Service is great and bartenders are fabulous especially Tara, Ace, Katie and Erin. I will say my one negative is the island taquitos were way too sweet. Came here tonight for the first time and it exceeded our expectations! At first we were a little uncomfortable because we'd never been before and and it seemed like we didn't fit in but the bartender (who also served us) was amazing! I didn't get her name but she has dark hair with a shag cut and a septum piercing. She was super prompt and attentive even though there were some other customers and the food was some of the best I've had in chico! I had the garden fresh chicken sandwich with fries and the basil aioli was freaking amazing! My boyfriend had the special which was a bbq chicken bacon quesadilla. It also had jalapeños but was just the perfect amount of spice! We really enjoyed everything including the music and different things on the TVs. Love the internet jukebox! Football on the TVs and I picked a bunch great tunes from the internet jukebox. We visited on a weekday at about 1:00 pm and they were busier than I expected for a weekday afternoon. There was only one bartender/waitress and she was GREAT considering how busy she was! The food is really good. I wish I had taken photos. The burgers were huge and delicious.... the salad was big enough to feed 4 people. Those sidewinder fries were unique and tasty! I wish the games (pool etc) was in the same room as the bar/restaurant, but oh well. I'm looking forward to coming back. read more

Come here with a friend every time he visits chico, mainly because of an inside joke relating to the name of this place, but the food is so good we're excited to go regardless. Customer service is always very friendly, and everything in the menu is high quality and worth the money. read more

This bar has a friendly atmosphere to it. It can be extremely slammed on weekends, but the bartenders and servers do their best to accommodate everyone to the best of their abilities. There is a wide selection of food here that is amazing. I highly recommend visiting this location for brunch. Quackers does To-Go orders as well. read more

Chill place. Depending on the night the crowd changes . Watching the bartender be more interested in a dude then customers is quite agro when our table was thirsty for drinks . I have been there when the place is empty and got no service .. Update .. Service was waaaaay better this time around. As a drinking establishment, this is a fine place to get your drink on with your friends. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The patrons range from college age students to leopard print cougars in search of young prey. As of late November they serve food. I went for lunch and had a decent Philly cheese steak sandwich with a side of fries. The french fries were by far the best I've had in awhile. All this and two large flat screen TV's for watching football. Its worth a return visit. read more

My friends and I are from out of town and decided to get drinks here. I was closing my tab and the bartender, Amy, charged me an additional 3 drinks from what I ordered. 2 of the 3 drinks were charged because I thought my friend put his order on my tab, so I let it slide until my friend told me that he already paid for his own drinks when he ordered it. The 3rd drink that was one that neither me or my friend ordered. It was very easy to overlook. Another bartender helped me get the credit back to my account and Amy never looked in my direction to even apologize so it makes me believe that she's done this so many times to others and gotten away with it. I went in on a Friday night with a couple friends and had a great time! Quackers is now separated into separate rooms- one is for dancing and louder music with a bar, the other one has pool tables and a bar as well, with a calmer vibe. Although this place may look a bit ratchet. I thought it would be great to check this spot out with some out of town guests - not so good idea. We walked in, it felt a bit sketch. I always avoided this place and never really heard anything good about it. We moved into the neighborhood and decided to give this place a shot. It is much, much nicer than I had anticipated. The food is realllllyy good pub food, they have a ton of drink specials, and the staff is incredibly friendly. There are definitely some "good ol' boys" that frequent the establishment but there is a good mix of people (young & old) that go there. This is now my new favorite local watering hole. A great place to watch the game that doesn't break the budget. Get the pizza or the max & cheese!! :) read more

This is a great option if you generally don't care for dealing with the people downtown. The pub food is legitimately delicious. My favorites are the bbq chicken sandwich and the chicken tacos. The staff has been attentive any time I've visited. As with any sports bar, it gets pretty crowded when there is a game on. That's ok though because you can always order to go. read more

Went in here with some friends to eat, sat at the table for 20 minutes waiting for service the bartender just looked at us didn't even acknowledge that we were there or ask if we needed anything , we didn't get menus, drinks , nothing. So we left and got a sandwich across the street at the deli. Deli sandwich was delicious I suggest get that instead. Quackers:Horrible service won't be back . read more

Worst bartender I've ever had. Unless you're a longtime regular or relative you will not get desent service

wanted to like this place. tried it a few years ago. stopped after a few tries because of bad service. tried it again recently. nothing has changed. had long waits for acknowledgement in half full bar while wait staff of 3 or 4 chatted or studied the computer or just stood there. another time i got a beer and a menu at a table but then nobody ever came back. menu usually means the customer wants to order. last time i waited at a table for staff of four. nothing. then i went to stand at the bar. nothing. sat at the table again. nothing. on my way out tried the bar again. nothing. wasted ten minutes. like i said, want to like this place. good beers. football. great food. when i first returned to try this place again, sunday bartender was excellent. gave me hope but next visits ended that. i really dont mind a bar's shortcomings but poor service is not one of them. its pretty simple - make customers feel acknowledged and want to come back. customers come in to give you their money. don't make it difficult. above all, great service brings customers back. probably a management attitude issue. been going on for years? management does not care to address the poor service attitude of their employees. plenty of other places with good service - go there. read more
