    Great time with my family

We always have a great time here! The food is fresh and super delicious. The staff is friendly but not over the top. Good price and great drinks! The place is nicely decorated and I love that they have a full bar! Try the espresso martini. It's delicious. We also had this day the family meal. It fed all of us really well. We will be back:)

I went here for fish bowls one night and had fun! The staff was kind, and the pizza from the window was delicious. Only issue is there is not a lot of seating so you have to have a reservation. I tried going for dinner one night, but the wait was an hour. I will definitely come here again!

Stopped by here with the fam while visiting. It's fine. Prices are good. Ambience- not bad but the lighting is harsh. Turn it down. Service - no complaints. Food - Mmm. Mediocre but ok. Pizza toppings were good but I didn't love the crust - gummy and lacking flavor. Spaghetti marinara was just ok. Salads were good although they drenched it with cheese which I never understand. Price - Ok this is where they win. I am from the Bay Area and could not believe you can get a large pizza plus a huge plate of pasta to share, four salads and 4 alcoholic beverages -- for under 70 bucks. AYKM?! Our drinks were half price because we were there before six but still. Great value for groups IMO. So - it's ok and a good value for the money. Would like it better if they fix the lighting and up their pizza game. Loved the neon out front.

Lately for dinner I've been ordering their Antipasto salad as I really love it. Because it's so big I usually have to ask for a box to take home what I can't finish. I highly recommend it. $18 Their pizzas are always good. They have 3 pizza sizes and their biggest is a giant size. We continue to come here quite frequently some of which is due not only for their service, good food but also because of their Happy Hour wines by the glass which at Happy Hour are 50% off. A slight bummer is that currently for the last month or so they have been out of their Chianti wind by the glass. Our waitress told us that's because they're in the process of changing their wine menu. An Italian oriented menu without a Chianti wine to me is sad ... however for many years I've found Franky's to be a very nice restaurant, caring about their patrons and so I have faith that soon a basic Chianti wine will be available again.

Happy hour Spaghetti and Meat sauce and pizza with Garlic. My glass of pinot nior was half off.

The cheese pizza was fresh, actually hot when I got it. High quality I could tell. Delicious But this is probably just the effect of being fresh and all but the cheese was so melty it was hard to separate the slices from each other. When I try to take a slice out, the tip would without fail be the hardest part to take off without cheese falling off. As well with biting a slice, the cheese wanted to all come off at once. This problem solves itself when the pizza cools but thats the yin and yang of it Layout: When you walk in, its a decent size room, windows from the front and to the right walls. Couch on the left side with tables, then chairs together. Then on the right side with the windows, tall chairs and tall tables facing the window. As you walk in, directly in front of you is a table, left side with a pizza warmer, right side is cash register. Behind the cash register is a fridge for drinks. Extra note: When you order a pizza in person, the pizza you get will not be from the pizza warmer it will be made fresh from the kitchen. Idk when the pizza warmer is used, maybe online orders? Since they recently opened like 3 days ago, no surprise they dont have a yelp page yet

You step inside and head upstairs, and suddenly the outside world is forgotten. It's its own little realm holding court in the heart of Chico. It is warm, inviting, and has plenty of seating, with a full cast of attentive staff, and decor that doesn't shout "Italian!" from the rooftops, but is very hipster whispering with confidence. We opened with the lamb appetizer, and I'll admit this with measured humility... it rivaled my own. Tender, well-seasoned, and not a trace of that gamey nonsense. The Brussels sprouts followed suit, crisped just right, delivering that perfect bite between char and flavor. The bread and dipping combo? Let's just say restraint was not my strong suit. A few pizzas passed by like temptation itself, and every one of us took notice. Plans were made... our future visit in the works. For the mains, the birthday girl claimed the ribeye, and it arrived exactly as it should... cooked to perfection, with potatoes that could quietly steal the show if you weren't paying attention. Her boyfriend and I, in a moment of questionable maturity, settled our fate with Rochambeau. He emerged victorious and took the crispy chicken breast with gnocchi, a dish generous enough to test even a committed appetite. I went with the short rib ragu, rich and comforting, the kind of plate that doesn't need explaining. The drink selection holds its own, and the dessert menu read like a final act worth staying for... but we were defeated in the best possible way and bowed out early. Service never missed a beat. Present, attentive, and smooth from start to finish. Parking, as with most things in downtown Chico, requires a bit of patience and perhaps a small offering to the parking gods. But once inside, it's quickly forgotten. All told, a night well spent. Good food, good company, and a place that knows exactly what it's doing without needing to announce it. We'll be back... if only to answer the question those passing pizzas left behind.

This pizzeria seems to be family owned as it's always the same employees working there when i visit including a man that genuinely cares about your experience and wants you to return. The pizza is unique, it's not quite a deep dish but thicker than a standard pizza crust. Toppings go all the way to the edge. The taste is somewhat buttery, and they have a proprietary spice and cheese blend that is sprinkled on top and really adds to the overall flavor. Cheese sticks are similar to Papa John's or Mountain Mike's in that you get a pizza cut into sticks with a dipping sauce. Their location, although seemingly good for delivery orders with being close to downtown and the student areas, is out of place and it's easy to miss the pizzeria completely when driving by.
