Sunlight danced across playfully colored walls, instantly making the space feel welcoming and alive. Innovative and classic cocktails are offered alongside beer and a modest wine selection. The mocktails looked wonderfully thirst-quenching, but my soul was calling for an orange wine. It served its purpose quite nicely. The menu centers on healthier bar food options, and the intention comes through beautifully. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and lovingly prepared rather than simply assembled. The offerings lean playful, with subtle Asian influences that keep things interesting. Our group chose to lean in on the more indulgent side of the menu. The rice tots? Unexpected, whimsical, and absolutely worthy of sharing, crispy little conversation starters. We enjoyed this starter with a little bowl of seasoned mixed nuts. But let's discuss the pastrami sandwich. A glorious indulgence layered with melty cheese, kimchi slaw, and piled onto a locally baked brioche bun. Restraint was simply not invited to this meal. My dinner companions opted for the cheeseburger and were completely delighted. Classic in concept, but elevated in execution, right down to the burger sauce, which struck that elusive perfect balance of tangy, savory, and craveable. And the fries? I'm torn on this review. Went in with my husband for the first time. Wasn't sure if it was seat yourself or...? People working did t really acknowledge us. Once we found our seat, no one brought us menus...we ended up making friends with the couple next to us and looked at theirs. I told the server it was our first time there, and I'm used to a different response other than being met with silence. I asked if she recommended anything and it was as if she didn't want to interact. We ended up getting pho, steak skewers, rice tots, fried chicken sandwich. I ordered a mocktail which was great. The hostess was very rude and judgmental. I was stared at as soon as I walked in and immediately felt unwelcome. Honestly, as soon as I sat down, I wanted to leave. My group was on the younger side compared to the crowd there, which felt strange given that the location and overall atmosphere seemed geared toward a younger crowd. Being 21+ doesn't make this place exclusive or special; it's simply a bar with the same entry policy as many others. So I'm not sure why the attitude was so strong from the start. The only positive part of the experience was our waiter, a kind, blonde young man who was friendly and professional throughout our visit. I'll admit, I didn't realize this was a bar that doesn't allow children. I stopped by for a holiday event after being invited by my boss and had to bring my daughter with me, assuming it would be okay. There was no sign at the front door saying no kids and no one near the entrance to mention it when we walked in. When I went over to greet my coworkers, a server came up and the first -- and only -- thing she said was, "She can't be in here." There was no explanation, just that statement while looking at me like I should have known. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but the interaction came across as pretty rude. To keep it short, I would not recommend Roselle's at all. The female manager is very rude and uninviting which is odd because when you first walk in she's the face. There are a lot of good places to eat at in Chico, but the menu at Roselle's is truly on another level. We headed to Roselle per a recommendation from a friend, and it did not disappoint. The cocktails were fantastic, the food was delicious (and seasonal, big plus), the ambiance was great (they were playing great music, low lighting, beautiful glassware and bar), and the service was awesome! You have the ability to not only order from your phone, but open a tab on your phone through apple pay, and close the tab, without ever having to wait for a staff to do it for you, which is pretty awesome. If tech isn't your thing, they also have staff available to take your order. We will be going back to try the rest of the house cocktails! This new cocktail lounge in Meriam park is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Be aware that the idea is that you order and pay through the QR code on your table. If you need a paper menu they will bring you one and if you ask to have your order taken they will accommodate. I personally love the QR code order. I spent about $47 and the service fee was 82 cents, to me that's not a big deal. I ordered using the QR code and my drink came out in less than 5 minutes. My food was about 4-5 more minutes. Loved it. The Pittsburg sandwich I had was wonderful and even my picky husband liked it. The fries were also really good. Warm, crispy on the outside and seasoned with some type of Asian tasting seasoning. We will definitely be back. read more

The service is friendly and fast and it's even not really been crowded all the times I've been. Roselle is such a great addition to the Meriam Park area and Chico in overall. There is really nowhere like it in town. The interior is gorgeous and refined, but also fun and colorful. All the design details have been well thought out. I love the versatility of the space. Small tables for dates, big booths for large parties, beautiful bar and a great patio that's dog friendly. I've been to birthday parties here, have a weekly coworker meet up here and have also had solo dinners at the bar, so it's great for all occasions. The food is delicious! I especially love the cheeseburger, the japchae noodles and the bavette skewers. Lots of veggie, gluten free and keto options too. My favorite cocktails are the Summer Crush and the Linen Park. Everything is so fresh and delicious! There is an option for QR code ordering, which I love because it's so fast, easy and super convenient if you are in a big party and don't want to have to split the check between 10 people. When you're in the mood for the perfect craft cocktail, this is the place. The food is also great. One stop spot

I have Celiac Disease, and was excited to find a place with lots of gluten free options, that uses a dedicated fryer (so there's no cross contamination with gluten containing products). I had the Karaage chicken nugget bowl, and my friend (who can eat gluten) had the double cheeseburger. I saw that the nuggets, when ordered by themselves, come with a kimchi mayo. I asked for a side of it, and I'm so glad I did! As far as the bowl, the nuggets were pretty good, the kimchi mayo was amazing, the slaw was okay, the honey sriracha sauce was pretty good, and I did not like the rice at all. The rice has seaweed, furikake, and possibly tamari on it. It tastes exactly like a sushi roll with no fish. If I'd known that's how the rice is served, I'd definitely have asked for no seaweed. As far as the cheeseburger, my friend liked it but wasn't blown away by it. Regarding the ambience, as other reviews have said, it's very loud. We actually wanted to sit outside because of that, but unfortunately none of their outdoor space is in the shade. While I noticed another restaurant in the same plaza had misters and fans, Roselle didn't. The one thing I will say - we sat at the bar, and the bar seating is shockingly comfortable. The bartender who took our order was also very nice, which is always appreciated. All in all, we'll probably go back at some point, but I'll definitely order differently. I don't think the slaw and rice were really worth the additional price, so I'll probably order the nuggets and try their french fries as well. read more

My mother and I wanted to try this place as the burgers & pictures looked really cute but when we entered we were greeted rudely by the woman up front. We were sat and told we could only order the chicken nuggets and appetizers as they were out of everything else (it was 9pm and it said they closed at 10pm so idk if that normally happens idk) but the table behind us ordered burgers? The same woman walked past us a few times not asking if we were ready or anything. I was a bit confused but we waited a bit, as it did seem busy. As we waited to order, the lady who was rude to us sent another waitress to take our order and at this point we were extremely uncomfortable and I was upset by the service and the way we were treated, so I just told the waitress that was going to help us, we had to leave. We just had a late dinner somewhere else. I do not like to be rude to workers so I did not say anything directly as I was upset and confused at the experience we had. So I just decided to write a review. I hope others have a better experience than we did. read more
