Sweet is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds…read more Some may think the decor is a bit much with its multitudes of knick-knacks and colors, but makes for a fun. It's as if I was a kid again eating an imaginary meal at a play set. But the meal is far from imaginary... With a limited menu that changes regularly, they prepare rich meals of both quality and quantity. I had a sausage and potato stuffed omelet with carmelized onions that was a very delicious monster. Quite often, home fries are either greasy, or over-cooked, or even over-seasoned, but these were perfect. It seemed as if they had just pulled the potatoes from the ground that morning. My girlfriend had the best, "meatiest" tomato soup I have ever tasted, and her gourmet grilled cheese blew my mind. (If I didn't love her so much, I would have stolen it from her!) For dessert, we had white-chocolate raspberry cookies that were yummy beyond reproach. (The cakes in the dessert display may bring people to tears.) The service was also wonderful and the coffee really hit the spot. Reservations recommended and there is parking in the rear of the establishment.

I'm extremely disappointed with a cake I ordered from this bakery and how it turned out. I provided…read morea very clear reference photo of what I wanted and unfortunately, the cake I received looked nothing like the picture I ordered from. I ordered this cake specifically to use for my daughter's birthday pictures, and unfortunately, I couldn't even use it for the photos because it looked so bad. That was incredibly disappointing, especially for such an important milestone. I completely understand that handmade cakes may have slight differences from a reference photo, but this was far beyond a minor variation. I expected the cake to at least resemble the design I paid for, and it simply didn't. My husband picked up this cake which is about 8 minutes from the house and by the time he got home 2 of the bows fell off. I would not order another cake from here and I hope they take customer reference photos more seriously in the future. If you are ordering based on a specific design, I would strongly recommend making sure they can actually replicate the quality and appearance shown before placing your order. Truthfully, I could've done a better job and I have 0 cake decorating experience.
