Once again, another bad experience. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation and was recommended I change my tire because I had a bubble in it. I okayed it so I can be safe on the road. At first they were going to give me a ride home because they wouldn't have the tire until later. Then they said they could give me a ride but couldn't guarantee a ride back to pick up my car. That's crazy, but okay I'll figure it out. So I wait for the shuttle. Then they said actually, you live too far you can't get a ride. Okay, but you had me waiting. Then they said they could shuttle me somewhere close to kill time like the movie theatre or something. So I said okay. Then the shuttle ain't even there to bring me so I wait. Well no ETA on shuttle so now that I been at the service dept for well over 2 hours, I decide to go for a walk. So my oil change, tire rotation, and one tire replacement had me at the dealer from 7:30 am - 1:15pm. My service advisor was polite but it's like everytime I go I get misinformation and there's no gesture to make up for any of it or the inconvenience. The only reason I keep going back is because I'm in a lease and I don't want no bullcrap when I return my car about it not being serviced properly and mystery fees that they might make up. I have no trust in this place and can't wait until my lease is up. Also, the manager responded and says my oils changes are for every 7500 miles to cover my lease duration, but everyone has told me I need an oil change every 5000 and my light pops up at that interval. So yea, the lease does not cover oil changes for the entire duration of the lease. read more

Shady, dishonest shiesters that sell shoddy Cars, add extras the car doesn't have, will lie while you're standing there to make themselves look better rather than tell the truth. Beware, I am still traumatized by this experience. I really hadn't a clue that I was being ripped off of thousands of dollars. What could have been corrected became an experience they can never fix. A car that was in for a recall - was misinformedabout what was covered (everything) them taking my car and giving me one with a bad tranny (lasted 2 mos). What should have occoured was them fixing my car. Instead, they said they would make it right to my father an old veteran. Then whenever he called back - for a better part of the year, the man was convieniently not around. Well he's no longer here, so Chapman, you got away with ripping off an old veteran. She made sure we knew she would be right with us. We watched her take care of the others with great care and professionalism. For us, we had some unusual questions about a road trip and she was great. She provided guidance and reassurance. I really appreciated her help! I also have to add that I love the electronic communication of my car's status and recommendations on repairs. On March 10th I took my 2023 Kona in for an oil change. My Service Advisor Jaime Heyns was busy as always but got my car promptly in at my appt time. I hung out in the customer waiting area with a cup of coffee (no donuts). This was for the last free service for Kona. It was done in 25 minutes and I received a copy of the full multipoint inspection. I haven't needed anything but recommended maintenance with my Kona but am confident IF I did Chapman Service could handle it efficiently. If this was not a recall item, I would've paid 7,56.90 fortunately I had to pay $2940.90 .I was informed that my car was on a recall item of a new engine, Chapman Hyundai fix the problem. Had to get new parts to the new engine in order for it to be completed. This is a warranty that will cover the car as long as I own it. Jamie was awesome. She was a rockstar. she answered any questions that I had. I highly recommend going to Chapman. The mechanic that worked on my vehicle was awesome. I am happy as a clam. They advertised a price for the car, I offered to buy at that price, they refused to sell the car because I didn't want the " OPTIONS" they wanted to sell, totalling approx $1800 more. Despite they are options, I did not want. very disengenuios in how they process and advertise there pricing. Mike, the service manager, claims he "can do anything for you," but when I actually needed help, he did nothing. My friend who doesn't speak English well, went in for a simple oil change. They tried to upsell him with the usual 15k-mile services, which is fine, but they slipped in "and alignment" he wouldn't catch that. He trusted them and agreed, and then at checkout he was hit with a bill for almost $400 on a LEASED vehicle. To make it worse, they returned his car with grease stains all over his fabric seats. no accountability, nothing. I called "what do you want me to do" he said. I can do anything I'm the manager. How about refunding it. No he wanted the car back in his shop. He's not a good person to talk to he just said it's us vs them basically. Now we have to pay someone to take out the grease stains from the fabric. read more

Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap crap crap crap says my belts are worn out but it's part of recall. Broke a part of my engine. Fucked up my car. I brought in my car for computer reset and diagnostic. They said my fuel pump is part of the recall so they fixed it. I get my car and it smells like gasoline. I drive my car and see a trail of gas coming out my car. My car stops. They tow my car back and says because it's a new pump it fucked up? They charge me another 250 because of labor ? My car didn't have no problems with fuel but left with more problems. I told the guy that my car has a broken piece and tells me that he can't help me because the other girl helped ???? Bullshit place don't go if you want your car fucked. What's crazier is that I got a diagnostic from Christian's brothers before and they had all green for fuel pump, engine, and other things they said. One of the workers told my brother that my car in his wording is all fucked up and in shiity shape? But my car was not having fuel pump problems? Or engine problems! read more

hi I did leave a review before but because I thought i received such great service from this location but what actually happened instead was they charged me $490 for a problem they never fixed!!!. I came in to get other work done but also my brakes because they were not breaking correctly all they decided to do was a resurface of rotors and said "my brakes were fine they needed a little scuffing". I couldnt Trust taking my vehicle back to them because when I spoke to Manager Mike he was More! concerned about his mechanic being accused of taking money and not doing his job correctly then my vehicle being safe to drive. Mind you I have a two year old disabled child I have to drive to and from appointments. I literally had to get my step father to check the vehicle because I literally did not want to travel 40minutes to be told there was nothing wrong with the vehicle that I was already scared to drive. My stepfather confirm my rotors were loose and bolts were not tighten. the brake pads had rust and rotors had rust and extremely worn down. As soon as my stepfather and fiancée replaced my brakes and rotors my car I can confirm drives safer than ever!!!!. Please do your research before coming here. Because now I am out of $490 and for something they did which was a waste of time because when I bought the car the rotors already had been resurfaced prior.
