    Smokin Veggie wrap. Yum!!

My first time visiting and I was pleased! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a pretty small place with a few bits of quirky decor and a good amount of tables and seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Might be difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues, though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It seems to be a popular spot with both young and old patrons.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's an area at the back with what looked like art supplies and things to keep folks entertained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is semi-tight right outside but it's doable even with a midsize SUV. I got there around noon on a Wednesday and it was a little busy but I was the only one in line for about 5 minutes before I ordered and while I ordered. It took a little longer than I expected to get the wrap I ordered, but I didn't mind. The Smokin' Veggie wrap was VERY good, especially when I added some hot sauce (they have several options by the water station at the back)! And it was a great portion, too! I only ate half there and ate the other half later for a late lunch part 2. I had hoped to get a pastry, but I was a bit disappointed with the pastry selection -- it seemed to mostly be muffins and croissants from Costco and Safeway or something. I didn't get a drink this time, but maybe next time. But the wrap was delish! Thanks!

    Lunch Bagel

A friend recommended this little cafe and it did not disappoint! I couldn't decide if I liked the pastrami or the lunch bagel better. They were just so delicious. I love how the peoperoncini and onions were diced up. Sweet young crew working hard... Thanks y'all! We don't live in Chico but will definitely be back when we are in town again, soon!

    amazingly generous complimentary h2o.

Spectacular bagel witches. Incredible flavors and all around good times with friends and foes at bellachino's. The "Piggly Wiggly" caught my eye and I just HAD to try it. It did not disappoint. The bacon: crisp. The bagel: toasted. The egg: perfect. Will be returning weekly. Nay! Daily. NAY!!!!! HOURLY. XD

    Smokey berry bagel 10/10 recommend

The food and coffee is delicious! Ordered the Smokey berry bagel. Mind blown went at 7am and my food took about 10 minutes from order. Good service and worthy Chico classic.

Bellacinno's lost a customer today. $12 for a couple bites of watery egg and 3 pieces of cold bacon. What a ripoff. I called in this order thinking that I could pick it up on my way to work. Wrong! People who were walking into the restaurant and ordering at the counter were getting their food before me. I waited in the restaurant for 30 minutes and when I finally get my food I'm almost late for work, the food is cold and not good, and I'm starting my workday pissed off and hungry. I will not be going back to Bellacinno's

It was pretty darned good! I thought I would be getting cheddar chive biscuits, but really it was biscuits with chives dry on top and cheddar melted over that. It was still good, though. I wish there were an option for a smaller version of the sweet dishes so you can get both! The staff members were friendly and the restaurant was clean. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot!

We started with drinks I got a chai latte and my friend got the watermelon refresher, both enjoyable. Next time I'll get it without the sprinkled cinnamon on top. I got the roasted potatoes with carnitas and eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium which is my favorite. The potatoes were beautifully roasted while soft on the inside. The pico de gallo also seemed fresh and flavorful. My friend got the chicken and waffles and felt the chicken was well seasoned and crunchy while still tender. We shared the bam bam waffle, it was very sweet, the black berry sauce was a good tart taste to balance out all the sugar. I will say that although the food was delicious and fresh, the price was a little higher than expected. An extra side of syrup was $2 more. A side of eggs(2) was $5. I shared the receipt. All and all I'm glad we stopped here on our way back to Sacramento. Great food.

The outside seating is plentiful and groups of all types were represented: Mixed families, couples, friend groups, young, old, and in between. It's a friendly place with a lovely menu that has something for everyone. The names of the dishes were a blast from the past and I found that humorous and homey. Herb Caen was a regular columnist for the SF Chronicle who coined the term Beatnik back in the 50's, and there is an homage to him on the menu. Bob Denver and Sinatra also made the cut. I watched as a man walked through the patio greeting and being greeted by employees and patrons alike. The atmosphere is one of a friendly neighborhood casual family-friendly restaurant and I LOVED it. I placed our order and was given a number for the table. The food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. We weren't counting and the company was all we needed at the time. Once the food came, the waitress was able to get everything extra that we requested including the receipt I forgot to get and even though I thought they wouldn't be able to print it out, they did. The service was top notch, friendly, and smiling. When I left the tip, under my usual 20% no less, (due to lack of small bills, my bad), she smiled ear to ear and thanked me like it was her first tip. When you go, please tip well. The reaction is worth every cent of the tip. Food: we bought three meals, a lunch to go and two breakfasts for there. I had the "Sinatra your way" which is two eggs how you like them, toast, and potatoes. He had a veggie omelette, which he seemed to like a lot. Neither of us could finish our potatoes. They are fantastic rustic breakfast potatoes with peppers and other items sautéed together. The eggs had paprika and/or a pepper on them. Just enough kick to be interesting, not enough to push them away. I enjoyed my breakfast thoroughly. The only meh item was the jelly. Smuckers isn't high quality. I expected something with cane sugar as opposed to HFCS with the vibe of the place. Still not enough to lose a star. Definitely going back there.

I scoured the menu and was excited to find so many hash choices. I was moved by the Irish Burrito, but ordered Linda's omelette; while my daughter went with the eggs Benedict. In a town that takes its breakfast seriously, and where I've probably worked my way through more menus and reviews than I should admit, this one quietly climbed right to the top of my list. My omelette was exactly what you want when you order one. Fluffy without being dry, full of flavor without trying too hard, and cooked like someone in the kitchen actually cares about eggs. The ingredients were balanced and fresh, not just thrown together as filler. The hollandaise sauce was original, I couldn't find a lemon, cheese or any other overwhelming base, it stood out. The hash was perfect. My daughter's eggs Benedict looked like a postcard version of what that dish should be. Perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise that didn't feel heavy, and ham that actually tasted like ham instead of just salt delivery. One of those plates where you steal a bite "just to try it" and immediately understand the decision. The real surprise for me was the potato pancake I picked instead of the usual hashbrowns. Light, airy inside, crispy outside, and seasoned just right. Honestly one of the better breakfast potatoes I've had anywhere. If potatoes had a hall of fame, this one would at least get a nomination. The place itself has a warm, comfortable feel. Wood tones, rooster themes everywhere, a relaxed local energy where people look like regulars and first-timers feel welcome anyway. Service was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. In a city full of strong breakfast spots, this might actually be my current favorite. That's not something I say lightly.
