Had breakfast here. They were very busy. Parking lot was packed. Had a multi option meal. Choice of eggs, meat , bread and potatoes. Everything came in a timely fashion. I ordered my eggs over medium . They rarely come that way. They came as ordered and it surprised me. They were also serving lunch too. You should consider eating here. This is our second visit to the Beachside Diner. Overall, we had a good experience. My 17-year-old son got the two pancake breakfast and added chocolate chips. He ended up eating about one pancake and couldn't eat the rest because he was full. My mom had the french toast, and she finished the whole plate. My sister got the corned beef hash, hash browns, eggs over easy, and toast. She said it was all good, but the corned beef hash had some sort of seasoning she was unfamiliar with, and that seasoning somewhat overpowered everything else. I got the smokehouse breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs, home fries, and a bagel. Everything I had was good, and the breakfast came with 4 pieces of bacon. Most times, breakfast plates like that come with two pieces of bacon, so 4 pieces was a nice surprise. The scrambled eggs were a little overdone for me, but that's personal preference. My sister and I wanted biscuits, but the server said they were out and wouldn't be getting anymore until later that day. Our server was very attentive and helpful, and she gave good service. The ambiance is pretty much a classic diner feel. Thankfully, the air conditioner wasn't set too cold, so the temperature of the diner was appropriate. We recommend this place, and we will probably return when we come back to the area again. read more

This place was AMAZING!! Our server was so kind and she gave us some great suggestions on food. My only complaint is the wait time but it was 100% worth the way. Everything was delicious and the portions on everything were soooo good! If you like left overs this place is perfect! We sat outside and there was a wonderful cool breeze. We walked about 9 minutes from our hotel which was the Marriot Bonvoy. We had about a 10 minute wait on a Saturday morning about 9am. Everyone was pleasant and the restaurant was clean. All staff wore mask and cleaned after all guest. The portions were plentiful and good for the price. The chicken was a little spicy and tender and I enjoyed it. They drizzled honey on the waffle and I didn't add any syrup. It was a different taste for me but I liked it. It was just a taste of sweetness. Definitely considering coming back for lunch or dinner on another day during our vacation. read more

Amazing breakfast/brunch location - we came on a Monday morning so the wait was not long. But I can imagine that it gets busy on the weekends. Wide variety of brunch drinks - we tried mimosas and you should too. Large menu with traditional breakfast and lunch options. Chicken tenders were highly rated by my friend who is a very picky eater and the portion was so large, she had enough food for the rest of the day. Eggs Benedict that I got were delicious as well. This place does everything very well. I highly recommend them. The service was excellent. The food was fresh and very well prepared. Only downside was their parking lot tends to flood and it was a rainy day. I had the fish and shrimp . I have to say since restaurants are back with in store dinning I've found some of the menu items to be lacking at places. I've noticed the seafood hasn't been fresh tasting.... I chalked it up to having yo get back in the swing of things! Beachside did not have this problem. The freshness and quality of their fish and shrimp was immediately noticeable. I'm not one to rave about fish. I do love shrimp though. But I'm raving about both. They were hands down the freshest I've had in a while. So good! This place is doing things differently in a good way. Probably the 25-30th place I have stopped for breakfast at this last year as part of my humanitarian foundation work. I found this nice quaint diner beachside while camping nearby in my tent. I chose to sit outside and eat with the pet owners that were definitely catered to and treated special. I was greeted by a host and helped by several people during my visit. I only had to ask for a coffee refill once. Overall portions and prices are reasonable for this area in FL. I usually tip well if I feel valued and I definitely did here. I will be back here as it's one of my top 5 favorites so far. Always on my own and always order the same dishes. Plenty more to go!! Maybe one day things will progress and we can all be food critics based on our experiences. Give this place a try if you're in town. You'll feel welcomed. I ordered takeout with a full breakfast and 1/2 order biscuits and gravy. I received one takeout container. When I questioned them, they stated all is in there. It was all inside, with a piece of paper separating the eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns.. The piece of paper over the above with the biscuits and gravy on top of the paper. One I tried to lift the paper off the rest of the meal, it was saturated and now I have one large bowl of mixed everything. Why could they not place the biscuits and gravy in a separate container? I guess they would rather screw a local customer than spend 30Cents for a container for the B and Gravy. They must prey on all of the vacationers, because, being a local, we will never go there again. read more

Food is good and decor refreshing. Nice patio seating too. The one thing that is terrible here is the seating management. There will be literally 8 tables open and customers are told there is a wait. And yes, plenty of waitstaff. A 35 minute wait is not unusual for you to get that table that has been open the whole time. Host stand has no idea what's going on. Pretty good lunch with the family! The food was cozy with massive portions. Chicken pot pie, Cuban sandwich, biscuits and gravy were all delicious. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and felt unwell after a bite or two. I packaged up my lunch and we left. About 2 hours later, I opened my lunch back up and took another bite. The same stomach pain came back and I decided to just throw my lunch out. I don't believe it was food poisoning or anything like that, but I wouldn't order that meal again lol. What a great spot on A1A for a good, hearty breakfast. We sat outside, as it was such a nice morning, but the inside was beautiful, and super clean. Waitstaff were excellent. Very pleasant and attentive to their patrons. Loved my grits, the scrambled eggs as well as the home fries. They were excellent. The hash was very good, although somewhat different than I'm used to getting in the northeast. But I was just happy to find a restaurant down south that serves hash.
