thinking about how delicious these were. I need to plan another visit!! The chocolates were delicious as well!

Chef Alan is always my go to place to order cakes! They are always so beautiful and delicious

If you're looking for chocolate, this is hands down the best place to come. Chef Alan creates edible works of art that are simply delicious. We've been coming for years are never disappointed. The signature cake has become our staple for birthday parties. It's hard to leave with just one item as you'll want to eat the entire store!

Why can't we do Six Stars? What we tried today: Ordered 8 truffles (all PERFECT) Chocolate dipped pretzels (had to do it for the kids...perfect chocolate) 5 assorted deserts (Lemon tart = prefect, Chocolate bag with Banana cream= perfect and subtle, Chocolate bomb with raspberry and orange cream = perfect) Chocolate croissants = perfect. My mind is BLOWN that I found this place in Heller-freakin'-town, PA?!?!?!? I have lived in NYC, London, Florence, San Francisco, and Napa and I found this level of Patisserie HERE??!?!?!?! Holy-Mother-Thank-You-Goddess of Chocolate for moving our family to PA! (I can't believe I just said that!) Seriously, this place is sooo OUT OF PLACE that it makes it a dream-come-true. Once you walk outside of this chocolate heaven and you look around the deary Hellertown strip-mall parking lot you think you just stepped out of the Matrix or something...seriously. It is THAT beautiful inside. Thanks to the recent Food Network, Sweet Genius airing (yes, the Hellertown Chef really won!) I had to zoom by. My daughter's 5th birthday treat (yes, she is a foodie too) was to go to, "The chef who won mommy!" shop and pick out our sweets. Also, the chef was there, was charming, and informative and even posed with pictures with my star-struck daughter (it is hard to impress a five year old!) If you haven't been go NOW. and don't you DARE complain about the price on ONE SINGLE THING. This level of quality is amazing. The level of skill is worth the price alone. The tastes and textures will have you coming back again and again. Isn't your mouth worth it?

I did not get the chance to meet Jay, but the girl at the counter was very friendly and understanding when I said I want a breakfast sandwich and I don't want to have to try and pronounce it . So this sandwich is ... really friggen good. Creamy scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, scallion, and a hash brown on a Malasada with sriracha aioli and a sweet cream drizzle. This was absolutely the creamiest breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The texture of the eggs was awesome, and the bacon being chopped up throughout was really nice because it was far easier to eat than having to chew through full slices and break them up. The sriracha adds a really pleasant dimension and flavor and the Malasada was a nice change of pace, no matter how much I love a fresh Kaiser roll. I'll definitely be back to try the sweet Malasada's and the burger they're doing for lunch now but I will say for now that Aloha Jay's absolutely - Didn't Suck!

Beer wise I had a Main 2 Main pilsner which was average and a Coconut Silent Partner, which is - "Silent Partner, our chocolate stout which is rested on organic Ecuadorian Cacao Nibs, is then infused with coconut. The deep chocolate, roasted and caramel notes blend well with the slight sweetness of the added coconut." I thought the Coconut Silent Partner was above average and very well put together. They kept a lot of the buildings older character so it'll appear as a "hole in the wall", but I found it warm and cozy. The menu has all of your breakfast standards, but also includes crepes. The lunch/dinner part consists of burgers, hotdogs, pierogies, tacos, chicken tenders and sandwiches. On the sweet side they have house-made baked goods, ice cream, sundaes, banana splits and milkshakes. My son and I stuck with breakfast. I had coffee and "The Shirley Special" - 2 eggs, 1 slice bacon, 1 slice thick French toast, breakfast potatoes $9.50. My son had a Turkey Hill chocolate milk, two eggs and a bagel. The Shirley was a good portion for the price. Everything was fresh and came out quick. My only nitpick was the bagel with my sons meal. It was a plain jane supermarket type of bagel. A place like this needs to serve some fresh local bagels! The coffee was a simple and tasty black roasted blend. Breakfast for two at $20 wasn't bad. The bathroom located in the back was small, but clean. I'd definitely return when traveling through the area. Thanks guys!
