It was the first treatment of my home with Berrett and I can't recommend enough. They were able to answer all the questions that I had and put together a plan that would work for my family and I. First service went as explained and they did a lot more then my past company. We went over what to do on our end to help with the process and after a few days there is a significant decrease in activity. Also the ant issues we have had seem to have died down. I have had the technician come out over 6 times in the past three months for continued pest problems. The product seems ineffective. I asked kindly to get out of the contract so I could use another exterminator. I was told they would come and respray anytime I ask. I really think that the number of visits is excessive and would really like release from the contract. We still have huge roaches and spiders in the house. With past providers, this was never seen. If you saw a roach, it was dead from crossing an entry point that was sprayed. Please also note that this home was sprayed, cabinets and all, before the addition of any dishes, etc. as we were just moving in. Also, I paid for an exclusion which was not properly done. When I called the company, they said there is no record of the exclusion. I gave the representative a cancelled check from my technician with the words "exclusion" clearly written in the memo section of the check. My only hope now is that they release me from the contract without a cancellation fee because none of this is my fault. I am so very sorry that I did not read the google reviews on this company before hopping on the angieslist coupon. My husband and I were so busy with the move that we really did not research as we should have. read more

This company does not work. Do not use. They came out and fogged the front and back seemed legit. Mosquitos went away from maybe two days. Then they set these buckets out and say that keeps them away. I have a little garden and tables where we sit out and we told them this is where we hang. So the guy Nathan puts buckets right next to the table and said this would work. Two weeks later I call and complain and the lady said the bucket is supposed to be away from where you hang because it attracts them. So they send the guy out he moves the buckets and they said he would reapray to help. He did my front lawn only and left. He didn't know I was home watching so I call and complain. He came back next day. I've had this company four months and have seen no change. So I call and cancel and they immediately charge me 217 dollars. Including last and next months. Decided to use them for pest treatment through a Groupon. I am glad I only spent the 40 bucks (also had a discount code) as they failed to eliminate a single bug! Was told to expect additional bugs to come out of the woodwork as they fled from the spray. Weeks go by and continue to see more bugs including ants. Bugs on the ceiling. Bugs in the shower. Everywhere. Seems I could have done better just purchasing bug bombs and a fraction of the cost. Contacted service regarding the issue and still without resolve. They do not care about their customers. They do not stand behind their products. Will look elsewhere for future services. Do not recommend wasting your money with these guys even with discounts. And to think, they tried to upsell me for annual treatment. Sure, why not, as their normal treatment was a waste of my time and money. read more

I signed a one year contract, they have yet to keep our ant and roach problem under control. I tried cancelling my contract to take my business elsewhere but that can't happen until I honor the contract, who cares if they don't honor their side of the contract. Been under contract for a year. I called and asked to come do a treatment for mosquitos and was told that it was a separate service, at extra charge. I was told that their sales person should have explained that to me. The mosquitos was one of the reasons why I requested the service and the sales person clearly said it was included. I found their field service staff to be helpful and knowledgeable, but their billing is askew. I prepaid for the quarter for services and was billed for this last visit. When I called the office to inquire, I was informed that the staff person on hand was not authorized for refunds (okay, understandable) and that I would be contacted within some extended window of time tomorrow (because... meetings). This is the second time there was a "miscommunication" as they would like to call it. I received a call at 437pm for my 6pm appointment. I literally get home at 530pm every day. When I called because my appointment had been inconveniently scheduled without me confirming this date was good the lady told me that the other person doesn't work there anymore. I could care less about that person. I just want the services I signed a contract for done! The rep told me the technician could be out at 6pm on Monday just for the technician to arrive at 437p. They are definitely good about NOT keeping their word. So now just my little front yard was treated. Not the backyard because it was locked because of course I thought I'd be home by the time the technician would be here so I can open the backyard to be treated also. I called and stayed on hold for over 20 minutes and hung up. A "supervisor" called back with a whole bunch of excuses. Mam I do not want to hear that. Mind you the whole time she is talking over me. What great customer service! Not sure how we can effectively communicate talking over one another. I just want my service completely done! Then she offered $25 off. I do not want a discount. I want communication and a follow through! Needless to say I will be canceling my contract with this company and going elsewhere to someone that communicates and can work with my schedule. A couple weeks ago I wrote a not so good review however I gave a 3 star due to the fact that I wasn't given the information from the start on how to tackle our problem from the get go. After Several months and a few hundred dollars later we still had issues with roaches. So I canceled the service and was done. I received a call from Darren and was promised a refund of $107.00 with a promise to have his technician to come back out and do the job "That should have been done already" his admission after reviewing my case. I called him after almost 2 weeks and he said "Give it a couple more days due to weekend" I added I wasn't going forward until I see my refund. Here it is almost 4 weeks later no refund and 3 unanswered calls or not even a return call. I was also asked to update my bad review and I just totally deleted it because of the promises he made. Well here is my updated review. They suck and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!! Save your money and go with a more reliable company! We will never use them again! They do a great job the first time, then lock you into a contract only to give you subpar work afterwards. I paid for quarterly service that should have included outside and inside spraying. Once in the contract was signed, spraying inside became "COMPLIMENTARY". Not happy at this point ....They started out ok ... and basically went down hill from there. Continue to see insects and we had dropping in the pantry and the tech did not give us an exact answer on what the problems was. So, he set up some huge traps along with the sticky pads.. doing the duration we never caught anything on the traps.... go figure!!! that's one problem . NEXT PROBLEM ... they always came and only sprayed the outside.... (the issue was inside)... So I begin to request at least a hour to 30 min phone call upon arrival so I can give them access inside my house .... well that didn't work. after the REP said they would call before they arrive... I mean really .. an all day window to come.. who does that!!??? LAST ... I was told by the TECH ... and The REP earlier in my contract that once it expire its done....contract end ... 3 months later I see a charge on my account I didn't request them to come out or say "hey I want to continue my service" ..... LONG STORY SHORT. Make sure you get a physical copy and read your agreement... if you plan to cancel DO IT "30" days ahead of time. BE AWARE they will continue your AGREEMENT after your initial contract end! OH YEAH, you may have to make an EXTRA effort if you want the inside of your home sprayed! other than that, the are pretty decent read more

They have the worst customer service EVER. I placed numerous calls to their office due to scheduling errors and missed appointments. I spoke the manager who was kind enough to try and help resolve issues that she obviously did not personally make. They still continued to make scheduling errors and the last straw was when they charged my account for services they did not provide. Mike was a great technician, however this company is trash.
