We had springtail bugs popping up everywhere, bouncing around like they just got VIP tickets to Coachella. I told Josh other companies came through, sprayed a little Febreze or whatever, and left us still living in Bugapalooza. Josh just smirked, cracked his knuckles like an action hero, and I told him, "Bring out the big guns." Army veteran? Say less, he knew exactly what that meant. Next thing I know, this dude is going full Rambo, spraying every hole, crack, and crevice like he's on a one-man mission to save the world. By the time he was done, the bugs weren't just gone, they called their little bug Uber to move zip codes. Josh is the GOAT. Super friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and he doesn't leave until the job is DONE. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars? Because the company name is still GreenForce. Let's be real... JoshForce deserves its own franchise.

When I called their office and explained to them what had happened all I got was the run around and there was zero accountability. The last person that was supposed to call me was Karen but never heard from her either. At that point I didn't want a full refund, I just wanted a future credit. I felt this was completely unprofessional, I reached out multiple times. Definitely wouldn't recommend their service.

So, after my lengthy review detailing Cypress Critters' lack of response to my warranty request,…read morethey contacted me and let me know they all had COVID-19 and weren't able to respond to texts, emails, or Yelp requests over the previous week. However, they were all better and willing to take care of my warrantied work. Much to my delight, they showed up on Aug. 8th and installed a one way trap over the problem area. They also used quite a bit of that black styrofoam sealant I've heard so much about in other reviews but whatever, it shouldn't be up long right? After install, they told me they'd be back in a week (unless we called them earlier if a squirrel was caught in trap). Great. Well, today is Sep. 5th (Happy Labor Day!) and I haven't heard a damn thing from anyone at Cypress Critters in a month. Maybe they got monkey pox this time? Is Ebola still around? Maybe the plague. Whatever the case, I didn't care to hear anymore excuses or waste another minute trying to get in touch with this unprofessional business. So, I pulled out my ladder, tore off their trap, scraped off all the black styrofoam sealant I could, and dealt with it myself. I'm probably better off, considering some of the god-awful work I've seen in other reviews. 0 stars. I won't be using them again and good riddance. I'd imagine there are much better options anywhere in Houston. Perhaps, other businesses in this field take pride in their work and honor their word. Perhaps.

1-Star Review I've…read morebeen a loyal customer of this company for nearly two years and never had a rude interaction--until today. I did not schedule my quarterly service due to illness and being directly impacted by the government shutdown. Three days ago, my card was charged without my authorization, and I later found a note on my door saying they completed the outdoor service. When I called for clarification, the representative was immediately defensive and dismissive. She repeatedly hid behind "it's in your contract" but couldn't actually answer the questions I asked. According to her, if I don't schedule or answer the phone, they will come out anyway--meaning they'll take their payment regardless of whether my family is affected by the shutdown or dealing with medical issues. To enforce a contract so rigidly while the entire country is facing hardship feels ruthless, unethical, and completely lacking compassion. I will be speaking with a manager, but based on this experience, my trust in this company has been severely damaged. Customers deserve understanding--not condescension and automatic charges. I expected better.

They came the first time to set up the trap and told us they would return to retrieve the raccoon, if trapped. So we paid them $189 for this service. My husband was never told that additional fee ($65) would be collected for them to come back to retrieve the animal. The lady in the office claimed that was a misunderstanding. We would say this is a misleading or scam to customer. When we didn't agree to pay $65 for them to remove the raccoon, the tech said he would release the raccoon in our backyard!!!! After arguing with the tech and the lady in the office, he agreed to take the animal with him. We recommend not to use this company. If you are desperate to use them; make sure they spell out all the policies (fees, follow-up, warranty period, etc.) In writing.

It slowly got worse with time until we realized that our own attempts to get rid of the problem were useless. We scheduled a service with Bugs or Us and have been completely satisfied with what they have provided. Everyone has been incredibly helpful throughout the time of getting our house serviced and their staff has been responsive and detailed in getting our service set up. We purchased the "warranty" with our service as we knew that German roaches are difficult to get rid of and they advised to do so in the event that they kept popping up. If you have ever had German roaches or attempted to get rid of them, then you know one time is not enough especially once you start seeing the little ones crawling around. They have come out three times to service our home. Every experience has been professional and overall great. We still have time left in our 90 days for them to come again and they clearly have no issue with using the warranty. We currently have not seen one roach or even a dead body in a couple of weeks. Love the customer service and the service overall from Bugs or Us. Highly recommend using them!
