My wife and I went to Pour House for dinner and had such an amazing time! Our hostess Shay showed so much initiative in getting us to our table, we only wish she was our server as well! We will be back soon! read more

The food was amazing and the drinks were so great and the service was outstanding especially Emma!

We had a really good time with our adult kids including one that was up from the bay area. The menu is pretty big and covers from salads through burgers and full dinners. We had the fried green beans as an app served hot and tasty wil a dipping sauce. I was very pleased with our server, Krystal. She steered us though the menu and was cheerful and patient in spite of it being a busy Saturday night. The food itself was excellent. Everyone's meal was properly prepared and deliver hot to the table. Inside it is a little noisy but it was not difficult to hear the others in our party. read more

The appetizers were the best part. Best buffalo cauliflower I've had; lightly breaded and crispy! Fried green beans were also nice and crispy. Grilled salmon had good flavor with the green sauce but was not worth the price. Fish n chips were very disappointing. Were not crispy and lacked flavor. What made up for the food was the service. read more

We had a very large group and our host was amazing. She took her time to take care of each of us at the table, I did not get her name sadly. We shared a conversation about our travel adventures. she had such a friendly attitude making the brunch that much better! Enjoyed my time here (: read more

Their food leaves something to be desired, but it's beautiful inside (even in the bathroom lol) and the service was great. Their happy hour is pretty decent (3-6pm and 9pm-close). We ordered the Thai chicken flatbread from the happy hour menu and the peanut sauce was good (although not at all spicy as advertised), but the toppings were scarce. I ordered the Forest Truffle Burger medium rare, but it came out pretty much well done and dry. The truffle aioli, however, was tasty. The nachos loco dish was huge and they were super generous with the toppings on this one! I had made a reservation for a party of 9 on the day of Chico's graduation with no problem (they only take reservations for parties of 8+) and thankfully it wasn't too busy! read more

In Chico for a baseball game I drove by this nice outdoor patio restaurant with cute lights that you could definitely see when you're driving by. So what I did the next game I told myself I'm definitely stopping there. Once inside it's super nice and very spacious. They have a beautiful restroom it's all pink with a huge wall art you could tell they payed attention to detail. Even the bathroom ceilings have wall art on the ceilings. Don't forget to look up next time . The inside consist of pretty much 3 areas. There is one big room. It looks like it was more like a private room. There's a little section on the way to the bathroom that has this beautiful tree with lights when I looked close enough there was a little monkey hanging on one of the tree branch . Then they have the other area once you first come in that it's near the bar overlooking the outside with the big windows . Last but not least you cannot forget about the massive patio with its own huge bar with a massive TV in the middle. It's just a very great space. The food was really delicious. Their menu is pretty massive. I was trying to decide what to pick.. I went with a Rancher burger cooked to my liking which was so perfect for me . I upgraded to the black truffle fries . For drinks my favorite was the lavender one so refreshing. They have a nice Happy Hour every single day pretty sweet right ? The service was excellent from the beginning to end . I could tell this is the locals hang out spot and I see why . The prices were very reasonable specially with the generous portions . Can't wait to go back when in the area . read more

Visited October 23rd..see receipt as always. Note..YELP not allowing me to download 30 pics and videos! What a fun place to eat in Chico! I have been wanting to go here and I am so glad I did! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Huge round bar outside with a huge patio atmosphere. My friend and I got there when they opened ( 11 am) and decided to dit inside in a booth since it was still just alittle cool outside. We ordered a expresso martini and an Irish coffee ( Jamison whiskey with coffee and whip cream). The martinis was light and cold eith coffee beans floating on top. My friend enjoyed the coffee drink. We ordered the ahi tuna tostada and the waglu burger with parm fries. The ahi tuna was fresh and seasoned just right! They were generous on the tuna! The burger was huge ( smash burger) on a nicely toasted bun. I could barely get my mouth around it to take a bite ( I am 135 pounds!). It was juicy and cooked just right! We opted to pay alittle more to get the parm fries which was a great choice! JOHNNY took our order..made the awesome cocktails and checked on us often. GREAT customer service and he is a great asset for such a busy restaurant! Fun atmosphere and plenty of tvs to watch sports. Full bar. High energy place that was almost packed by noon ( good sign! ). Everyone seemed upbeat and enjoying cocktails..lol! Great experience and will definitely be back again! Thank you Johnny and the staff for fast service and great food! Ps. Ambience inside towards the back was very nice including the restrooms and that is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. Service was very mid. Not terrible by any stretch but had to ask to have my empty drink taken away (set on the edge of the table) and my mouth was full when the server asked how it was and didn't check back again. They were never rude but they definitely weren't friendly either. Maybe it's a GenZ thing? About that drink: $10 for a CANNED drink! I used to work in dining and I would have offered to at least pour it into the glass and then removed the trash from the table. I accept that this could be an outdated notion. The truly disappointing aspect, especially for the price, was the food. It left a lot to be desired. Red Miso Salmon Bowl sounded like it would be very flavorful but was one of the blandest things I've ever tried at any restaurant ever. Adding salt and lemon did not help. I think it *might* have been missing some ingredients. I did not order the dish with any modifications. My friend's fish and chips were also very average - at best. So disappointed! I've driven by this place for years and had been wanting to check it out. Out of food, service, pricing, and ambience I need 3 out of 4 to consider returning to any restaurant while Pour House falls short on all the first 3. Too bad, there's a lot of potential. read more

Service very good. Happy hour is great. Food is plentful . Can be very noisie, but not overbearing. Love the lady's restroom colors!

Rolled in on a Friday night in early March...wow this place was popping inside and outside. We were greeted by the hostess Chloe who was very friendly and efficient, quickly finding us a table for our party of 5. Walking through the restaurant most of the tables were groups of 6 or more. Staff was great and taking care of business. Before being sat I was amazed at the operational level from staff because this is a large restaurant. The Pour House knows how to serve and operate. I ordered up the short rib fried rice. Our server Crystal was great, really hard worker! I was very impressed with the short rib fried rice. It was undercover spicy, which I loved. Highly recommend The Pour House when around Chico. The wives brisket tacos were also amazing. All the food looked great! 5 stars. read more

We came in with a group of 10 adults celebrating a child-free evening & couple of birthdays, and somehow Ava not only survived us... she THRIVED. Seriously, Ava was hands-down one of the best servers I've ever had. She was funny, witty, quick, competent, and somehow managed to keep us all in line while laughing right along with us. She made the whole night so much more fun. The "lore monkey" (iykyk ), bathroom couches & selfies. Now let's talk food... We made it just in time for Happy Hour, so of course we had to order a few drinks and appetizers. The fried cauliflower? Absolutely AMAZING. The poke tostadas? 10/10--I'd order them every single time. For dinner, all 10 of us ordered something different, and not one person had a complaint (which might be the most impressive part of the night!). My BBQ tri-tip salad was perfection. The meatloaf is worth every calorie, seriously, it's to die for. And if you're thinking about the jambalaya... just know it brings the heat! Fantastic food, great drinks, and an unforgettable server. Ava, thank you for making our night. read more

Arquette was awesome! Perfect service. Great attitude. She was very attentive and so sweet and funny. We will be back!

The place to see tour favorite game in the patios huge screen! Then thats about it. Food is mediocre and overpriced. Bar staff is inattentive. Fish and chips for 28 not worth it at all. I like to give new to me establishments a chance. The chicken taquitos are booring and the chick is like a mushy texture. Short rib tacos are a no way to be bad choice..right? Nope. If you want to drink and watch your team come here. Bit make sure you eat beforehand. read more

I'm not gonna lie when someone told me the name I thought about it as "poor house" lolz. But not like as in outing drinking or such lolz. But the after I saw pouring it made so much more sense to me. I really loved the layout of the place!! Had sooooo much seating!! Both inside and out. I will say we did hi Kate at night and the TV was pretty bright so he warned but it wasn't an issue to me lolz. Will say they also have 2 happy house and one from 9-closing. I will see we were those costumer who stayed passed their closing time and we didn't notice the time since we were all having a good time. I love that I didn't feel pressured to leave but felt a bit bad that we stayed past the closing time. The server was nice as well!! I have no complaints at all when it comes to their service :)) Food Ahi poki tostadas 7/10 wasn't my personal favorite to be honest. I thought it would be more citrusy rather than sweet which I didn't mind but still wasn't terrible. Blackened chicken quesadilla 10/10 I was surprised the stuff the added to the quesadilla but it was actually pretty good!! Kinda wish the salsa was spicer but again personal preference lolz. Nashville hot chicken sandwich 10/10 bit my review but they said they liked it Overall this place is good and has 2 happy hours!! read more

My bf and I came here for valentine's day today during happy hour. We ordered 2 ahi tuna tostadas, a wagyu burger, and grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Everything was fine till we got home. both of us violently exploded the toilets.. I'm 99% sure the Ahi tuna tostadas were likely the problem. Service was great. Everything tasted fine, but i could tell the ahi didnt taste as fresh as i'm used to at other places. Our stomachs hurt read more

The food, service and fun atmosphere are all amazing! The patio is so nice to enjoy the great weather. Happy hour is the best!

Went with a work group for an early lunch. Inside felt a little dated until you walked into the bathrooms which were very modern and felt upscale. Our whole group was talking about it. Server was quick to seat us and get our orders. A few of us ordered Bloody Mary's and all of us agreed that they were some of the best we ever had. Food was ok but everything that was fried seemed over done and dry. Fries, chicken tenders, fish and chips even the sweet potato fries. I had the gochujang fried rice. Very tasty but again a little drier than most fried rice I've had in the past. Didn't sit outside but they have a really nice set up would seem like a great place to catch a game and have some drinks and apps with friends read more

Good food. Good drinks. Nice upscale bar vibe. Beautiful patio area but the tv are really large so they can be a bit overstimulating.

I would give five stars to our server, who was attentive and helpful. The food, on the other hand gets a one from me, so I averaged it out at three stars. We have been wanting to have Sunday brunch here for quite a while and finally made it. We had two orders of the chicken and waffles. Both the chicken and the waffles had quite obviously been previously prepared and reheated. The waffles were literally cold. The chicken was extremely greasy and extremely dark on the outside. I know what food looks like when it's been cooked and then re-cooked and I also know what it taste like. And this was that. I'm sure when they are fresh. They are phenomenal. The sauce on the side is delicious, but I don't care to pay $20 a plate for greasy, reheated leftovers. I don't know if this is a regular practice at the Pour House, but I hope they see this comment and rethink it. As it stands, I don't feel inclined to go back. If anyone wants to ask me why I didn't complain to the manager, it's because we shouldn't have to ask for fresh food. If it's not standard practice to give your patrons freshly prepared food, it's certainly not worth complaining about. Who knows what you'll end up with? read more
