For ordering, you'll need to order at the counter before sitting down. After browsing the menu, we decided on the pink vodka pasta and the rich miso pasta (Taiwanese sausage added). American Express is accepted as a payment option. The staff gave us a number to place on the table we sat at but we were free to grab any seat we liked. For seating, there were a few tables for parties of two and limited tables for bigger groups. Keep in mind if you need water or extra napkins, they'll have those near the bar seating. Both the Pink Vodka Pasta and Rich Miso Pasta exceeded our expectations! The miso pasta leans on the creamy side but pairs very well with the pink vodka pasta. The miso pasta didn't come with any protein by default, so we were glad that we added the Taiwanese sausage. Fun fact is that the meatball from the Pink Vodka Pasta is vegan! The portion size was super generous from both dishes and was beyond just two people. I wasn't expecting to discover pasta dishes that I'd consider as one of my favorites from this visit! Grabbed my ride-or-die Koan-Im Oolong Latte and paired it with a donut from my favorite donut shop like I was assembling the perfect duo for a late night snack. The tea was lightly sweetened perfectly to my liking, smooth, and clearly crafted by someone who respects tea leaves more than I respect my sleep schedule. I love their selection of matcha: strawberry with chunks. One of the best I've had! Their blueberry matcha is pretty delicious also. The customer service is great. Everyone is kind and efficient. I'd say the baristas kind of keep to themselves though and aren't overly enthusiastic. But overall, still welcoming & nice! The atmosphere is simple with wood seating areas. I like it. However sitting for a long duration can be a little uncomfortable since there's not much back support, but luckily they have a basket with padded pillows to sit on. Recently they added tables along the corner nook area which is great! Aside from that they have little tray-like table tops to set your drinks on or laptops/books/etc; while working. There's also plenty of outlets which is a plus. Not to mention they always seem to have a good playlist goin' :) Oh! & they have outside seating as well underneath shaded umbrellas. My only complaint is it gets really hot in there during the hotter months. Especially since they're facing south and catch all the direct light early on in the day. Don't get me wrong, I love the natural lighting! It's just more prone to getting hotter & I'm not sure if they have A/C. I'm sure they probably do but it's never been exactly cold in there like most coffee shops, mainly room temperature. All in all Grid is a great spot! I highly recommend :)

The taro flavor was rich, smooth, and creamy with a natural sweetness, and the cheese foam on top made it even better. The slightly salty and creamy foam balanced perfectly with the sweet taro flavor. Such a unique combination and honestly so addictive! Definitely one of my favorite drinks at Ming Cha. The store also has their own house espresso which was a medium dark roast. American Express is accepted as a payment option here. Overall, it was a decent work spot. If I come back, I'd prefer to try another drink and hope other pastries are available.
