Simply an amazing sandwich shop, I mean got love they have basic sandwiches with upgraded flair and flavor. Plus love the menu board that is individually posted on separate pages with very full descriptions. All that aside I got spicy cheesesteak and let me say it lived up to it, with chili's relishes and seasoning, thinly sliced beef and plenty of gooey cheesesteak, with a lot of caramelized onions. Definitely worth a try.

The Fred. Highly recommend!

Whether you're making the trip up from the city or you're lucky enough to call Dutchess County home, Beacon Quality Eats is absolutely worth the stop. This spot is serving up some of the best sandwiches in the Hudson Valley--hands down. On a recent visit, I tried the Duck Banh Mi and The Fred--both were phenomenal. The flavors were bold, balanced, and creative, without being overdone. The duck was tender and richly seasoned, and The Fred hit that perfect savory-satisfying spot. And the house-made pastrami? Out. Standing. You can tell it's made with care and quality from the very first bite. The vibe inside matches the food--laid back, cool, and effortlessly inviting. There's fantastic street art on the walls, ceiling, and even in the bathroom, all done by a local artist, which gives the place a unique energy that fits right into Beacon's creative spirit. It's easy to swing by, grab something delicious, and head out to explore the town, or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Great service that is quick and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu. This place isn't just a quick stop--it's a reason to visit Beacon all on its own.

We went with another couple for a weekend trip to Beacon. We picked Beacon because there is good golf (Centennial and Union Vale) and good food in the area, such as the Kitchen Sink Supper Club. To be honest, we were not optimistic when we first sat down because the chef explained that the seasonal tasting would be a "celebration of tomatoes." I had selected this restaurant based on online reviews so I felt horrible because my wife and the other couple do not really like tomatoes. Fortunately for me, they were all willing to give it a shot; although, they did really have a choice since we had to prepay for the meals when we made the reservation. Interestingly enough and fortunately for them, this "celebration of tomatoes" did not mean that every dish was tomato-forward in taste or presentation. In fact, the presence of the tomatoes was barely noticeable in a few dishes such as in the ceviche and the salad. I am usually not a fan of ceviche but I really enjoyed this one because of the corn 3-ways and the scallops. It just goes to show that you should not dismiss this place just because you do not usually like the dishes on their seasonal menu; you should give them a shot. One of the dishes in their regular menu is an MLT: mackerel (!) bacon, tomato and greens on a brioche. Luckily, this was changed that night to a delicious creamy tomato soup. The only thing missing was a grilled cheese sandwich to dip but with so many courses, we were probably better off without it. The stars of the night were the inside out ravioli and the Wagyu beef steak tomato. As the name implies, the tomato sauce was inside the ravioli and it was quite the flavor bomb. The wagyu steak cubs with accompanying tomato cubes were perfectly cooked and so well seasoned, and the cubes complemented each other perfectly. I did not know what to expect from a tomato dessert but as with a couple of other dishes, you could not really tell there were tomatoes in there, which was just fine for my fellow diners because they were tomatoed out at that point.

The baller meatball sub

These folks are artisans of sandos. The Baller is so good. The meatballs are huge and the ricotta is a perfect compliment. The chicken shawarma is filled with juicy chicken, tons of fresh toppings and fresh pita. Super impressed

Went here for Valentine's Day, our first dining out date. I usually cook on this day but decided to venture out and see what's out there. Was intrigued what KSS had to offer and decided to do the chef's tasting menu. They are only open for supper on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The place is intimate and the tasting menu was presented on the table with the optional wine pairing. From the moment we had the first bite, it was just an experience. Bite after bite was a delight for our taste buds. Although the ingredients were familiar, the taste was not. It truly needed the attention of your taste buds to enjoy each bite. You don't know what you don't know and each bite of this course was phenomenal. The pork that was served was a cross breed of an Iberico and Berkshire hog (I was told) from a natural farm. That parsnip puree and its sauce was unlike I've ever tasted. I literally wanted to lick that plate clean. The meat may have been overcooked as it was a little hard to cut into it. If you want to experience a Chef's tasting locally at Beacon, head to their website for reservations and check out the menu.

Great food nice people…read more The meat was very good but VERY VERY expensive. Also their sandwiches are very good but very small. $16.95 got me a pulled pork but it was served on a Martin's Potato Roll, which while tasty is tiny. They're not even using the "Martin's BIG Potato Rolls" just the small regular ones. The sandwiches come with chips for free or fries for an upcharge -- But the chips are homemade and frankly way better than the fries! That said again it was good but for the price the sandwiches should be much bigger. They were dog friendly and very nice which we loved. We will be back soon!

The steak sandwich was yummy, thinly sliced cuts beef, gooey cheese and well seasoned. The sandwich would been better on roll or crusty bread over a hamburger bun though. House-made potato chips were my favorite, well seasoned and cooked just to crispy, other places tend to burn chips but here just right. The filet taco, was very small, mostly a just two bites. It's meat filling was alright, tiny diced but filled the space. The taco sauce though was fire, very savory and well seasoned, almost wish the meat was cooked on the sauce rather than salt and pepper it. Have to come back and buy some of the raw stuff for home, since a very wide selection of cuts is here I can't get at supermarket for sure

It's clearly family run and the woman who served us was so lovely. The food was incredibly fresh. It was so tasty. We came out very satisfied. The Turkish breakfast is essentially a smorgasbord of various foods. There's cheese there's nuts there's dried fruit. There's fresh fruit. There's cucumber and tomato salad, there's sausage, there's olives, there's bread, there's butter with honey, tahini with molasses, jam, and there's eggs. We got the eggs in the traditional style, which is mixed with peppers and tomatoes. And it was absolutely delicious. Overall, loved this place and would absolutely come back.

My friends and I got the kofta platter and Turkish breakfast with the menemen, which was this interesting tomato and egg dish that was very soft and mildly sweet. The kofta beef meatballs were nice and savory, perfectly paired with the rice and salad. The Turkish breakfast is primarily a lot of cheeses with sauces and small bites with a bread basket - would only recommend if you like different kinds of cheeses and since it is very light on its own it would prob be best to order something in addition to it. My friends and I also tried the salep tea which was this traditional Turkish drink that is very thick and creamy, has a very unique texture with a sweet flavor and cinnamon garnish.

We ordered thereat and butter board that came with different types of breads and butters. Omg?! The brioche bread was so fluffy and dense. The grained bread was also delicious. I didn't taste the sourdough but I am sure it was incredible. The MAPLE BUTTER was perfect. It had the perfect amount of maple that was not overpowering - very well balanced. The everything but the bagel butter was also really good. The salted was a great classic. I also ordered the BLTA which was divine. The bacon had a hot honey coated which was such a nice touch. It came with seasoned fries which I normally don't love but I enjoyed them. We got orange juice that was clearly straight from the orange! Someone at the table to get a side of sausage patties which you can tell were hand made and they were not too salty! The only con was that we had to ask to order because it was taking a long time. Overall, I would go back and recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Beacon!
