incredible food, and no wonder -- they're owned by the people who gave you The Banshee... great for brunch, lunch and dinner; cocktails are on point and service is warm and friendly, no bull$hit, all business... on your first visit, try the "trashy fried chicken" tacos, and don't order three, two is plenty... now back to you, Bob?

French eggs scrambled

as always, wonderful wonderful meal I went through Friday night. I went there Saturday morning for brunch and I went there this morning for brunch and they never disappoint. Service was slow just because they had a huge party on the patio but we didn't care we hung out we talked we visited. We met people. It was awesome but if you haven't visited this little downtown gym or if you're from out of town and you want to visit a little downtown gym I would say yes for sure. We had the French eggs which I always get as a scramble and I add roasted tomatoes. It was fabulous my sweet baby had the biscuit Sando, which again was fabulous and cocktails are always a bonus. Don't waste your money on mimosas just get the bottle. It was a beautiful morning. It was a beautiful afternoon. We watched the Raiders lose and we met some very lovely people so anyway I would say yes go and don't forget to order the beignets which I got yesterday. I didn't get today because I already had them yesterday and I thought I would be glad if I got them and you know what gluttonous people they don't get into heaven so I didn't wanna be gluttonous.

This was like a funnel cake. I forget the New Orleans type name. Oh boy. Good!

We were in Chico for a football game. We were looking for lunch before leaving town and we found this spot. It is hard to really tell from the street, but this place is pretty cool. They had a big bar in a large older historic feeling bar. The patio out back was covered and crowded. We sat at the bar and found that they have a brunch menu on weekends. They have solid cocktails and a unique brunch. I had something the tasted kinda like eggs Benedict but it was on a toasted sliced baguette. Solid spot. One of the better that I have tried in that area. Oh shoot! I forgot about the funnel cake type thingy. That was good.

I came to this place while visiting my brother not knowing what to expect. The food is really good and the portions are really big, they even have options for the kids, even though these are not on the menu the waitress kindly made the suggestion. The drinks were good, we tried their margaritas and the Eva Peron made with ginger, which I happen to love. Overall, the service was fast, friendly and efficient. The place is big enough and has outdoor sitting where you will find some family games. The dining area was clean and so were the restrooms. They did not disappoint and I cannot wait to come back next time I'm in town.

Absolutely loved this place. The drinks were good and the food was better. The fundido is a must! It's soooo good, I'd come back just for that. I had the Cadillac grilled cheese without the meat and wasn't disappointed. My sandwich was good. My finance got the wings and said they were really good, a lot of flavor. My son got the chicken taco and said it was the best taco he's ever had in his life. His gf got the tacos and said they were really good also and big portions , shareable . Our waitress and waiter were attentive and friendly. Overall great experience.highly recommend going and get the fundido with the crostinis !

Pretty good! Wish there was a single patty options but more for later I guess :)

Happy hour beer was great for $4 Hazy! Burger a little over the price I'd like to pay considering you don't get French fries w it. Very friendly service :) I keep coming back. Mostly for happy hour beers

This was the first place I tried coming to Chico!! And was kinda late a night so it was one of the few places that was open past 9 pm. The inside was dark but again it is a pub so it makes sense lolz. Had plenty of seating and a bar area :)). The lady checked up us once in a while :)). A great pub atmosphere for sure!! We came and the people we came with recommended the trashy taco and I saw the pork bowl so I got both. But after I saw it has a mix of culture foods!! Trashy tacos 1000/10 I didn't expect the cheese part cuz I got it based on recommendations but it was sooo good!! I loved the cilantro ranch the most!!! Idk but just telling you it won't disappoint at all!!! Pork rice bowl 1000/10 this is a Thai inspired dish and as well didnt disappoint!! The pork was so tender and sweet!! The chilis of course made it spicy but I loved it!! The presentations was a plus but food was def amazing!!

Very nice bar area

Great service Everyone was kind and helpful Great drink options Patio was nice Gluten free options for drinks Had the fundido absolutely amazing. Chips are outstanding too. Came out hot and fresh Kimchi pastrami sandwich was awesome. Would only suggest more pastrami. Seemed like it was a little light. Will definitely revisit. Great spot.

Crispy Pork Tacos & Chips with Guacamole/Sour Cream

I'm addicted to the Crispy Pork Tacos.....I love it, and they don't just taste good they always look good. Whether in a to-go box or on a plate the food presentation is beautiful. The servers are super nice and service is fast. Special shoutout to Katie for always being sweet and friendly to talk with, and for making sure I have everything I may need. The place is always clean and it's just cozy inside. A good place to get work done or talk with friends.

Dined in for dinner on a Thursday night during the Downtown Chico Thursday Night Market. We split some Duck Fat Fries, and had their Caesar Salad with Chicken and Crispy Pork Rice Bowl. These were my favorite eats in Chico!

Burger and fries
Dan M.

Had the chicken tacos with a cheese skirt, and a b street hamburger and fries.. everyone loved the tacos all three of the other in our group of four had the tacos and I had a burger... we definitely ordered it incorrectly since we could have bought three tacos for 23$ instead we ordered separate, one taco was 17, 2 tacos was 20, and three where 23..not thinking about it we needed up ordering separately so instead of paying 23$ for three tocos we paid 43$ thank you to the server! The hamburger was tasty but again want fries with your burger? Add 6$ for a pile of greasy , did I say greasy well had to wipe my hands ever bite! Definitely not a positive experience for this meal... although the group loved the chicken tacos thus the four star! I would have probably given it a 2 star if it was just me! Definitely better burgers and fries in town! The banshee for one, burgers and brew, and even knobies! So if you're going for a burger and fries..order the chicken taco! Not sure if I'll ever go back...

biscuits and gravy

I accidentally stumbled upon this place, and I'm so glad I did! The food was delicious, and the beignets with Nutella were the best I've ever had. I didn't take a picture of the hash browns because I was too busy enjoying my meal, but the biscuits and gravy were incredible, and the hash browns were fantastic. The staff was terrific--friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. I will be coming back again!

The American Omelette with yummy roast!

I preferred the American omelette and it was great! Together with the beignets, it was a great breakfast. The service was great and helpful. The vibe was casual elegance.

Anyone know what time they stop serving brunch on the weekends?

Last menus go out at 2, but we take orders until those are all filled. Come on down, still got time!

We had kids with us, so we got there an hour before it became 21+. Everyone was friendly, the food came pretty quick relative to how hopping it was. We ordered: Pho-rench dip (w/fries)--I think this was a DDD sandwich, so it's not some hidden gem, but it was super tasty. You cannot go wrong. The slight lime-iness of the dipping broth really kicked it into turbo. Also, we all likes the steak fries--a note on that later. Chicken Cheese Steak (w/fries)--my wife loved it. I tried a bite, and it was great--a little mushroom-forward, but we like that. Mac and Cheese--do not be fooled by the slightly smaller bowl, it is very filling. My son can eat his birth weight in pasta, and he had to tap out! I tried a bite--it was creamy (not grainy at all), and was just the right amount of salty and cheese-funky. Grilled cheese and tomato soup (w/fries)--perhaps the least successful for my family, but only because my daughter prefers a smoky/spicy tomato soup, and this was more on the sweet side. The griled cheese was of the "crispy cheese on the outside" ilk, which my daughter thought was really good. So, totally would go again. IMPORTANT NOTE (to people traveling through Chico, or who don't want to take leftovers)--the sandwiches are pretty big, and the add-on fry order is also sizeable. If we were going again tomorrow, we would either order 1 fry instead of 3. Or split a sandwich. Very very good pub.

We sat outside on the patio, which was lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. I ordered the Jam Session sandwich and I'm still thinking about it. The fries on the side were hot, crispy, and really good too. Honestly, this place felt like something that could have been dropped right into Palo Alto or Santa Clara, CA. The look and overall vibe reminded me of a Silicon Valley café, but the prices were much more reasonable than what you'd expect for that kind of setting. That doesn't really help when you've already driven 30 minutes home and now have an incomplete meal. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled matters.
