Worst parts department of Ford in the valley. Waited forever, came in @ 2:30 and apparently they were short people because nobody was back from lunch.... says the guy who works there sitting on his phone, on his lunch break... then when we actually got someone to ask what we needed, he was rude & then went in the back to get the battery tester, he was gone for a long time. We just walked out & headed to our normal Ford service department in Scottsdale. Regretting we wasted so much time here. read more

Poor communication. Never was informed my vehicle was ready. More concerning is that none of the staff had face mask on during this pandemic. It is negligent not to use face mask, that is just pure science. read more

My wife and I drove to Bell Ford today as we heard they had a Dark Horse mustang to look at. After strictly driving German cars for the last 42 years we decided to look at an american car as my wife liked the looks of the mustang. Before we had time to exit our car we were met by a young woman who proceeded to let us know they had nothing in stock and if we wanted a car we had never seen or driven we would have to leave a $10,000.00 deposit .When I questioned her why was that necessary she let us know that this was their policy for a 95 thousand dollar car, I let her know the car has an msrp of about 65 thousand, she chuckled as if we were some kind of idiots and said as she walked away, good luck finding one at list price., let me close in saying that it was not a very long drive to our BMW dealer to order our M3 where these kinds of devious and underhanded business practices do not exist. read more

Too Long Didn't Read: Awful Service Department experience and predatory sales tactics. Never doing business with Bell Ford again, neither sales nor service, and ensuring my company's fleet is now taken elsewhere. -- Apparently I got the shady Anthony. I needed an oil change and my key fobs stopped responding to my vehicle, all 3 sets of keys. All batteries were replaced myself following this. Research narrowed down the repairs very quickly; this research was shared with Service. They pretty much told me to stick any research I've done elsewhere and get ready to eat the $150 diagnostic fee so they can figure it out themselves; figured this would be the case, so be it. I had a 9am appointment. I get there at 8:55 and wait outside for 20 minutes. Finally, an Anthony comes out to greet me and start paperwork. Not very interested in anything I had to say; things like 'you guys just replaced my engine 4 months ago', 'this is what I learned with researching my key fob issue', etc. More or less blew me off and continued on about the diag. fee and needed oil change. I was told they'd have a guy that should have it looked at well before noon. I finally get a call around 2:30PM and learn they haven't even completed the oil change yet. Long song and dance about electrical guy not being available etc, etc. Rest assured, he'll have time within the hour to take a look. 4:30 I receive a call, electrical guy was never able to take a look, oil change is wrapping up, and they're just gonna attempt to re-program my keys as they think this might be the issue after all. I ask about the $150 diag. fee, should be negated now, right? Begrudgingly agrees. I told them I doubt this would be the fix as all 3 keys died at the same time. Didn't care much, but stated I'd need to pay for 3 new batteries. I reminded him I already replaced all batteries. He then stated I need to program AT LEAST 2 KEYS AT A TIME, otherwise they don't work properly. (Untrue predatory sales tactic) Programming keys ended up not working, the tech suggested it being the 'receiver or transceiver, like my research showed, but "that wasn't a true diag. so we can't be sure". I then get my multi point inspection which comes with the overpriced oil change and I learn that: 1. I'm informed no coolant in my vehicle 2. I have a coolant leak Well that's odd, you guys literally just replaced my engine less than 4 months ago under warranty. "Uhhh, we did? Let me look into that." -- I got in touch with the Service department manager giving them the opportunity to make good of this situation and was failed to be contacted for well over 2 months since time of post. read more

Made an appointment for recall service. When the appointment was made I handed the keys to David and he said it would be a couple of days to get the work done, this was on a Wednesday. I called on Saturday to check on the vehicle, because I had not heard anything, but service was closed. No service on Sunday. So I called back on Monday to find out the disposition of my car. I was informed by David that the car wasn't ready but should be by Wednesday. Now a week has gone by. I have made all the calls to check on my car (which I use to get to work), no updates from Bell Ford. On Wednesday I call again. This time I discover that my car hasn't even been touched. It's in a que for service. Now the expected time is 10 days before they touch it. At this point I am more than beyond livid. I have wasted 7 days without my vehicle, and not once did Bell Ford wish to treat me with respect by being honest. This dealer will never get my business again, nor will I ever recommend them to any of my friends, peers, coworkers or anyone. If you don't live in Phoenix, don't bother looking to purchase any of Bell Ford's website cars for sale. I emailed, texted, and talked to a representative about a used truck and they said it was available. I explained I was from out of state and would be flying in to see it the next day. I asked if there was anything I could do, like put down a deposit, etc., to save it for the next morning before getting my plane reservations made. They told me it's not necessary and they "pulled the truck aside & took it off the internet" (or labeled it "sold"). They were very kind in that they offered to pick me up at the airport, so I believe the individuals I dealt with were sincere and I hold no malice against them. But that evening they called & told me someone had walked in & bought it. Until this phone call, they NEVER informed me that the ONLY way to hold it would be to wire the full purchase price to them! Fine... had I been told that UP FRONT, I would've made my decisions based on that, but they were NOT up front about their policies. Nor did they actually pull it or lable it "sold" on the internet, as it's actually STILL there. Anyone want an unused one way ticket to Phoenix? Integrity matters, but I'd guess not to Bell Ford management... only $$$, so next time you wonder why the world is going to Hades, look no further than businesses like this. read more

I was very disappointed with the service at this Ford Dealer. I was driving from California to Connecticut with my mother and my dog in my 2017 Ford Escape that was serviced just before I left San Diego. As we arrived in Phoenix, the check engine light turned on. I always took my car to the Ford dealer in my area and they were always great to work with, so I thought what better place than a Ford Dealership to address this issue. Since it was after hours, I could not reach anybody at the service center at this dealer that was closest to me where we stayed for the night in Phoenix. So I arrived when they opened in the morning hoping to at least get a diagnosis to know how much my cross country drive would be delayed. They were not helpful at all. They wouldn't even take the 2 minutes to run the diagnostic to see what the issue was. They said it would be 2-3 DAYS to get in. All I was asking for was a diagnosis so I would know how much I may be delayed. I understand scheduling, but I'm disappointed that they couldn't accomodate this simple request. Luckily I was able to get into Knudsen's Auto Specialists and they were able to diagnose the issue in less than 2 minutes. Luckily, it was nothing that required repair. But I'm disappointed that the Ford Dealer could not help me. read more

Came to this place, a couple of times to change my oil. Every time I changed it here my trucks performed poorly. I also brought it here to repair a seat motor, they lost a part and broke the panel. I complained to the management but they didn't even apologize or offer popcorn at least. Today I saw some good Samaritans with signs saying that they install broken parts on vehicles and that they do other unprofessional things to your cars. Bad owners have bad management and bad management hire bad employees. The culture of this place doesn't deserve to sell the FORD brand. There are some good employees but far from few. read more

I enjoyed buying my car and the sales experience, but I'm not a fan of the customer service after buying a vehicle. I bought two cars from them. For the first, it was a lease and they put the wrong amount of mileage on the car in my lease. They have over 100 miles less allowed on my lease than when I actually bought my car. I mentioned it when the paperwork was being done and they told me they corrected it, but I realized they didn't so I called them for weeks to get it corrected and still at 1 year later it hasn't been fixed. It's a $15 difference if I go 100 miles over the lease amount so I've given up because it's not worth it to keep wasting my time calling them. For the second, it took them over a month to send in the check to pay off my lease. I paid my car payment just a week before buying the new car (this was a purchase) and they paid off that car for me, but it took them way too long to pay off that car. I called for 2 weeks and was told no one could help me while my finance guy was on vacation. When he got back he was even more upset than I was and got it fixed right away, but the clerical staff was terribly unhelpful. Again, the buying process was great and I might buy from them again, but I will need to mentally prepare to stay on top of them to make sure the paperwork is done properly and timely if I do choose to buy from them again. read more

I'd give zero stars but that seems extreme. I brought my car in for an airbag replacement due to a manufacturing defect. I was told the car would be ready in 1 day. After the first day, I was called and told three other issues occurred with my car due to service department errors. They broke a part and my keys caused the alarm to sound upon being put in the ignition. After one week, the car now has no working turn indicators and I am unsure what else on the steering column is malfunctioning. Now the car is back in the service department. The over promise and under deliver. read more

Bell Ford - Car Dealers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I give the service a -ZERO (unfortunately Yelp will not post without the STAR) so I had to at least give one star. I made an appointment for an oil change. I arrived 15 minutes early, and they told me it could take up to and over three hours. I asked why, it's an oil change, the response was "I had to go into line with the walk-Ins". Why have an appointment if they are not going to honor the schedule and put walk-ins in the schedule and before the appointments!! Murci did not keep me posted on the progress. In fact I had to go to him. He was rude and did not even tell me where my car was! I do NOT RECOMMEND this dealership!! I have never waited for more then an hour and half for an oil change!! Next year when I'm ready to purchase my new vehicle you can bet it will not be from them!! read more

We are beyond thankful for the time, energy and effort that Smith and the team at Bell Ford put into our car. terrible bait and switch. We enjoyed working with Jose and waited two years for our base two-door automatic bronco. Out of nowhere, it was delivered the other day and the sales person that is taking over the deal called to come get it. We hurried over there assuming our deal was the way it should be. Once we got there the price was $5000 higher than agreed-upon the two years we waited. Furthermore, we have a apologetic letter from Ford saying that we were to receive $2500 in addition for the long wait and because we were waiting for a hard top. The manager team I believe is his name was fully aware of our deal as we constantly checked in. would not honor the deal so we walked away after two years. This is not my first car purchase. I buy new cars every few months. We are a cash transaction . And they could care less. Terrible service. I would not recommend Bell ford to anyone. We have a call into Ford to explain our experience! We purchased a Ford 150 about a year ago. We had great service then and we were very happy with the price and trade in that was provided. We took the car its first tune up a few months back, and they honored providing us a free oil change and first tune up. They provide free food in the waiting area and overall the service is fantastic. It is not near where we live, but will probably continue going there due to great service. When we purchased it out there, it was largely on price and the truck options we wanted. read more

I started my search at a few local dealers in the East Valley and turned down Bell ford due to distance. And then Adam called, very courteous and professional right out of the gate. His question to me, what can i do to earn your business and trust. All he wanted was the opportunity and he got it! Adam was extremely friendly, knowledgably and i felt like he actually worked for me and not the dealer. Between Adam and EJ they by far were the best tandem I've ever worked with purchasing a new car. Truly they both went above and beyond. They gave me the most for my 2019 BMW trade, discounted the new vehicle purchase and the dealer fees were the lowest I've seen in years. On top of it they picked up my trade and delivered the new truck to Gilbert AZ. The new Ford lineup is insane, the F150 Tremor is amazing and the entire experience in it self was priceless. Job well done and i will have a hard time going anywhere else. KUDOS read more

Drove two hours to purchase a vehicle. Turns out they had posted features that the vehicle did not actually have (I have screenshots) Used sales manager indicated it was not their responsibility to have accurate ads. Tells me to have a nice day, then later writes me a passive aggressive apology email telling me what a great deal I passed up (comps on the same vehicle way lower regardless of KBB). Needs managerial training (David Wilkinson)... "I'm sorry, but it's your fault for believing our ads, sorry we are not all perfect" is not the best way to gain customer confidence. Unreal... he also didn't spell Tucson correctly. Customer service...accuracy, it goes a long way Bell Ford. I wouldn't recommend buying floor mats from this place. I really wanted to give this place a five star because the service folks seemed to go out of their way to help me. I brought my 2013 Fusion in for recalls that needed to be attended to. Mind you I drove my car to the dealer holding on to my door, door latch ( one of the recalls) had finally failed. It took the dealer just a bit over 3 weeks to get that last door part in. Ok no worries. Get a message that my battery was no good and it needed to be replaced. Ok, if the car door don't close, I am sure the battery is not gunna take it. I said ok. No worries I paid for a new one. So I finally get a message and call the car is done. Whoohoo! I just picked it up, and waited because they could not find my keys. Was SO happy till I saw there was duck tape residue left on my car doors were they had made sure the door would stay closed. They could have cleaned it up. I was nice enough to deal with all else. It may seem petty, but it's an inconvenience. read more

Okay I am new to the area and recently bought a Ford from another small dealership with no service department. I was able to bring my Mustang in without an appointment (I knew this was a dice roll). Who doesn't love buying a new car? Well I don't. It's an all day process, never felt quite comfortable with all the "sales talk" or at least that has been my experience. But this time it was different. I was very clear about what I wanted, type of vehicle, color options, down payment, trade in option and if I can't have 0% financing I don't need a new car payment. Simple enough and just like that I got No gimmicks, No sales talk, No pressure and I got exactly what I wanted. Go see Hunter Mello if you are in the market, he'll take care of you. Sweet young man, big smile, friendly, helpful and eager to please. Far from a pressure salesman. He listens to what you want and then makes it happen. Buying during this time does not seem the most feasible and I wasn't convinced I even wanted a new car but the overall experience was smooth. Also Zach in financing pretty amazing as well. Zach was detail oriented, thorough and friendly. Answered all my questions. I mean the whole process combined took a couple of hours not my whole day which is appreciated. The service all around was great and I would DEFINITELY recommend Bell Ford to my friends and family. read more

I filled out a questionnaire when I showed interest in a truck at this dealership. In that questionnaire was a question asking me what I'd like to spend. I entered 22000. When I showed up to the dealership I sat down with a saleswoman. When I sat down I explained that I was looking for something in my price range that I stated. Apparently the vehicle that I called about supposed sold. So she showed me another truck which was more than double what I stated as my budget. After telling the woman I was only interested in my budget she proceeded to draw up paperwork on a 48000 dollar truck. When I told her I wasn't looking to spend that she ask why you make good money. At that point I got up and walked out of the dealership to be confronted at my truck by another salesman who said that they didn't even have any trucks under 32000. That's Bell Ford for wasting 3 hours of my life. I drove down the street and bought a 14000 dollar truck in less time than it took to look at trucks at Ford. I would urge the sales people to listen to the person buying and not try to push their customers into something they didn't ask for. read more

Great buying experience from Bell Ford. My wife purchased two cars from this location. A 2009 Fusion purchased brand new. And a 2015 Escape purchased in 2015 but it was used. The new guy in the service department wasn't very good. We had a hiccup on an oil change, and tire rotation. After sitting in the outside line for 30 minutes for a serviceman to greet me. Mind you I made an appointment days before. So here it is. I brought in the Escape, and waited over two hours. Only for them to call my wife's phone instead of calling me. When the truck was finished. But wait the new guy never asked me for my number. So I was there an additional hour. Because he couldn't get in touch with my wife. So that's 3 hours with no communication. We won't be going back there to do any maintenance on the Fords anymore. read more

I scheduled an appointment 2 days ago over the phone for service and my appointment was scheduled with Jim Hough for 7:30am this morning. I walk into the service center and over to his desk and say "Hi, I have an appointment with you this morning." HIs facial response was complete disgust, I said "last name Hartke with the 2012 fiesta" He responded "uh, ok". Seriously? that is how you treat a customer walking into your department? I should have walked out right then and there but I have problems with my car that really need to be addressed. I then proceeded to go over what I needed addressed on the vehicle and he listened halfheartedly, he asked if the car was there overnight if that was ok and i responded that my extended warranty covers a rental. He then got extremely defensive, at least that is how he came off to me. I confirmed with my warranty company that all of the issues I had were covered under my extended warranty that I paid $2000 extra for when I purchased the vehicle. I understand he was trying to make sure I was aware that if items weren't' covered I would be responsible but the way he was coming off was completely unacceptable. From the moment I walked in I knew he didn't want my business and he was annoyed that I was even there, and even if that wasn't truely how he fel that is the only thing i perceived from his facial expressions and his body language. How can you run a successful business and treat customers like that. Yesterday I had received a call from a sales agent who was calling people with service appointments to see about trading in my car and even though at the time he was discussing it I wasn't very interested I was able to think about it overnight and I was considering trading my car in for an F150 and I had every intention of talking to that sales agent today when I drop off my car for my service appointment but now I don't think so...not if that's the way they treat their service customers. *ITS BEEN ALMOST 2 WEEKS SINCE THIS HAPPENED AND I REACHED OUT TO THE MANAGER AND THEY HAVE NOT ADDRESSED IT AT ALL!!!* read more

One thing I can truly say about all Ford dealers I have been to for service is that it takes 5 to 10 time longer than necessary to get an oil change. Bell Ford took over 2 hrs to do a oil change and have two tires swaped and balanced. Outrageous! This is with an apointment scheduled. Also for those of you looking at the ESP (Fords prepay Service Plan) plan if you have any doubt to having to cancel it ever they charge $421 per oil change done against your refund. So keep that in mind. I Lost my job for several months and they refused to work with me so I had to cancel it. Got charged $842 for the 2 oil changes I had during the plan. They take way too long to get to your vehicle! I took my vehicle in for "an appointment" on a Monday at 9:30am. I told them the exact issue I was having and what the part was that was having the issue. They didn't touch it until Wednesday evening and said they didn't have an update yet for me. Finally on Thursday evening they sent an update as to the issues they found. I was right about the part that needed to be replaced. But they did an additional full vehicle inspection to tell me a bunch of other things that needed to keep an eye on for the future. Not pressing issues at all. They finally did the replacement work on Friday and I get it back Friday evening. There is no reason it should have taken 5 days to replace the part that I told them was bad, and they had it in stock. I will not be taking my vehicles there again. They may be closer to my house but I'll drive the extra miles to go to a more efficient mechanic. Don't waste your time, or they will. read more

This applies to the PARTS department only; I have only a single (positive) experience with SERVICE, and have only shopped SALES a couple of times, never purchased a vehicle here. I maintain my own vehicles. I have had many positive experiences purchasing parts retail at other dealerships and parts suppliers over the years, but NEVER at this dealership. For Ford parts, I prefer Sanderson Ford, but have used Bell Ford in a pinch on several occasions, because they are a little closer to home. No more. Their inventory and availability is poor ... almost always have to order out anything but accessories or parts for a very late model vehicle. Their counter techs are not knowledgeable; I have often had to show them on schematics (some I have printed myself) because they couldn't locate the parts I needed or provided the wrong parts. They are interested in the quick, high-dollar sale, and do the absolute minimum to track down parts or help a customer out. Just got treated rudely by a counter tech who didn't have my part, didn't want to order it, and wasn't interested in helping a DIYer out. Strike 3, Bell Ford. read more

My partner's car had a few recalls that needed to be done so we took his vehicle here which was a huge mistake. They told us it was going to be about two day wait after initially saying it was going to be a 4-6 hour fix. It's been about 6 DAYS and still have not received our vehicle. Clint's (the technician) communication is nonexistent, I had to call multiple times just to speak to a manager who said that the vehicle had no notes about what was going on with it. Third dealer of the day and things are not so bad yet not improving. We've had a rented Taurus for 3 weeks and have come to appreciate that while Ford had issues they seem capable of knocking out a good car ( I mean the ones in Europe don't all suck:) ). Tried out the Fusion. We have love hate relationship with the car we actually like it but hate the hell out of the central console unless it has a nav unit covering it up:) The sync, nav console is kinda cool in function too. So we want a fusion with the nav package , no sunroof. 1st thing they had us drive. the really fast one, Not the engine we wanted, but hey, try again, nope can't do that. In the end they said they don't have what we want but 6-8 weeks they could get one. Why can't we be told this at the time of our request? We say , we'd like, you say, nope that isn't standard not F around trying to fit us into your stock. We've had prior issues here. Tried to buy a Ford Hybrid last year and , well they showed us non hybrid, then another , then tried to sell an Edge, seriously we asked for a car that took them a while to admit they didn't have. Could they get one? They didn't care so Honda ended up getting the business that time. This time it was Mini. ( yep we set out to buy a big car and ended up in a small one) read more

After dealing with an old school dealership and being offered a joke price on my trade in, I saw the same vehicle and similar deal on a new Ford Edge Titanium with a huge dealer discount and rebates online. So I decided to contact them. I was emailed a price quote for an additional $1k off, so I went over to their dealership. I met Gilbert Morga as soon as I got out of my car. He was super friendly and cheerful, and conversed as if we were old friends. We took the vehicle for a test drive and walked back inside to discuss numbers. I then met a solid young man named Adrian Martinez and then by Ajay Martinez (not related). Ajay was hilarious and really made the experience very relaxed. We chatted while my car was being appraised. Adrian had me describe the car to him with all the typical details, but also my experiences and favorite things about it which he wrote down. He turned the form in and it wasn't long before the purchase price numbers came back. They were about 3500 higher than I expected, but part of that was the trade in value, which wasn't unreasonable for the initial offer. So I counter offered. Then the sales manager, Harley Williams stopped by to find out why our numbers didn't match. I first brought up that Id like a certain figure for my trade, and he didn't hesitate to accept it and then added $300 on top of it. That never happens. Then I opened my laptop with a prepared spreadsheet with all of the itemized costs and filled in things like tax rate and dealer add ons and showed it to Harley. He basically agreed with all of my numbers and made some adjustments, then handed me an offer sheet and we shook hands in a deal. It was such a smoking deal that I didn't even have to press on negotiating the bloated dealer add-ons that every dealer inserts these days. Incidentally, theirs were actually priced at $500 less than the average that other dealers charge. It was getting late, so I would come back the next morning to make the purchase. First of all, Harley said our handshake was good in lieu of a deposit. When I got home I reran the numbers and found a $400 discrepancy. I showed Harley the next morning and again, after verifying my calculations, didn't hesitate to adjust the price. This even though I was prepared to move forward with the OTD price we shook on. I was getting fatigued with everything going in my favor. I then worked with Gilbert on initial paperwork to complete the deal. He brought me a couple of slices of pizza as we finished up. Ajay popped in a couple of times to make sure I kept laughing and had me almost pee my pants at one point. Next over to finance and no surprises there with Kevin. Of course he had to offer an extended bumper to bumper warranty and stressed the fact that the factory warranty was only a limited warranty and does not cover things that were covered only a few short years ago.. I was not aware of that and it had me seriously consider the purchase, especially on a technology saturated vehicle. Next, Adrian took me out to say goodbye to my faithful friend of five years and get me acquainted with my new Edge. Of course they send out the youngest guy to show you how to operate the technology! I didn't keep him too long as it will take a month long training course to figure out how to understand and use all of the technology on this loaded vehicle. I can't recommend Bell Ford enough based on my experience. The crew I worked with was outstanding and made my experience very relaxing and enjoyable. I almost forgot that I got an amazing vehicle for about 12k off of MSRP and a very good trade in price. So far, I love my new Edge. read more
