Chicken panini with a side of delicious potato salad (which I was told was new on their menu). Delicous!

May 2021 - OUTDOOR - during covid social distancing: Very nice quality outdoor seating and an overall classy comfortable feeling environment. Great service (also all of the servers wore masks). Large selection of beers, 3 wines and small menu. Cocos Nachos were excellent. $14 The Lemony Orzo Salad was nice. $6 Rueben Panini was pretty good (I'm a Rueben lover and theirs was ok, not awesome). $14. Bishop's Peak Pinot Noir wine was nice. per glass $9. Heretic Make America Juicy Again - an IPA from Fairfield, Ca was very nice. 16oz $6.50 I highly recommend and am glad the Lost Dutchman Tap Room, after a year of heavy duty covid restrictions is back in operation. Thanks Lost Dutchman.

Cocos nachos, pretzel with beer cheese, strawberry gimlet (sooo good) and beer

My husband and I stopped by Chico to visit my sister in law and she enthusiastically recommended we go to the Lost Dutchman Taproom. We sat outside in the new beer garden, which is dog friendly! My husband who is all about beer loved every single flight taster. I on the other hand am more of a cocktail lady, but I will say I enjoyed their beer flight especially the Out of Bounds Raspberry Sour taster. For food we had cocos nachos and the pretzel with beer cheese. Both were delicious and definitely shareable, we almost ordered a second plate of nachos! I am going to also throw a shoutout to Ana (our server at the Dutchmen) she was friendly, beer knowledgeable, and on point. Right next door is a speakeasy style cocktail lounge, Strong Water, which also did not disappoint. The Dutchmen shares the outdoor space with Strong Water so you are able to order cocktails as well which is nice! Some of the best cocktails i've ever had. We stayed till closing! We will definitely be coming back when we visit.

Outside patio was empty and dog friendly

Great place with a great space and nice people. The beer selection didn't wow me, but their dog friendliness did.

    Flight and calzones.

I'm a huge fan of this place. They have unique beers that you wouldn't find in the stores (and cinders!), bar munchies, and GAMES!! I played mancala while drinking a flight... #goals. The employees are welcoming, friendly, and give attentive service. That being said, they give you your space to drink your beers and socialize with your group. A must try if you are into beers and taprooms!

    $10. Flights

My Sister and I recently visited this establishment for the first time. We both got flights for $10. It came with 4 beer samplings each. The choices were great as Sierra Nevada was having that Beer Camp thing going on. So many hoppy options! The customer service was great! They were very friendly and informative. Loved it!

If you're a craft beer enthusiast and you're in the Chico area (perhaps after a tour of the Sierra Nevada Brewery nearby), the Lost Dutchman Taproom is a place you just HAVE TO visit. Although there aren't an abundance of taps like a lot of bars I'm used to in SoCal, the focus here is on quality, not quantity. Now, let me say this: I don't mean to say that there isn't a lot of quality craft beer out there, however, this place puts some hard to find AND high quality craft beer on tap. For dinner, I went with the Sausage Calzones: two calzones stuffed with pepperoni, sausage, ricotta, parmesan and mozzarella cheese with a side of marinara sauce. Let me say that I've paid a LOT more for lesser flavored and stuffed calzones. Again, the key here is quality over quantity. When you taste just how flavorful the calzone is, you're satisfied with what you're provided on the plate. I loved them. For beer, well, I lost track of everything I had to drink. I remember having a Nitro IPA as well as a few other IPAs, a stout and a saison style ale. I do know that there wasn't one thing I decided not to finish. This place is cozy but not quiet. With all the great beer and great food coming out from the bar and kitchen, there's plenty to discuss at your table. In addition, the bar and wait staff are all really friendly people.

Stone IPA, Chardonnay & mesquite almonds... delicious!

Awesome beer selection, great wine by the glass, yummy snacks, attentive friendly service, cool ambiance. What a great pace, so glad we finally tried it. Chico peeps, you gotta go here!

It's fairly small but fixed up nice. They have a good beer selection and a few food items. We had the mac & cheese and the beef chili. They just opened on Tuesday. The owner was there and the people working seemed nice. Nothing else really on that side of town. I think they maybe had 15 beers on tap or so but the selection was good.

Schilling ginger cider, Putah Creek DIPA, smoked almonds and apple cheese panini with kale salad. Yummy!

Thank you, Yelp for another great experience. The hubby and I were looking for a quick drink and bite. Did not disappoint. Hubby had a refreshing local craft brew, Putah Creek DIPA. a definite "do again"- great balance of flavors. Beyond expectations. I had the Schilling Ginger cider, a crisp and fresh drink on such a hot afternoon. We split the Apple, cheddar (hubby said goat cheese) panini with kale salad along with smoked almonds. Expertly done. While dining, the owner came in and was testing a new dessert item. She offered us a decadent brownie cookie bar with hints of expression and coconut shavings on top. Wow, what a rich way to finish our visit. Stop by. You will enjoy the "non sports bar" feel, cleanliness and personable staff.

RB Panini : cherry peppers, horseradish sun dried tomato aoli, side of kale salad* or chips. Beers: Hells lager, Founders Azacca

Perfect ambiance, not overstimulating, and space is nice and airy. It's my own ritual; I always order beignets, and they are consistently good, light and fluffy. This time I ordered the open face toast with bacon (I'm totally butchering what it's actually called), but it was giving eggs benny, and it was so so delicious. Their hollandaise sauce tasted house made so I asked my server (Katie, amazing, 5 stars. Super personable and friendly) and sure enough I learned B Street is a scratch kitchen (absolutely everything is made in-house). IMPRESSIVE. We had kids with us, so we got there an hour before it became 21+. Everyone was friendly, the food came pretty quick relative to how hopping it was. We ordered: Pho-rench dip (w/fries)--I think this was a DDD sandwich, so it's not some hidden gem, but it was super tasty. You cannot go wrong. The slight lime-iness of the dipping broth really kicked it into turbo. Also, we all likes the steak fries--a note on that later. Chicken Cheese Steak (w/fries)--my wife loved it. I tried a bite, and it was great--a little mushroom-forward, but we like that. Mac and Cheese--do not be fooled by the slightly smaller bowl, it is very filling. My son can eat his birth weight in pasta, and he had to tap out! I tried a bite--it was creamy (not grainy at all), and was just the right amount of salty and cheese-funky. Grilled cheese and tomato soup (w/fries)--perhaps the least successful for my family, but only because my daughter prefers a smoky/spicy tomato soup, and this was more on the sweet side. The griled cheese was of the "crispy cheese on the outside" ilk, which my daughter thought was really good. So, totally would go again. IMPORTANT NOTE (to people traveling through Chico, or who don't want to take leftovers)--the sandwiches are pretty big, and the add-on fry order is also sizeable. If we were going again tomorrow, we would either order 1 fry instead of 3. Or split a sandwich. Very very good pub.

I blame my daughter for this review…read more Last week we were headed to sushi when the smell coming from Parkside Tap House ambushed us on the sidewalk. Being pregnant, she's operating with heightened food detection abilities that rival military technology, so she immediately declared, "We're coming back here." A week later we returned with her boyfriend and brother, and what followed can best be described as a competitive eating event. The hostess greeted us warmly, got us seated quickly, and we settled into the lively outdoor patio. Great atmosphere, cold drinks, sports on the TVs, and just enough energy to feel fun without feeling chaotic. We started with ahi bites, beer cheese pretzels, jalapeño poppers, and Brussels sprouts. The ahi bites were fantastic. Fresh ahi, creamy avocado, crispy wontons, and a little heat at the finish line. The pretzels were soft enough to pull apart with your fingers and the beer cheese was rich and addictive. The jalapeño poppers got an unexpected upgrade from the blackberry BBQ sauce, which gave them a sweet, smoky personality all their own. Then there were the Brussels sprouts. Whoever thought of pairing Brussels sprouts with blackberry drizzle deserves a raise. Sweet, savory, crispy, tender, and impossible to stop eating. For dinner we sampled the taco bowl, brisket bowl, rice bowl loaded with brisket, and a house salad. The taco bowl was colorful, fresh, and loaded with flavor. The brisket bowl was my personal favorite. Smoky brisket over fried rice with vegetables, crispy wontons, cotija cheese, and a sweet-spicy sauce that kept me digging in long after I should have stopped. The rice bowl with added brisket was almost comical when it arrived. Massive chunks of brisket perched on top like they owned the place. Tender, smoky, juicy, and worth every penny. Even the house salad was fresh enough to remind us we were technically eating vegetables. What stood out most was that every dish felt like someone in the kitchen actually cared. Nothing felt thrown together. Portions were generous, flavors were bold, and everything hit the table looking as good as it tasted. We originally found Parkside by following our noses. After this meal, we'll be following our cravings back
