We have had ford for the past 5 years and each year it seems worst. Recently about 2 months ago my husband and I got a notice of better deals and all this advertisement, we went there to see what our options could be.. it was TERRiBLe! They told us "we have a lot of options for you" and continued to show us two cars a red one with dents and the other was a car that smelled of cigarette smoke! It was so grosss! 6 minutes ago I DO NOT RECOMMEND Bell Ford Service Dept. We took our vehicle to them for an airbag safety recall. After the service, the vehicle began to stall. They told us the stalling was due to a faulty alternator and replacement would cost $850.00. We got a second opinion and they found NOTHING wrong with the alternator. The situation has left us with 2 questions: 1. Did they intentionally lie in attempt to steal? 2. Are they not capable of performing their job adequately? Nonetheless, we are now EXTREMELY concerned over the quality of the airbag service they performed, and according to several letters from Ford it was/is a VERY dangerous airbag defect. Overall their personnel was rude and they have offered no real help. Still considering further options 12/16: Kimberly, wouldn't you be frustrated too?? Also, my phone number has not changed. No one from Bell Ford has tried to contact me. Several managers across multiple areas have my phone number, no one has tried to help. You have been given wrong information. read more

I've been with Ford for 7 years, my family for over two decades. They swear by Ford, but I'm starting to question their opinion about it since I started having bad experiences with the car (2016 Ford Fusion) and the company over the last 3 years. Last night at 8:25pm my car cut off right when I got off the highway and wouldn't drive without an explanation. Brakes locked up and when stepping on the gas there was no engine rev nor acceleration. After waiting for 5hrs for a tow truck, it finally would drive. I dropped it off at Bell Ford at 1:30am and even wrote a note with an explanation of what happened and stated that I was driving out of town later that day. I also asked for a oil change and tire rotation for my travels. No one was keeping me posted throughout the day. I left work in the afternoon and it took me two hours to finally get ahold of my service rep who ended up messaging me at 2pm about there being no update WHILE I was on hold on the phone for 30mins trying to reach her. I sent a text back 40mins later saying I would be on the way shortly. At this point I want to just pick up my car and cancel everything. Immediately after sending that text I got a call from the service rep. The mechanic started working on it "two hours" ago. It's now 3pm, therefore my car wasn't even looked at until last minute. I asked if the the tire rotations and oil change has been completed and it wasn't. I was told two more hours and that it would be done around 5pm. And I am being charged a $200 diagnosis fee when they couldn't duplicate the issue, could find nothing wrong with my car, and didn't even do the oil change or tire rotations yet. I'm very late for my out of town trip and have wasted so much money and for nothing...I am disappointed with Bell Ford. How are you "number one" in Arizona and providing this type of service? I would not recommend this location and this is the final poor experience I will accept from Ford. I am definitely interested in considering other vehicle options with different dealerships because Ford has continued to let me down and always over charges. Stay away from here!!! read more

Customer relations manager recently responded to another review of mine where I noted a horrible experience at the service department which resulted in me having to call Ford headquarters in Dearborn, MI to complain about the situation, and having no luck there either. At least someone responded, just not sure if it was to help me or offer compensation or free repairs if I so asked, it was rather vague on their end in regards to what exactly Bell Ford was trying to accomplish in talking to me. It's definitely not "OH, so sorry" and my response "thanks, I accept your apology". The CR person was not sure or believed I was a customer, which I stated I had only purchased items through the parts department there, and inquired about service, then I was done after being rejected. I needed a warranty/recall part replaced on my 2013 lemon Ford Focus, was told in person, this is after calling and speaking with a tech first who couldn't help me, by the service manager last year that it's a minimum 30 day wait to have your vehicle diagnosed, then they have to get the part, which is on backorder, so who knows when. That's unacceptable, would have no car to drive and lose my job, no way. Now the vehicle is past the recall miles and I'm stuck with the FORD FOCUS LEMON, one of the worst vehicles Ford ever made... I was asked by the CRM "what can I do to help you", I guess they were looking for an answer like "fix my car for free", or something like that, so they could reject me again, unbelievable. So anyway, I found all the FORD MOTORCRAFT BRAND GENUINE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE WITH FREE DELIVERY AT WALMART ONLINE, so no need for Bell Ford or Ford in general at this point, they just don't care about customers, they just want to protect their money and incomes, I get it, I understand the bottom line. Blown away. Came into have a part put into my 2019 F150 that I bought through them. There was a few hiccups with my appointment time being honored and price I was quoted changes 3 times. I asked to speak with a supervisor because I was frustrated with what seemed like inconsistency and wasn't really expecting anything other than an apology . When I expressed my frustration with all of this. He was extremely apologetic, he listened to all of my concerns and frustrations, and overall I was blown away by his customer service. He let me vent and he made it right. Thank you for making me feel valued and treating me with respect. There is not a lot of that out there. Seriously, don't go here for service. Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. They play games and make excuses. My car sat untouched for two weeks and that's with an appointment. Four weeks later they fixed 1 of the 3 problems, so I had to bring it back multiple times. Gave my vehicle back to me with a dead battery due to the interior lights being left on, so I had to buy a new battery. Interior had grease and dirty hand prints all over it. Just the biggest bunch of sh*theals you can imagine. I actually sold the car after having it serviced and will never buy a Ford again. My wife and I drove to Bell Ford today as we heard they had a Dark Horse mustang to look at. After strictly driving German cars for the last 42 years we decided to look at an american car as my wife liked the looks of the mustang. Before we had time to exit our car we were met by a young woman who proceeded to let us know they had nothing in stock and if we wanted a car we had never seen or driven we would have to leave a $10,000.00 deposit .When I questioned her why was that necessary she let us know that this was their policy for a 95 thousand dollar car, I let her know the car has an msrp of about 65 thousand, she chuckled as if we were some kind of idiots and said as she walked away, good luck finding one at list price., let me close in saying that it was not a very long drive to our BMW dealer to order our M3 where these kinds of devious and underhanded business practices do not exist. read more

Go to any other dealership besides Bell Ford, this was the worst customer service I have ever received, extremely rude receptionist in the service department refusing to schedule an appt for my truck for diagnostic test for a warning light that came on. She stated that even with an appt I had to drop my truck off for "3-4 days" just for a diagnosis of what was causing the warning light, that did not include repair time and I was on my own for a rental car!!! As I try and understand why this is the case the receptionist began heavy sighing and repeating the same thing over and over again w out answering my questions. If you don't live in Phoenix, don't bother looking to purchase any of Bell Ford's website cars for sale. I emailed, texted, and talked to a representative about a used truck and they said it was available. I explained I was from out of state and would be flying in to see it the next day. I asked if there was anything I could do, like put down a deposit, etc., to save it for the next morning before getting my plane reservations made. They told me it's not necessary and they "pulled the truck aside & took it off the internet" (or labeled it "sold"). They were very kind in that they offered to pick me up at the airport, so I believe the individuals I dealt with were sincere and I hold no malice against them. But that evening they called & told me someone had walked in & bought it. Until this phone call, they NEVER informed me that the ONLY way to hold it would be to wire the full purchase price to them! Fine... had I been told that UP FRONT, I would've made my decisions based on that, but they were NOT up front about their policies. Nor did they actually pull it or lable it "sold" on the internet, as it's actually STILL there. Anyone want an unused one way ticket to Phoenix? Integrity matters, but I'd guess not to Bell Ford management... only $$$, so next time you wonder why the world is going to Hades, look no further than businesses like this. read more

terrible bait and switch. We enjoyed working with Jose and waited two years for our base two-door automatic bronco. Out of nowhere, it was delivered the other day and the sales person that is taking over the deal called to come get it. We hurried over there assuming our deal was the way it should be. Once we got there the price was $5000 higher than agreed-upon the two years we waited. Furthermore, we have a apologetic letter from Ford saying that we were to receive $2500 in addition for the long wait and because we were waiting for a hard top. The manager team I believe is his name was fully aware of our deal as we constantly checked in. would not honor the deal so we walked away after two years. This is not my first car purchase. I buy new cars every few months. We are a cash transaction . And they could care less. Terrible service. I would not recommend Bell ford to anyone. We have a call into Ford to explain our experience! Sitting in the "quicklube" on a Saturday afternoon. They should consider another name. I was told it would be an hour to an hour and a half for an oil change and tire rotation. I thought, "ok, it's Saturday." I am now (so far) two hours in and my car has still not been taken back. About to pull the plug in this. This will be my last trip to this dealer Fair is fair. Because its location was convenient, I revisited the dealership. They have apparently done away with the "quick lube ". In the service drive, I was greeted by an advisor who took my car back and told me it would take about two hours to get the oil changed because they were busy. These guys know how to treat folks! I really enjoyed the way they were very family business oriented! I purchased a truck last week and there was no haggling like you find at other dealerships! I was so surprised that their 1st offer was exactly the right numbers that I had researched!! After finishing the deal there was an issue with Ford Motor Credit and they called me and when I came in they completely handled the issue with NO COST to me! I was really impressed. I was shopping online when I found a great price on a vehicle I was looking to purchase, it brought me to Bell Ford. Upon exiting my vehicle in the parking lot, I was greeting by Spencer B.. I informed him that a different salesmen had already texted us and that we were there to meet him, as well as, test drive a vehicle. Another sales person approached and explained that he'd be assisting Spencer to assist me. They were both very friendly. I test drove the vehicle I came there to see and expressed interest in another Ford vehicle and test drove it. I decided to purchase the initial vehicle that I test drove. As we started the paperwork, I explained to the Sales people that my spouse and I filed bankruptcy last year, and we're trying to avoid having our credit ran through several banks as we've worked hard to bring out score up and plan on buying a house in May of 2019. I explained that I started an application with Ford Motor Credit and would prefer to just go through them. The sales guy spoke with the F & I guy, ran my credit, came back and suggested to allow them to run it through Ally bank in case Ford Motor Credit wasn't able to approve the loan. I agreed. He brought me a form that was a release to allow them to run credit. He assured me that they only needed me to sign the form so they could send my application to Ally. I agreed and signed as he seemed pretty honest. I ended up getting approved through Ally and completed the purchase. Several days later, I'm still getting credit decisions from multiple lenders totaling 11 banks that they submitted my application to. I'm very disappointed, hurt and regretful that I purchased a vehicle from Bell Ford. My chances of purchasing a home (which were not very high due to the bankruptcy) are very low due to the amount of inquiries. I hope that anyone who is in a similar situation as mine is able to read this review and be alert when purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. read more

Waited forever, came in @ 2:30 and apparently they were short people because nobody was back from lunch.... says the guy who works there sitting on his phone, on his lunch break... then when we actually got someone to ask what we needed, he was rude & then went in the back to get the battery tester, he was gone for a long time. Too Long Didn't Read: Awful Service Department experience and predatory sales tactics. Never doing business with Bell Ford again, neither sales nor service, and ensuring my company's fleet is now taken elsewhere. -- Apparently I got the shady Anthony. I needed an oil change and my key fobs stopped responding to my vehicle, all 3 sets of keys. All batteries were replaced myself following this. Research narrowed down the repairs very quickly; this research was shared with Service. They pretty much told me to stick any research I've done elsewhere and get ready to eat the $150 diagnostic fee so they can figure it out themselves; figured this would be the case, so be it. I had a 9am appointment. I get there at 8:55 and wait outside for 20 minutes. Finally, an Anthony comes out to greet me and start paperwork. Not very interested in anything I had to say; things like 'you guys just replaced my engine 4 months ago', 'this is what I learned with researching my key fob issue', etc. More or less blew me off and continued on about the diag. fee and needed oil change. I was told they'd have a guy that should have it looked at well before noon. I finally get a call around 2:30PM and learn they haven't even completed the oil change yet. Long song and dance about electrical guy not being available etc, etc. Rest assured, he'll have time within the hour to take a look. 4:30 I receive a call, electrical guy was never able to take a look, oil change is wrapping up, and they're just gonna attempt to re-program my keys as they think this might be the issue after all. I ask about the $150 diag. fee, should be negated now, right? Begrudgingly agrees. I told them I doubt this would be the fix as all 3 keys died at the same time. Didn't care much, but stated I'd need to pay for 3 new batteries. I reminded him I already replaced all batteries. He then stated I need to program AT LEAST 2 KEYS AT A TIME, otherwise they don't work properly. (Untrue predatory sales tactic) Programming keys ended up not working, the tech suggested it being the 'receiver or transceiver, like my research showed, but "that wasn't a true diag. so we can't be sure". I then get my multi point inspection which comes with the overpriced oil change and I learn that: 1. I'm informed no coolant in my vehicle 2. I have a coolant leak Well that's odd, you guys literally just replaced my engine less than 4 months ago under warranty. "Uhhh, we did? Let me look into that." -- I got in touch with the Service department manager giving them the opportunity to make good of this situation and was failed to be contacted for well over 2 months since time of post. read more

They take way too long to get to your vehicle! I took my vehicle in for "an appointment" on a Monday at 9:30am. I told them the exact issue I was having and what the part was that was having the issue. They didn't touch it until Wednesday evening and said they didn't have an update yet for me. Finally on Thursday evening they sent an update as to the issues they found. I was right about the part that needed to be replaced. But they did an additional full vehicle inspection to tell me a bunch of other things that needed to keep an eye on for the future. Not pressing issues at all. They finally did the replacement work on Friday and I get it back Friday evening. There is no reason it should have taken 5 days to replace the part that I told them was bad, and they had it in stock. I will not be taking my vehicles there again. They may be closer to my house but I'll drive the extra miles to go to a more efficient mechanic. Don't waste your time, or they will. read more

Made an appointment for recall service. When the appointment was made I handed the keys to David and he said it would be a couple of days to get the work done, this was on a Wednesday. I called on Saturday to check on the vehicle, because I had not heard anything, but service was closed. No service on Sunday. So I called back on Monday to find out the disposition of my car. I was informed by David that the car wasn't ready but should be by Wednesday. Now a week has gone by. I have made all the calls to check on my car (which I use to get to work), no updates from Bell Ford. On Wednesday I call again. This time I discover that my car hasn't even been touched. It's in a que for service. Now the expected time is 10 days before they touch it. At this point I am more than beyond livid. I have wasted 7 days without my vehicle, and not once did Bell Ford wish to treat me with respect by being honest. This dealer will never get my business again, nor will I ever recommend them to any of my friends, peers, coworkers or anyone. If you want bait and switch and lack of respect this is the place for you. read more

Came to this place, a couple of times to change my oil. Every time I changed it here my trucks performed poorly. I also brought it here to repair a seat motor, they lost a part and broke the panel. I complained to the management but they didn't even apologize or offer popcorn at least. Today I saw some good Samaritans with signs saying that they install broken parts on vehicles and that they do other unprofessional things to your cars. Bad owners have bad management and bad management hire bad employees. The culture of this place doesn't deserve to sell the FORD brand. There are some good employees but far from few. read more

I was very disappointed with the service at this Ford Dealer. I was driving from California to Connecticut with my mother and my dog in my 2017 Ford Escape that was serviced just before I left San Diego. As we arrived in Phoenix, the check engine light turned on. I always took my car to the Ford dealer in my area and they were always great to work with, so I thought what better place than a Ford Dealership to address this issue. Since it was after hours, I could not reach anybody at the service center at this dealer that was closest to me where we stayed for the night in Phoenix. So I arrived when they opened in the morning hoping to at least get a diagnosis to know how much my cross country drive would be delayed. They were not helpful at all. They wouldn't even take the 2 minutes to run the diagnostic to see what the issue was. They said it would be 2-3 DAYS to get in. All I was asking for was a diagnosis so I would know how much I may be delayed. I understand scheduling, but I'm disappointed that they couldn't accomodate this simple request. Luckily I was able to get into Knudsen's Auto Specialists and they were able to diagnose the issue in less than 2 minutes. Luckily, it was nothing that required repair. But I'm disappointed that the Ford Dealer could not help me. read more

I enjoyed buying my car and the sales experience, but I'm not a fan of the customer service after buying a vehicle. I bought two cars from them. For the first, it was a lease and they put the wrong amount of mileage on the car in my lease. They have over 100 miles less allowed on my lease than when I actually bought my car. I mentioned it when the paperwork was being done and they told me they corrected it, but I realized they didn't so I called them for weeks to get it corrected and still at 1 year later it hasn't been fixed. It's a $15 difference if I go 100 miles over the lease amount so I've given up because it's not worth it to keep wasting my time calling them. For the second, it took them over a month to send in the check to pay off my lease. I paid my car payment just a week before buying the new car (this was a purchase) and they paid off that car for me, but it took them way too long to pay off that car. I called for 2 weeks and was told no one could help me while my finance guy was on vacation. When he got back he was even more upset than I was and got it fixed right away, but the clerical staff was terribly unhelpful. Again, the buying process was great and I might buy from them again, but I will need to mentally prepare to stay on top of them to make sure the paperwork is done properly and timely if I do choose to buy from them again. read more

I'd give zero stars but that seems extreme. I brought my car in for an airbag replacement due to a manufacturing defect. I was told the car would be ready in 1 day. After the first day, I was called and told three other issues occurred with my car due to service department errors. They broke a part and my keys caused the alarm to sound upon being put in the ignition. After one week, the car now has no working turn indicators and I am unsure what else on the steering column is malfunctioning. Now the car is back in the service department. I give the service a -ZERO (unfortunately Yelp will not post without the STAR) so I had to at least give one star. I made an appointment for an oil change. I arrived 15 minutes early, and they told me it could take up to and over three hours. I asked why, it's an oil change, the response was "I had to go into line with the walk-Ins". Why have an appointment if they are not going to honor the schedule and put walk-ins in the schedule and before the appointments!! Murci did not keep me posted on the progress. In fact I had to go to him. He was rude and did not even tell me where my car was! I do NOT RECOMMEND this dealership!! I have never waited for more then an hour and half for an oil change!! Next year when I'm ready to purchase my new vehicle you can bet it will not be from them!! read more

We purchased a Ford 150 about a year ago. We had great service then and we were very happy with the price and trade in that was provided. We took the car its first tune up a few months back, and they honored providing us a free oil change and first tune up. They provide free food in the waiting area and overall the service is fantastic. It is not near where we live, but will probably continue going there due to great service. When we purchased it out there, it was largely on price and the truck options we wanted. read more

Turns out they had posted features that the vehicle did not actually have (I have screenshots) Used sales manager indicated it was not their responsibility to have accurate ads. Tells me to have a nice day, then later writes me a passive aggressive apology email telling me what a great deal I passed up (comps on the same vehicle way lower regardless of KBB). Needs managerial training (David Wilkinson)... "I'm sorry, but it's your fault for believing our ads, sorry we are not all perfect" is not the best way to gain customer confidence. Unreal... he also didn't spell Tucson correctly. Customer service...accuracy, it goes a long way Bell Ford. I wouldn't recommend buying floor mats from this place. I really wanted to give this place a five star because the service folks seemed to go out of their way to help me. I brought my 2013 Fusion in for recalls that needed to be attended to. Mind you I drove my car to the dealer holding on to my door, door latch ( one of the recalls) had finally failed. It took the dealer just a bit over 3 weeks to get that last door part in. Ok no worries. Get a message that my battery was no good and it needed to be replaced. Ok, if the car door don't close, I am sure the battery is not gunna take it. I said ok. No worries I paid for a new one. So I finally get a message and call the car is done. Whoohoo! I just picked it up, and waited because they could not find my keys. Was SO happy till I saw there was duck tape residue left on my car doors were they had made sure the door would stay closed. They could have cleaned it up. I was nice enough to deal with all else. Okay I am new to the area and recently bought a Ford from another small dealership with no service department. I was able to bring my Mustang in without an appointment (I knew this was a dice roll). I needed an additional fob purchased and programmed and also needed an oil change and an all around inspection. I was VERY impressed with JC and his willingness to work with the after market warranty company. They got the entire thing done (and didn't mind driving me back and forth to Anthem with the shuttle drive) in less than 4 hours. I would highly recommend Bell Ford. read more
