Been here quite a few times, and it's hit or miss depending on the day. The last time I went here, they served me a flat soda and a burger that was still pink on the inside. We hadn't been back in years, and just a few times since the fire. It keeps improving, the food is good, and the folks working there are friendly. The prices and portions are great, especially compared to the drive thru across street, where they want $6 for a postage stamp-sized biscuit with egg on it. Worth another visit to Cozy! read more

So happy to see Paradise coming back. I had the French Dip, and it was great! The service was perfect. My only complaint was I think that was the smallest piece of cake a restaurant has ever served. Always looked to go on Monday evenings between 6-8pm to listen to the live music in the bar seating area. Didn't really have a big appetite so I ordered a chicken enchilada made on a floor tortilla... A la carte. Simple. First one I had was awesome, just enough to fill me up and not too expensive. Washed it down with a beer. Second time... Wanted the thing... They were out of floor tortillas, so I had strips and fries. Greasyt but filling as all French fries and deep fried chicken strips are. Third time I wanted the a la carte enchilada and got told the waitress got in trucks because they cut a full size tortilla in half, make the enchilada and throw away the remaining 1/2. Who does that? They won't make it anymore so, we eat before we go there, save a bunch of money and take it own water with us to drink. That 1/2 of a flour tortilla cost them $40 in sales. I suppose if you can't cook and you don't have any tastebuds, perhaps this is the place for you. However, for everyone else, it's a no go. I honestly don't understand how they are still in business. We love Cozy diner! We usually sit in the bar area, and the service there is fantastic. Food is standard diner food, and nice quick hot meal. Ummm the food, I had a Cobb salad they used some weird turkey that I had to remove, did not taste good. I ate a bit of the rest, also had half a can of black olives lol! The bad thing. I looooove broasted chicken. I ordered a 12 piece to take home. I was devouring a breast my favorite, it hit my stomach and right back out it came! This morning is our second day in a row eating breakfast here. That should tell you something! First of all dining room is comfortable, seating areas are spacious and noise level is low. Service is friendly , the manager/hostess remembered us from yesterday. The menu is expansive (we want to come back again and try their lunch and dinner menu) and portions are huge!! We've ordered something different each day and everything has been delicious. No skimping in flavor or preparation. This is what a breakfast diner should be. The first time I came here, the food was good. I've given it a few more tries and it's been worse each time. Most recently, they burnt the wings, forgot to include ranch, gave french fries instead of the loaded potato I paid extra for, gave french fries instead of the seasoned fries ordered, and couldn't be bothered to caramilize the onions on the Frisco burger. The shrimp has to be frozen food, the chicken strips are extra thin and bland, the wings are way smaller than they used to be, and I think this is all the owner's fault. Despite emphasizing I was in no rush, they must've rushed their employees for so many mistakes to happen. We ordered eight pieces of broasted chicken to go for the first time tonight and we're somewhat dissatisfied with it. I will never go back here! I was served BLACK avocado 2 different times. The cooks are horrible. And I should mention the greasy disgusting eggs, or the undone hamburger panties. I tried to get ahold of ANY manager or even the OWNER and after 2 months of nothing i give up. I moved up here to take care of my aunt who is disabled, and that is the one place we could get a hot meal. And now I can't go there because they have absolutely no respect for their patrons. This restaurant has great employees working for them. They are quick to seat you, take your drink order, then return for your meal order. No matter how busy they are or how many people in your party they always get your food out to you in record time. We've been looking at Paradise as a place to retire. After the fire the community is slowly coming back. We stopped in to have some breakfast at this spot and everything was amazing. Since their return after the Pandemic, the quality of the food is not as good as before the Pandemic. I loved their chicken fried steak. The first time I tried it after re-opening, I could not eat the meat as it had been in the freezer too long and had a 'stale' taste to it. Their breakfasts are generally good and the service is always great! Last night I ordered a cheeseburger; they dumped the fries into the box on top of the burger which made the fries limp and ruined them. This was a pickup order. Tuesday night and was decided go out for dinner, went to the old local Cozy diner. Ordered our food, waitress was nice and courteous. Noticed customer come in with the Dog!! Since when do they allow dogs into restaurants.The only time they should allow dogs in is if its a guide dog for the blind. Complain to the management they didn't seem to care. Got up left my steak and shrimp sitting on the table and went to an establishment that doesn't allow dogs. I will not return to Cozy diner for this reason, they probably really don't care about my business anyway. But you can rest assured of one thing I will tell all my friends that they allow dogs and it is not a Sanitary place to eat. read more

I'm so happy Cozy Diner has reopened after 3 years post-Camp Fire! Haven't had a chance to go in yet, but will in the next week. They have been sorely missed! They always had a great selection of menu items and the place was always quite busy. Hoping that continues. They will be changing the name to Cozy Bar& Grill soon, but it is the same place with the addition of serving drinks with meals. Paradise really needs this!!! read more
