The car my grandfather wanted, never got in the end and still dealing with the canceled contract issue.

What can they improve? My grandpa came down here wanting a car the 2017 Chevy Impala that was $15k and it had a back up camera, when we went to look at it the paint was chipped, there was MOLD in the truck and water in the truck as well. We were promised by Moses that we will get the car some time in November of 2025 since we ended up buying the car and almost a month they kept postponing us with the backup camera constantly. We cancled the contract and we were being begged to give them more time but they already gave us the bill for a car we dont have in our driveway. We kept trying to call the people who work there and no one would awnser their phones. While we had to deal with the 2 thousand dollar bill for this nonexistent car. Kept having a hard time even contacting the dealers or being put on hold repeatedly, we got our money back on December 13th, but kept putting us on hold because they didnt fully cancle the contract on December 29th after calling their bank and threatening with a lawyer for what is going on we had to call them back, nevertheless they didnt awnser my grandmother's phone and I had to use mine to get someone on the line, from this whole experience. Their customer service sucks, they wont take accountability for holding your car hostage and giving you a bill for something that they still have in their own parking lot, and they will hang up on you too to top it off. Simply enough this place sucks and definitely will NOT recommend to anyone to go here and get a car from this place. The only thing you'll get is stress and having to pull teeth to get a simple response from them. Had to call corporate on them 3 times. Thank you for the stress Autonation really did not need it.

They also sold me an extended warranty saying that it covered "bumper to bumper" issues for the first 24 months or 24,000 miles. I thought I scored a great deal, and everyone was helpful while I was purchasing. A few weeks later I was looking through the fine print on my warranty papers because the AC was acting up. Turns out that because I had an aftermarket lift kit, all suspension issues would not be covered. Well, that would have been nice to know! Good thing I paid full price for a warranty that was only partially useful. When I called Midway, they told me to take it up with the third-party warranty company. Really?! Anyways, took the Lexus in for the AC, Midway's service department said they were too busy to service it, and the Lexus dealership found $17,000 dollars wrong with the SUV!!! From the suspension about to fall off to a bad radiator, which turns out my bumper-to-bumper warranty was only "silver grade" so it didn't cover that too (also lied too). Before taxes and fees, the car was only listed for $25,000. If knew I had to spend $17,000 dollars for a used car I just got, I would have bought new. Worst of all, I can't get a single person to message me back about the issue. I've been ghosted from managers to my sales rep on the situation. I mean multiple attempts and NOTHING in response. I wouldn't trust this dealership if my life depended on it. Stay far away.

I've never purchased a car or repair from here, but I have done multiple routine maintenance appointments. For car servicing, drive up to the service center area towards the far left side of the dealership. Park your car curbside in front of one of the service advisors' offices. Then you'll be checked in to your appointment. Your service advisor will verify your information, and take your car. In my case, since I have TOYOTA care, my advisor also verify that the service will be free, even though I know that. Despite this not being an option on the website, they can Uber you home! You don't have to wait at the dealership or pay for a rental car! The Uber is free! Not sure if all Toyota dealerships offer this, but their service has always been amazing. The process was filled with misinformation, delays, and a complete lack of communication and accountability. Our salesman, Xavier, told me the vehicle had been on their lot for a week, which was not true. Edwin we were told was the manager and he was no help either. I requested a buyer's order numerous times, and when I finally received one, it was not the correct buyer's order required by my bank. I later found out why: the vehicle was still in transit. At the time, they were adding dealer-installed options to the vehicle, and I had to fight with them to have those options removed. They refused. My understanding is that dealer add-ons, such as window tint, ceramic coating, pinstripes, or nitrogen-filled tires, are not legally required as a condition of purchasing a vehicle. According to the Arizona Attorney General's Auto Purchases Guide, everything in a vehicle purchase is negotiable, and consumers have the right to walk away if a dealership refuses to remove unwanted add-ons. Eventually, I managed to get everything completed on my end. Before making the nine-hour drive to the dealership, I called again to confirm that the truck was there. I was told it was. We arrived first thing in the morning, only to find that no one seemed to know why we were there or where our vehicle was. After repeatedly asking, we were told the truck was still at the rail yard awaiting delivery. I spent hours arguing with the dealership to get someone to retrieve the truck. I explained that my bank would expect its collateral to be available, and someone needed to take responsibility and go get it. When we finally got the truck, it had not been cleaned, the ZakTek treatment had never been installed despite my being charged for it, and the brand-new truck had virtually no fuel in it. I eventually received a refund for the ZakTek charge, but it took a month. We arranged our own financing. During this experience, a very kind employee approached me and told me that Xavier and other salespeople at this dealership were known for misleading customers about vehicles being on the lot when they were not. That was incredibly concerning to hear. Throughout the entire ordeal, I never received a single apology. No manager contacted me during or after the sale to acknowledge what had happened or take responsibility. Now, I am attempting to trade that truck back to Midway for another vehicle. You would think I would have learned my lesson, but unfortunately, the same issues are happening all over again. This time, the vehicle is actually on the lot, and they even sent me pictures of it. However, I have repeatedly had to request a buyer's order, followed by corrections to that buyer's order. I was offered a specific trade-in amount, which I have in writing, only to have that amount lowered later. Additionally, Midway's website now clearly lists "Dealer Added Optional Accessories" with a link stating: "ZakTek -- Disclosure: Optional equipment and upgrades may be offered at time of sale for additional cost or removed by the dealer for no additional cost." The disclosure is clear: these options can be removed. Yet, despite this written statement on their own website, they are still refusing to remove the ZakTek charge from my current deal. I am extremely disappointed with Midway's sales department and management. The repeated misinformation, lack of transparency, changing numbers, and refusal to honor what is stated on their own website are unacceptable. After my first experience, I gave this dealership another chance, and I am once again dealing with the same frustrating behavior. Does the general manager even know what is going on at this dealership? Based on my experiences, I have serious concerns about how this dealership operates and how its customers are treated. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Midway to get everything in writing, verify that the vehicle is physically on the lot before making the trip, and carefully review every charge before signing. My experience has been disappointing from start to finish, and the lack of accountability from both the sales staff and management has been particularly frustrating.

Before going to the dealership, I spoke with a representative over the phone who described himself as a "bankruptcy specialist." I was specifically told that he works with lenders, including Honda Financial, and that he could help get someone in an active bankruptcy approved for financing. Based on that conversation, my wife and I made the trip to Bell Honda on Sunday with the expectation that we were working with someone who understood our situation and could potentially help us. Unfortunately, we spent approximately three hours at the dealership waiting while the representative was assisting other customers and we were assigned to a rep named "J", who just joined the team. Hourse go by and we ultimately had to leave. Before leaving, we asked the representative, who had been assisting us because the original representative was unavailable, to contact us once they had identified a lender that could work with our situation. Hours passed that day, and we never received a call. I called the dealership the following day for an update and was then told that, unfortunately, there were no lenders available who could approve me. Had I been given that information upfront, I would not have spent three hours at the dealership or made the drive there in the first place. There are other Honda dealerships much closer to my home that I could have contacted. For context, I am currently in an active Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I have an existing Honda Prologue lease and am looking to turn in that vehicle and move into a new financed Honda. My bankruptcy attorney has already advised me that this type of purchase can potentially be approved by my Chapter 13 trustee. I simply need to obtain a purchase contract and monthly payment information so the appropriate paperwork can be submitted to the trustee. I completely understand that a dealership cannot guarantee financing approval, especially when someone is in an active bankruptcy. My frustration is with the way the situation was represented to me over the phone. If I had simply been told, "We work with people in bankruptcy, but we cannot guarantee that we have a lender who will approve you," I would have had a much more realistic expectation. Instead, I was given the impression that this representative specialized in bankruptcy financing and had access to lenders such as Honda Financial that could potentially get me approved. That ultimately resulted in a significant amount of my time being wasted. I am sharing this review specifically for other consumers who may be in an active Chapter 13 bankruptcy and are trying to replace or finance a vehicle. If you are in a similar situation, especially if you are currently leasing a Honda and are looking to transition into a financed vehicle, I would recommend contacting other Honda dealerships first and clearly asking whether they have lenders who actually work with active Chapter 13 customers before making the trip. Again, I understand that financing is never guaranteed. My issue is not that I was ultimately declined; my issue is that I feel the expectations set during my initial phone conversation did not match what the dealership was ultimately able to provide. Hopefully, this review helps another consumer avoid making the same trip and losing several hours of their day unnecessarily. Out of respect, I will not share the name of this "Bankruptcy Specialist" and if consumers bypass this review, you can get this same experience by this rep.
